Its a nice unit, but i wouldn't be fooled by the virtual surround as its not that good, its loud, i haven't had time to check and see if it has individual bass settings to turn it down, the web access section doesn't have a great interface but its useable. It does the job, its clear and crisp, I cannot fault the speakers. I cannot get the whole ARC thing working but that may just be my TV!

However,goods ordered both on price and being in stock (important as we were moving house within 10 days) but after the date we should have received goods we had an e-mail to say they would have more stock on 05.10.12.This came & went with no further contact.Chased them up on 10.10.12 - still no stock.Stock due in w/c 15.10.12.
Action - cancelled and had to drive 30 mile round trip to obtain product locally at only £0.99 difference .
Moral with this company - make sure they have got stock when ordering.
Refund was quick.
Bought a Bosch washing machine online from Hispek- very good price, good communication, was impressed with the courier, who kept in touch, nothing was too much trouble and they unpacked and took the packaging away. Well done
Product arrived in excellent condition - but took several days longer than anticipoated - this review request arrived three days before the product was delivered which made it seem that the product delivery time was longer than intended
It took some time for Hispek to advise that the item was out of stock and took a phone call for the information. Ultimately I did get 2 emails apologising for the delay with an 'instock date' and a delivery date which finally was met.
Ordered a Miele vacuum cleaner last week as the website said the item was in stock and it would be 5-7 delivery time, this was fine and perfectly acceptable. Also had a phone call from their staff to confirm payment details as the registered address was different to our delivery address (we have recently moved) on the Friday, day after placing the order. Having waited 7 days and not received any further communication about my purchase being delivered, I chased the sales team to advise and was told that there was a delay from the manufacturer that could delay the item by 2-3 weeks. Was quite annoyed to be told that and frustrating no one got back to me regarding the delay. Was the best price for the item but I would've quite happily paid a bit more to have it delivered sooner.
I had never heard of Hispek before so was a little dubious about handing over card details. I needn't have worried. They said it would take 5-7 working days and it was delivered the next day. First class, well done.
Purchased a Neff built in coffee machine. After searching the internet intesively this was the best price. Communication from Hispek was great they rang and advised when to expect then rang on the night before and within 1/2 hour of there arrival. The item was delivered in good condition, on time and pleasant delivery guys, All in all a good experience and would recommend Hispek.
WHY STATE THE VACUUM CLEANER IS IN STOCK WHEN IT IS NOT. AND WHY DID IT TAKE 4 PHONECALLS OVER 15 MINUTES EACH BEFORE YOU FINALLY COME CLEAN AND ADMIT THAT THE CLEANER WAS NOT IN STOCK.
With the best price on the web, I wasn't expecting such good customer service. I spoke to aiysha on the phone regarding a security querey and was very impressed with how upbeat and friendly she was. Was a refreshing difference to the typical off seas unfriendly call centres dealing with orders. My order was dispatched earlier than expected and was delivered two days earlier than stated in the email. Overall very satisfied with my experience with HiSpek
I ordered a Miele vacuum cleaner at the beginning of week 1. Online, the price offered was the best available, and a number of other stockists were out of stock, including John Lewis, so I went ahead to make a purchase from Hispek. My old vacuum cleaner had broken, but I was prepared to wait the 5-7 working days for a replacement. Payment was taken from my account on the day of purchase. After 7 working days, ie the middle of week 2, I emailed the company to ask where my item was. I was then informed that the item was out of stock but due in at the end of the week. I called the company at the end of the week and was assured my item was due for delivery and would arrive Mon or Tue the following week (week 3). On Tue, I received an email to say that I needed to contact the Hispek team. When I called, I was told my item was still not in stock and would take another 2-3 weeks to arrive. Of course, I could not wait this long to buy a vacuum cleaner. The staff were very helpful, but if the website had registered in the first place that the item was out of stock, I would not have pursued the purchase. I am still waiting to be reimbursed in my bank account.
I emailed Hispek via spares-2-go, about a fairly obscure part for my Krups coffee machine. Not only did they respond within 24 hours, they sent an entire diagram of the whole machine so I could properly identify the part I was looking for. I have ordered the part which is due within a week, and kept the diagram for anything else which may eventually go. Very helpful.
My item never arrived: contacted HiSpek and then had to try and get it delivered myself from the couriers who had lied and said they left a card for the delivery. Couriers promised delivery again and it still didn't arrive. Contacted HiSpek, they contacted the couriers, and told me my delivery would be with me in a matter of hours. It never came. This all took over two weeks for an item that was originally bought as a present for someone whose birthday passed during this period. I only used HiSpek for their supposed swift despatch.
Demanded full refund and five days later still waiting. Considering HiSpek debited my account for the full amount the day I placed my order, I find that an interesting customer-service attitude.
No real apology from HiSpek for any of this. Then got an automated email asking me to review how great my experience was: and this is it.
Without doubt, my worst online purchasing experience.
Learnt my lesson and will stick to Amazon in future.
My wife got a new kitchen and needed a new hob so we checked around and found the best deal with Hi-Spek.The hob was delivered with-in 5 days,came well packaged.Would definately use this shop again.
I wanted to purchase Bose OE2 White headphones that most suppliers are still selling for £129. I saw Hispek in a comparison list and noticed that they were selling the same Headphones for £99 with free P & P and were a Bose dealer. I placed my order and received my Headphones within 2 days with an e-mail update of progress. I highly recommend Hispek for superb service and excellent prices.
The machine is great, but then that's nothing less than I expected as my previous machine was a Bosch washer.
I was disappointed that it didn't come sooner, on the website delivery is quoted as 5 working days, mine was 6, or even 7 if the order was noted the day it was placed.
I paid a collection charge of £20, but because they didn't have the paperwork (or so they claimed) the delivery team were not willing to take the old machine, even though I showed them a printout with it clearly stating the collection charge. They phoned their office, and I heard the lady tell them not to take the old machine, so something clearly amiss with the admin there.
We wanted to replace a small TV in our kitchen and having found the unit that we wanted - a Samsung 22" - we came across Hispek who had it in stock and were competitive in price. The order was placed and delivered within 2 days.
I ordered a Bose iPod docking station for a new Lifestyle system. It was the best price on the Internet and arrived two days later. I particularly like the stock update before you order. I have ordered stuff before from other companies only to be told it will be weeks before its in stock and will be sent. Hispek sent me several emails regarding the order and including when it had been dispatched. Overall great service and will use them again.

