The price was the lowest we found on the interweb,delivered on the day they said .They were a bit late but the driver kept us informed and it wasn't a problem, and they removed all packing.Well it makes a refreshing change to get something when promised well done.
A Great price and with free delivery was even better. Called to let us know what day to deliver and then called again to let us know a 3 hour time slot which was amazing, so we didn't have to hand around at home. The drivers even called us 30-45 minutes before to let us know they were almost there. Delivery men were great, unpacked and placed the fridge freezer exactly where we wanted it an all great, would definitely recommend it and would use again
I have to admit - I didn't get what I ordered. The item I ordered had been discontinued according to the vendor so I was offered the closest alternative for £10 more but still over £50 cheaper than anyone else so I accepted.
Delivery is quirky - money is taken immediately but delivery is not guaranteed and you have to sit and wait for a phone call to confirm when things are going to be delivered. If you phone before this you get told off!
All in its a small firm and not a large retailer so they've not got the slick service but they deliver themselves, the product was in tip top condition, I was phoned prior to delivery to confirm and my old appliance was removed quickly so I'd recommend HomeGoods again.
A little bit miffed that they still have the old appliance on their website and that they gave my email address to a third party without my permission though. One star off is for that.
We got the delivery on the day I specified, although between 7 -9 a.m. meant an early rise. There was a problem but we were phoned that the delivery would be late.
The van men were helpful and took the old freezer as agreed. However, the new one has a scratch and a dent. We were having a new kitchen put in and the fitters needed to site the new freezer that day, so we accepted it and pointed out the damage.
WE ARE SURPRISED TO HAVE HAD NO COMMUNICATION FROM HOMEGOODS ABOUT THIS TO DATE and would appreciate an immediate response.
Haven't had the goods delivered yet, as we wanted to delay delivery. But the courier company contacted us within 2 days of ordering. So if anything goes wrong from this point, it won't be down to Homegoods, so I would have no hesitation in recomending them.
The whole process was easy to manage. Good follow-up, delivery at a time to suit us, fridge-freezer delivered on time. I would definitely recommend and use Homegoods again.

I did some research into the best vacuum cleaner for my newly diagnosed dust mite allergy and the Miele S6240 got very good reviews. I also did some research on Homegoods performance and the reviews were good.
Ordering through the Homegoods website was easy and I requested delivery to my work as my wife and I work full time. Homegoods carried out a simple verification process to ensure that the the order was legitimate as the card and delivery addresses were different. I was told over the phone that the vacuum would be with me the next day. It was. Simple.
My order was acknowledged promptly. The sales document was issued soon after for my review and records.The change to the anticipated delivery date was communicated in advance, so that I was not inconvenienced. My email requesting information on warranty registration on the manufacturer's site was replied to quickly and the instructions given were exact; making the process easy.
Placed my electrical order with this Company, and i recieved an email confirming my order within a short period giving me confidence. Homegoods then emailed me to explain that once the order had been dispatched they would contact me again to confirm the delivery date. They emailed me some days later, and my order arrived by their courier Federal Express the next day without any problems. Excellent Service I would have no hesitation is using their company again.
My vacuum arrived within 3 working days after ordering in good condition. It is an excellent product.
There was a small misunderstanding due to an automated email received after ordering which sent an 'Electronic Sales Document' with instructions to arrange a delivery date despite the 'ad' saying delivery within 2 -5 working days. It turns out this email does not apply to 'small items' such as a vacuum cleaner.
However, the email fails to mention it applies only to larger appliances where delivery dates and time slots are arranged and did cause confusion.

There was a catch with my order in that it turned out not to be available from the manufacturers any more. However, Max at Homegoods got in touch and gave me a competetive price for the manufacturers latest version and got it delivered within a couple of days.
Apart from that slight irritation of being able to order an End Of Lined article in the first place, I was very pleased with the Homegoods responsiveness.
Bought an expensive dishwasher from this company at the best price I could find in the UK. Immediate contact to inform me that whilst the machine was fine the box was damaged and offered a small discount or simple cancellation as it was last in stock. Former accepted and delivery date agreed, machine arrived on time with 2 guys to carry it in and offer of inspection. Nothing more I could ask for from a supplier so 5 star for this transaction.

One small niggle. We wanted the t/d urgently. There was silence, then we received a letter by post saying they'd been trying to call me; but both mobile & landline showed no missed calls. Then took another 4 days to deliver. Frustrating.
But if the lowest price, would definately buy from them again.

I ordered the goods at lunchtime and they were with me first thing next morning. The goods were well packaged and in perfect condition and it was cheaper than anywhere else. I couldn't ask for more. If this is the usual standard of service I'd highly recommend Homegoods to anyone.
I ordered a vacuum cleaner January 9th. I did on the basis of price ( from a comparison site) and availability. Homegoods said that they had the item in stock and that it would be delivered in 3-5 days. It is now Jan 23 and it still has not arrived. I have recieved one phone call early on to confirm order but had to phone them myself to query the time it was taking to deliver.
The people are very courteous but the promise and reality do not match up.
Ordered microwave 06 01 12,it is now 21 01 12 and we have heard nothing! We phoned yesterday and spoke to what seemed a very nice man who told us we would receive a phone call in the afternoon to arrange delivery after the weekend,and we are still waiting.It is difficult to review the situation when there is nothing to review only silence.
It is simple - I searched the internet for the best price of the applicance I had already decided I wanted. The Homegoods price was quite significantly better than any other competitor, John Lewis included. I got a phone call to confirm delivery and the appliance was delivered as agreed. I confess, I still haven't taken it out of the sturdy box (in the middle of house development) so cannot yet confirm if it works! However, so far very happy.
Our dishwasher was ordered and an acknowledgement sent.
We were phoned with a delivery date shortly after, with a promise that someone wpould call the day before delivery and give us a time window - they did. Just for good measure the lads making the delivery called to let us know that they would be at the house within the hour - they were (almost to the minute).
Top marks for this company, I would use them again without hesitation.
As far as the purchase of the Microwave was concerned there were no problems though the time between purchase and delivery was not particularly quick. However when we had a problem with the item ( faulty turntable motor) Homegoods did not seem interested in providing an after sales service apart from supplying us with the tel no of the Bosch repair service.
I don't really expect to be asked for a review when my transaction with HomeGoods was cancelled by them once they decided that they didn't actually have any stock after all. This was after they had taken payment and sent s confirmation email. Very poor communication, no real apology for messing me about so close to Christmas...overall, very disappointing.
The item on the website is listed as a HG-GSD34N01GB which had a lever handle - I believe that is what the picture shows, it is certainly different from the Bosch catalogue picture. There we are, we'll just have to agree to disagree - hope my refund comes soon!
