Item was not delivered, so had to chase, several times, was told by the manager that the company had tried to deliver it to me 4 times, that was untrue i have found out by the courier. So after a few weeks wait the swing seat arrived, and it was damaged in two places, immediately phoned and left a message explained the problem, no one go back to me, so i emailed.. and no one has got back to me, i then sent an email to the manager and no he hasnt got back to me. Going to contact my credit card company as i am just fed up with being ignored.
Ordered garden furniture and did not pay with PayPal but paid direct debit. Money was taken within 24 hours but thereafter no communication of confirmation. Several goes at communicating with them finally got an email with order confirmed. 3 weeks later and honestly 5 emails with no response and 5 telephone calls where they don't answer or provide facility to leave a message. It took a message on Facebook to get a response out of them, as my suspicions were I had been conned!
This did get them to communicate with me but it took ano week before we got the item. Which by the way was stacked outside my front door! Luckily no one stole it.
So the posititive is the product is good, the service, terrible!
This is my first experince with Homcom. I bought a topcase for my motorbike online. When it arrived the clasp of the topcase snapped the very first time I closed it. Upon inspection I found that at it's narrowest point it was only a tiny piece of plastic. In other words it has a design fault.
Via their website messaging service I reported imediately to homcom that I wanted my money back and asked how to return the topcase. I received an automated response. That was the last I've heard from them (3 days ago).
As it happens I needed topcase for a specific event next week and will now have to go somewhere else to buy one in the shops.
I will never buy anything again from this firm and suggest noone else does either, In my opinion they're a very unprofessional outfit.
Ordered item on line,but when i checked my order it said no orders placed,which then i couldnt track item for delivery.
Tried to phone them for two days and they line was dead,sent an e mail which took 24hrs to reply so by now i was 3 days down the line without any idea where my item was then on the 4th day i had a confermation e mail to say my item was sent next day delivery,so all in all realy bad customer service but got my item on time,would i buy again from them yes but i will use the E Bay shop as you can get in contact with them if any problems unlike the Homcom website
Apparently the product we ordered comes in three boxes. I found this out after calling the day they delivered one box. I was told the remaining boxes would be delivered the next day....and the day after that.....and the day after that. We were then left over bank holiday weekend with one third of the product we ordered sitting in the hall, a ridiculous phone bill and no clue as to what is happening as Homcom have failed to call us back....several times.....even after explaining advisors had previously let us down. Homcom have had our money for some time now. We have been told that the product we ordered is out of stock, we have been told that the rest of the product is ready to be delivered and we have been told that they tried to deliver it but they were told that they couldn't deliver it all as it was too large. No one has a clue what is going on and after another week of premium phone calls and more advisors not getting back to us, we have given up. I will be phoning the police and relevant bodies (trading standards) first thing in the morning. Even if they had delivered the product it is ridiculous that the boxes have been split up (something one advisor told me happens frequently) because the last thing we would need is to begin assembling the parts after weeks of waiting to find that we have two or three of the same boxes....in other words the wrong parts! Please listen to the feedback on this site....we wish we had.
excellent service, the phone operators, were really good, and understood the problem right away, a replacement was sent within two days, would not hesitate to recommend the company to anyone
Ordered a static bike to rehabilitate after a nasty injury. Bike came quite quickly but with the 2 essential holding screws missing. After 4 contacts I have been promised the replacements ...... a month later and still waiting......
I wanted an indoor cycle trainer at a cheap price and decided to buy a HOMCOM trainer from MH Star Ltd.
When I ordered on line I was pleased to see that the company was offering a 10% discount for January sales.
I ordered the trainer on Wednesday evening, the company despatched on Thursday, on Friday morning I got an email notifying that the item would be with me between 11 and 12am and it was delivered at 11.30am. Excellent service.
The trainer appears to be well made and is working OK. The only doubt I have is about the long term durability of the cups which clamp onto my bike's rear wheel spindle. The description of the trainer claims that it suits bolt on wheels, but the plastic securing cups are obviously designed to fit conical headed nuts rather than the standard hex headed nuts fitted to most bikes including mine. I think that I shall have to try to obtain some suitable conical nuts otherwise the plastic lined fittings are going to quickly wear with frequent use. Otherwise: decent product . . . excellent delivery.
I was very impressed with both the price of the puppy pen and the speed with which it was delivered.It was great to be emailed and text the exact time that it would be delivered as well, no waiting in all day as is usual with most companies. I would definitely use again !
Looking for a sofa bed I came across homcom. I didn't think it twice after seeing their sofas on sale. Bought one which arrived 2 days after in perfect conditions via courier. So far so good. I recommend this company to anyone

good value for money. had an email on the monday saying it would be delivered tuesday morning between 11.30 and 12.30. it came at 11. 30. via tnt, royal mail take note will use again.
As with any site that you find which appears to be reasonably priced one fears inferior quality, over hyped products,etc. Two purchases of dog grooming products, process was dealt with quickly, very good prices, delivery was efficient, quick and included in price, and lastly the goods met expectations upon arrival. Obviously will only know about durability with the passing of time however they look and feel like they will last. Interesting site generally....not many sites have lots of bee keeping kit + other interesting off the track products.... all in all impressed and would recommend a visit.
I recently bought a rattan furniture set which was the best deal that found online. The item arrived by courier 2 days after. Took me a while to assemble it but now it all looks great. I'd recommend this company to my friends.