It wouldn't work! My husband in the end found out that it was the fault of the fuse in the plug attatched to the cleaner!
I really think that it should have been checked before sending it out to a customer to find if was working.
Told because credit card registered at different address than delivery address that would have to get authorization code from bank before could be delivered. Too much hassle. Ordered from Amazon instead even though slightly more expensive.
I am still waiting for the TV even though the website said it was instock at the time to be called to say it was not,hopefully i will recieve it soon.
Hispek were advertising Bose Quiet Comfort 15 noise cancelling headphones for £249 - £30 less than the competition and £50 cheaper than Bose themselves. I duly ordered them with free p&p and they arrived 5 days later. It doesn't really get any better and the headphones work fine
I purchased a Bosch induction hob for my wife as a part of a new kitchen fitting, it was to be a surprise for her, no birthday or anniversary, just a surprise present. It transpired that you need special magnetic pots and pans to use on the induction hob. as a consequence I went online to find the earliest delivery available for such utensils; the hob being hidden in our garage until the pots were delivered. On Friday 21st September I found a site for Hispek Electronics, which boasted five working days delivery on items bought; the price was virtually identical to that of other suppliers, but the selling factor was the 5 day promise. I therefore completed the order form and made payment, but at this time was informed that the delivery time was now extended to 5 to 7 working days. Having navigated the requisite pages I decided to make the payment anyway, many companies I deal with, have a safety time factor built in, but deliver way ahead of forecast. On the following day (Saturday 22nd) I received acknowledgement of my order. On Friday 28th September I received an advice that my package had been despatched that day. The package duly arrived on Tuesday 2nd October; the franking on the package showed the pans had actually been sent on Monday 1st October. Without claiming to be a mathematical genius, I estimated that even assuming that Saturdays were not counted for packing and dispatch purposes, the Friday/Mon/Tues/Wed/Thurs/Fri/ and then Mon of the following week, must surely amount to seven working days. Thus my wait exceeded even their maximum scenario. The surprise present for my wife was to my mind unnecessarily delayed, actually arriving finally on a day when I had to make a trip abroad, which compounded the aggravation. I could probably have gone to any of at least five or six other companies who without professing to offer an express service, might well have got the goods to me in a much quicker timespan more especially in view of the fact that the transportation seems only to have taken a single day !

Ordering on line was simple, there was an issue with delivering to my work address, rather than the registered address for my credit card. However they quickly sorted this once I had returned their call and sent confirmation of the work address. If not for that I would have awarded 5 stars and I would definitely look to use them again.
I recently purchased a new Bosch oven from Hispek and I have to say I am delighted with both the buy itself and the service provided. When I was notified the item was ready for despatch I was told I would receive by text a time window of two hours the day before delivery; one the day the driver would ring approximately one hour before delivery. Both these thing happened, which enabled me to plan my day without having to wait in. Thank for a great service Hispek, I will happily buy from you again anytime.
I ordered some Bose Companion 2 speakers for my desktop PC. I hadn't heard of Hispek before and I rang to check on their delivery schedule before placing the order. I needn't have had any concerns whatsoever. A staff member contacted me by phone the day after I'd placed the order and informed me that the goods would arrive at my home the next day. Hispek, as far as I am concerned, means a high specification product sold, a high specification service, including good prices and a high specification delivery..
We ordered a Miele vacuum as a replacement for one on which the motor had burnt out. The cost was virtually the same as a replacement motor so a bargain and was delivered very quickly following our order. Excellent service
