To be honest when I first went to the site, I didn't think it was genuine, as the prices were low but the website didn't look very professional. I did some reasearch and found mainly good feedback.. To which I am happy to add.
The service was second to none. Ordered my item and after a few days was able to use the online chat (which I have to say is excellent) to enquire when the item would arrive. within minutes I had a reply, and what surprised me even more it did arrive the following Monday.
Would highly recommend, and hope to use again..
Good price, (excellent security/frad prevention measures) friendly staff and execellent delivery procedure, was kept up to date all throught the process from order to delivery. We were given a 2 hour time slot of between 7am and 9am, delivered and unpacked by 7.30am.
We will definitely use (and recommend to others) again.
Acceptable, nothing more or less. On your paper work it stated that we would be telephoned and given a slot for our goods to arrive. We received no communications from you at all, just a knock on the door and there were the goods. LUCKILY, we were in but that is not the point.
Not impressed, you should take a page out of John Lewis's book and see how they perform. You don't even get a 1.
By far the cheapest option for my Miele tumble dryer, undercutting big retailers by £140! Fantastic customer service, phone calls to confirm a convenient time to deliver (well within the stated delivery time scale) and a call from the driver on the day to say they were on their way! Highly recommended! Will definitely use this company again.
Very good price,prompt contact, delivery day given in plenty of time morning or afternoon slot given then 2 hour slot given on day , and driver rang to confirm exact time , excellent. Goods in perfect condition.
Only used it over the past 7 days - found it to be, so far, an
excellent vacuum cleaner. Easy to use and hopefully economic burning the electricity. Have to use it myself as honourable wife is
'medically downgraded' - but she has said, 'It looks lovely'. I see no problems using it and it will, hopefully, give many years of
service. Good price, easy booking the sale and good delivery time.
Extremely helpful service: when we discovered the hob I wanted had been discontinued, Homegoods took endless trouble firstly in trying to track it down anyway, and secondly in suggesting and locating an alternative. The hob came swiftly, was well packaged and as described. Exemplary service; I would recommend this company, and I would use it again.
Early during the 2 hour window for delivery, the driver phoned to say they expected to arrive in 30 minutes time. They arrived 30 minutes later with the goods which they unpacked and then left together with all the packaging materials. A 1st class service.
Our new washer dryer was delivered in the two hour arranged time slot. The guys who delivered it, unpacked it, took out the travelling rods, and explained about the water and hose connections. Great job Homegoods.
Waited for 14 days for item ordered and nothing heard. On checking I was told the item was not in stock and would not be restocked for another 2 weeks - would have been nice to have been informed. Item arrived as stated 4 weeks after ordering, but was the wrong item. Advised them immediately and the correct item was delivered the next day to Scotland and the wrong item uplifted.
Their website said "delivery 5-7 working days". No contact after 7 days, so I emailed them. Response was that one item was available week commencing the 7th "as they are In production as we speak". I then had a phone call asking what our opening times were and I said 8am to 4 pm. On the 1st November they called to say the goods would be delivered "between 3 and 5pm on the 3rd November", but I said that was no good as we close at 4. They said someone would ring me back but they never did.
The goods were delivered at 10 to 5 on the 3rd - luckily my husband had to work late that day and was available to receive the goods.
Where did they go wrong? They didn't let me know that there was a delay on one item. I had ordered from them because their website said 5 to 7 days and that was critical with this order. They didn't listen when I said delivery after 4pm was no good and they didn't ring me back when they said they would. Then they go ahead and deliver anyway !
P.S. I had a call today (4th) to say they'd be delivering next week before 4pm !
I nearly always shop at John Lewis but found this outlet to be cheaper and thought I would give it a go. I had no complaints at all, the service was quick and efficient and they kept me informed on what was going on at all times. I would definitely use them again.
We ordered from Homegoods because they offered the lowest price on the fridge we wanted and promised rapid delivery. We were entirely satisfied with their performance, including their willingness to schedule the delivery.
I was really pleased to get this miele at such a good price. I ordered it to replace another Miele which lated me for more years than I can remember. It is lighter and easier to move around than my old one. The only quible is that the cord is not as long. I was very impressed with the speed of delivery and would use the company again
Ordered a SMEG fridge online, had a quick response to let us know that teh model number had changed and would this new model be acceptable which it was, the order was placed and the week before delivery we had a date confirmed and the day before we had the 2 hour time slot confirmed, we even had a call when they were 20mins away which was very good.
Definitely would use and order any items needed from yourselves again.
Item we originally picked had been discontinued by the manafcturer. Was contacted the following day and offered the new model for the same price (which was very competitive). The item was then dispatched and delivered the same week. Excellent.
when we purchased the washing machine from them, we have to ring them so many times and they don't ring back for updates. it takes them so long to give us the answers and at the end they will say that it was a wrong item that was delivered to them wherein the 7-10days has already lapsed. if you need something quick this is not the place for you to purchase.
My Whirlpool microwave arrived by return of post!! I ordered it, on line, late on a Monday morning and at teatime on Tuesday I was cooking the evening meal in it!!
How's that for a fast service, and from one end of the country to the other? It arrived, as described, perfectly packaged, all in order.
Just slightly disappointed that there was no recipe book with the microwave. But that would be a complaint to Whirlpool, not your company.
We ordered a dishwasher and were phoned to discuss the next available delivery date. I was very happy with the date suggested and was told I would be phoned with an hours notice. The driver rang top confirm and then rang several times to let us know he was stuck in traffic and to double check details (he had the wrong ending to the postcode so had gone to an address a few streets down). No matter since he was efficient, polite and helpful. When he realised the dishwasher wouldn't fit through the door with the packaging, he unpacked it for us and took the rubbish away. No complaints at all. I wish all deliveries were this straightforward. I wouldn't hesitate to use this company again and will recommend to my friends. Best price too!