I ordered a 3x6 pop up gazebo, when it arrived it wasnt a pop up but one that you had to put all the poles together, this gazebo is ok but not what I ordered and over priced for a gazebo like this, I paid £94, can get one similar for around £70. I informed homcom and they eventuallly got back to me by email. They sent out a new gazebo and wanted to ppick the one up that I received but it was to late I had already used the original gazebo for my sons 21st birthday, to slow in sorting the problem out, won't be using again.
I bought the rattan garden furniture and was delighted with the service, the product and the delivery.
I rang with them to ask some questions, and they called me back with answers as promised, and were very personable.
I have nothing but praise for them
Ordered a motorcycle topbox - arrived without keys. when I called them, homcom sent a replacement, which had a broken lock and then another one with a broken lock again. when I asked for a refund, the customer service rep asked for photos (or a top box that cannot be opened?!) - I give up. not buying from them again.
Following her surgery I needed a dog pram to help my dog get around. Homcom wasn`t the cheapest, but it was the second cheapest. Purchasing the pram was easy and the pram was delivered very quickly, although it was scuffed on the frame work. However, I needed the use of the pram , so I have kept it. I`m sure it would have been quickly replaced if I`d sent it back. I hadn`t heard of Homcom before and it wasn`t easily found through a search engine via "dog pram" but I did come across it and I`m glad I did. I will be checking out Homcom again.
After placing my order I realised I need to make a change. I contacted the customer service desk and found the lady I spoke to very friendly and helpful. She sorted out my problem easily.
The delivery arrived promptly and the item I ordered was exactly as described.

I purchased the 6 piece rattan garden furniture last week whilst it was still on offer and I have to say, even at the new price it's still a bargain given what you'd pay in your local garden centre.
I spent weeks looking at sets locally; being put off by £900+ prices and in the end decided that, at less than £400, I realise I'll be getting what I paid for and not to worry if the furniture turned out to be less impressive than that which I'd already seen. In my mind it was a case of believing that the prices at garden centres were nothing more than massively over inflated and simply not being willing to pay such a huge mark-up. Homecom came up on my searches for some weeks but because I'd never heard of them I discounted them several times. The price always looked attractive but there was still that nagging doubt in my mind. In the end I decided to bite the bullet and give them a shot. Glad I did!
So with my expectations set I duely ordered and having read a few of the reviews wondered if the goods would a) turn up, b) come within a reasonable time and c) live up to my newly lowered expectations. At this point I must offer my sincere appologies to Homcom. Having worked in ecommerce for over a decade I normally pride myself at being able to spot a troubled transaction before it starts (thankfully I chose to avoid Paypal and all the trouble and delay they introduce) but in this instance I couldn't have been more wrong. I ordered late on Tuesday and the goods were delivered, exactly as described, on the Thursday. I even called on the Wednesday for the tracking details of my order (as I know TNT in my area can be a little hit and miss). The call was answered within 3 rings and the lady on the phone handled my request efficiently and politely.
The set itself comes packed in three large boxes, One containing the ottoman and table, the other two containing a chair and corner chair each. Everything was packed well and the instructions, while a little sparce on wording, were very simple to follow. I would recommend a 10mm socket set as the bolts do require a lot of turns on them to get them tight. Also on that point, do exactly as the instructions say and only lightly tighten the bolts as you get the shape of each part together. Then when everything is together go back around and tighten everything up. I had only 1 bolt that was hard to fit and that wasn't because of the alignment, more the length of the bolt. I simply clamped the parts using a hand clamp and then inserted the bolt. In all it took me about an hour to build the set and that was with a few stops due to a rain shower or two.
The end result is as good as, if not better, than that which I've seen in my local garden centres. And the best bit being I paid probably 50% the asking price! Only time will tell if the set holds up to use, but being aluminium and PE rattan I can't see anything other than abuse causing it to fail prematurely. Roll on the sunshine!
I was after a fire pit for something different. Having seen one I liked on eBay, I searched the net and found that Homcom had it for half the price! I placed an order, and within two days it was delivered free of charge.
The product is of excellent quality and was fantastic value. I would recommend Homcom to anyone.
I just went to purchase another Rattan Garden Furniture Sofa Set 4 Pieces In Black 217cm x 75cm as I loved it so much but found they have increased the price by around £150!
I bought the sofa at £350 only 2 weeks ago, it got reduced to £309 very soon after so I went to purchase it at this price, but now its £467?! And it seems they have increased all their item prices buy £100+!
Sure, it wouldn't be a surprise if they said it was a sale price. Some items had reductions but never ONCE on this item did they say it was a sale price. If I had known, I wouldv'e bought the item as soon as I saw it was on sale.
I am being forced to take my custom elsewhere now!
I placed an order with this company on 14th April and expected to receive my goods within 3-5 working days as stated on their website. I paid for my goods through Paypal when my order was placed. However, when I had not received my goods by the 20th April, I contacted the company. At the same time as telephoning them, I checked my emails and found an email from HomCom dated 19th April telling me that the item I ordered was out of stock and sorry for any inconvenience.
As far as I am concerned, this is disgusting. If the item I ordered was not in stock,then a sale should not have been made. I could have then placed the order from another company. This company took my money for an item they knew they did not have when it was ordered. I had to wait a whole week before finding out the item was out of stock. Now my business is affected and I am losing money and will now be without the item for a further week!
I would NOT recommend this company if you require your item within the 3 - 5 days they say it will arrive!!
first time I have ordered from Homcom, must say not only was I impressed with the price my order arrived quickly and well packaged, as a business owner myself I know how important all these things are, would I use them again Yes without a doubt.
