Secure fast good rates
I have used HIFX for several years. They are fast. It's great being able to trade outside normal banking hours. I am very happy with the system they use. I would recommend them to others without reservation

helpful, straightforward and I was so pleased with the rate I got.
All my phone calls were dealt with very efficiently and clearly and I found the online site easy to use.
I was very pleased with the exchange rate I got for my £-euros transaction.
The money arrived at its destination the next day without a hitch.

Quick easy and simple way to transfer money
Hifix is a very simple to understand web site, it makes transferring money abroad easy for anyone. Their exchange rates are good and charges reasonable.
I always check my bank rates and thus far Hifx has always been better .

Foreign exchange made easy
I woould certainly recommend HiFX for foreign currency purchase and transfer. I have been using them for 7 or 8 years now and never a glitch. Website is great - simple to use and very competitive rates.

I first read about your service in the local free paper and decided to see for myself , we visited your office in Villamartin
to see if we could transfer money from the UK to Spain, the staff in the office were professional friendly and most helpful.
Natasha told us exactly what to do, and it could not have been easier. I would recommend anyone to try it.

Quick and easy

An excellent quick and easy service to use
I have just used HiFX for the first time, having used a number of currency transfer companies previously. I had been satisfied with them all but thought I would give HiFX a try. Now I have done so, I must say it seemed seemed to offer the easiest and best service of them all. It was easy to join abd easy to make the transfer. I did not even need to make a telephone call: it could all be done on line very quickly. I was surprised to find that I could even settle the account with HiFX by using a debit card which, for this relatively small amount, was more convenient than the alternative of a bank transfer that was offered. I shall certainly use the service again for both small and larger amounts - and use the bank transfer alternative for the larger amounts.

Too many things they "don't do", not bothered to mention on the website.
Tried to sign up for an account and somehow ended up with a personal instead of a business account.
- Found out that the money I sent them to xfer from the business account couldn't be used, since it wasn't from my personal account.
- Couldn't transfer money from a personal to a business account.
- Couldn't migrate from a personal account to a business account.
Went to set up a business account and
- was told I needed ID (which I did't need for the personal account).
- was told they don't do the currency I wanted in anything under £10,000 per transaction, on a business account.
- was told that if I wanted to move the money to myself, then transfer from my personal account, the limit wouldn't apply.
Oddly, I hadn't noticed until later, but the exchange rate was always $50 less than the XE.com rate (perhaps a mere coincidence, since I only checked it a dozen or so times over the span of several hours fluctuations).
In short, it was an absolute utter waste of time. The time I wasted, even at minimum wage would have more than offset me just using Paypal or our default bank transfer, so there was no savings to be had, even if I had managed to eventually transfer the money.
On the upside, the team did refund my original deposit, and although not exactly a laugh a minute, were not rude or mean. They conducted themselves professionally and expeditiously, and as well as their corporate policies would allow them (in my opinion).
I'm sure for personal transactions, this could be a possible way to go for many people.

Simple and efficient
Cheaper at £9 than the £25 quoted by my bank. My payee was pleased to get the confirmation email from HiFX the same day that I arranged it although it took several days to appear in their bank a/c

Would not use again.
Having made a number of payments to my beneficiary previously via the Post Office, I noticed that HiFX were offering a slightly better exchange rate. I was a little disappointed that on the sum of £2000 I was charged an additional £9 in fees, but I was probably going to be slightly better off nonetheless so I proceeded with the transaction. I was quoted the sum of $3077 US dollars as being the amount that would be credited to my beneficiary. However only $3057 US dollars were received. On contacting HiFX I was told that it was likely to be a charge made by one of the receiving banks. I have never incurred this charge previously when using the Post Office to transfer funds to the US. I was however, told that it was 'probably' Barclays in New York that made the charge. I would hope that had all my money disappeared I would be a little more informed than 'It has 'probably' been stolen'!!
On looking at HiFX's FAQs I notice that they say the receiving bank may make a charge but that they are unable to know this in advance or for how much this will be for. HiFX are able to say that it will not be refunded however! I would hope that a receiving bank would not charge considerably more than the $20 charged to me!! I may be new to the complex world of high finance, but would it not be possible to ask in advance? Wow! With thinking like that maybe there is a role for me in the banking world!!

Money out, Money in, Money there.....
First time I have used this company after being given the name from a friend, so I gave it a shot. Once I had registered with them the rest seemed to be relatively easy. I transferred the money from my bank which I set up on-line, within 2 hours it was with
HIFX, then a day or two later it was with the receiver ready to use. Simple!

HIFX gives you confidence to plan ahead.
In this day and age when Banks take every opportunity to take a little extra it is refreshing to get what it says on the tin.
Use HIFX if you want to transfer your pension on a regular basis and also have the confidence to plan you retirement with confidence.
I use it for major cash transfers and also to transfer my pension every few months.
I always know exactly how much is going to arrive in my current account.

HiFX are simple to use, safe and trustworthy; just what you need when you trust someone with your money.
I have been using HiFX since April 2012 when I sold up and moved to Canada. Their website is simple to use and is safe. It is simplicity itself to speak with an advisor should you wish. I transfer my UK pension on a monthly basis and achieve better exchange rates than I would through my bank.

Even for an 'oldie', it was easy for first timer, once I had found them.
My problem was my own local bank and others that I called on. All I
Wanted was a little help and fair exchange rate to send 11K to Europe. Did my bank help ? NO.
Did HiFx help ? YES. Thomas was very clear and concise in his instruction and the rate was good on the day. I was several hundred Euros better off. GOOD ONE.
I needed to find a helpful business and have confidence in them online. Well I did and now I have. Thank you.

Simple to use, efficient in operation.

The changes to the system of operation for the transfer of money has proved to be simple, efficient and professional. Fast, efficient and great value!
I've used HiFX several times now to transfer money to my builder in France. It is quick to do online, easy, safe and hassle free. I've always got a good rate in comparison to other companies and streets ahead of my bank. It has never taken longer than 2 days for the money to be transferred and on some occasions he has received it the next day.
I'm very careful with my money and would recommend HiFX to anyone.

Good, efficient service

This is due to being unable to verify the legitimacy of the beneficiary bank, processing such a payment would be a breach of our regulatory obligations and our duty of care towards our customer."
I should have got my window cleaner to do it, he might have been successful!

Occasionally this means we'll refund a transfer made at no loss to the client if we are unable to verify the legitimacy of the beneficiary bank and/or as the email said we believe by processing the payment we'd be breaching our duty of care to you the customer or our regulatory obligations.
I really appreciate how frustrating this maybe for you, however I also hope you'll understand that we're trying to act with your best interests at heart.

I was transferring sterling on behalf of my Church to South African Charities. One of the charities had too many digits in the bank code. HiFX phoned me to advise that there was a problem. After a discussion, I edited the transaction and the problem was resolved.

Brilliant service

Easy, reliable, safe.
I have used HiFX many times before for currency transfers so my details are held in their secure system which makes the on- line procedure simple and quick.Whilst their rates are not quite as good as taking currency in cash it is so much safer. I am kept informed at each stage of the transaction and the amount quoted is what you receive - no hidden "extras". No worries, no uncertainty just peace of mind.
