We booked a transfer from Girona airport to Tossa de Mar. Although the booking voucher said we would be taken to our apartment and collected from there, the coach driver informed us that he would drop us at the bus terminal since the coach was too big for the narrow streets of Tossa. The problem then was that for the return trip we were supposed to receive a fax 48 hours before, saying when and where would they collect us (for an early flight on Monday morning). Since nothing was faxed within 48 hours or our collection time I phoned the contact number appearing on the voucher, which unfortunately happens to be a premium number. I tried for hours without response and then I tried the British number (all from a phone box, spent a fortune) without getting any help either. In the end I got through the premium number and was given a place and time for collection. I asked for a confirmation fax to be sent to the hotel (I had to give them the number and so I am not sure how would they have sent the initially promised fax if they did not appear to know where to send it to) and when that eventually arrived that evening it had the wrong day on it (pick up on Sunday rather than Monday). At that point the office was closed and they don't open Sundays and so there was no way to get in touch and confirm they really must have meant Monday and not Sunday and this had hopefully been an error on the fax. In the end I had to get up at 7am on the Sunday (my last day of holidays, which was rather spoiled by all of this) and go to the place to check if the coach turned up to try to talk to somebody to confirm we were traveling early the following day. The coach did not turn up on the Sunday and so we assumed it would work on Monday. It did and we got to the airport on time but after totally unnecessary stress due to poor organization. I would not recommend or book again.
