Acceptable service even though goods took some time to be delivered. Will use again.
I ordered a kitchen sink from the Homegoods website and paid by credit card. I received an email confirming the sale and stating that I would be contacted to arrange delivery in 4-5 days.
I heard nothing for 10 days so called Homegoods to check on progress. The staff member said that they would check and phone back. They did not. This happened three times.
On my fourth attempt, over two weeks later, a staff member called 'Max' admitted that the item was not available and had actually not been avaliable for several months. This had not prevented the firm from listing the item on its website or from taking my payment. 'Max' also failed to return my call as promised, and was incredibly rude when I called him back!
Only when I managed to speak to a man called Selton, who identified himself as the owner of Homegoods, did I finally get my payment refunded.
An appalling level of service. Avoid this firm.
The whole transaction was straight forward.ordered online on a Sunday and recived phone call on the Tuesday rather than the 4-5 days stated on their web-site.Courier service rang on the Friday as promised to confirm delivery the following Monday.Item was delivered within the time slot given.
Ordered a Leibherr wine fridge which was processed and delivered in a timely fashion as stated on the order. There was one minor hitch, whereby their logistics subcontractor could not deliver at the pre-agreed time so homegoods fixed this by delivering themselves.
Would recommend and use again.
This transaction was the first with the company. I found the company via the Which magazine. I had no problems with the website and delivery of the ordered goods was on time. I would have no hesitation in using the company again.
Homegoods offered the best price for the product of my choice. It
was very easy to navigate the website. The goods were exactly as described and were dispatched promptly.
The only minor flaw was with Parcelforce who seemed to take somewhat longer than needed to deliver the goods.
GOT A GREAT DEAL FROM HOMEGOODS ON THE NET ONLY TO FIND OUT AFTER WAITING 10DAYS FOR DELIVERY ITS BEEN DISCONTINUED FOR 6MONTHS IT WOULD HAVE BEEN GREAT IF THAY HAD TOLD ME STILL THAY SAID THAT IT WILL BE SORTED OUT SOON I WILL HAVE TO SEE!
The website was very good, the price very good and the service was better than promised - we ordered on Thursday and received on Monday. The Miele vacuum cleaner is fantastic and does a superb job! We are very happy with the purchase and would recommend Homegoods and use them again ourselves.
I have never used this company before so I do not very much about them. I do not like shopping on line, but i have recently had a major operation on my ankle. Plus i want a red washing machine which is impossible to buy from large and well known electrical stores. I order it about a month ago and I am still waiting to have it delivered. I have chased them up with them telling me that it is waiting for the company to make one. Why then advertise one on their site saying delivery between 2 to 5 days
Hi there, well you can imagine my horror when my hoover failed to work! Hubby had it in bits, but still no joy!! Being unable to hoover was making me cross.
Found an excellant hoover with good write-up, and the best part was it was cheaper from HOMEGOODS. Delivery was within, I think, five working days, so you can imagine my delight when it arrived within two!!!
So, all in all, I would certainly recommend HOMEGOODS to you. See you later.
Bought a SIEMENS SN66M030GB 6 programmes including 1 auto programme dishwasher and it is the dogs!!! Quietest dishwasher ever. Love the red dot light function as it is the only way you know the washer is running!!
Bought it at a bargin price as well!! Spot on gents!!!
I went on the internet (Which.co.uk) to find a quality dishwasher at an affordable price as I also had to replace a microwave and repair a fridgefreezer in the same week so when I found the Whirlpool model at least £200 cheaper than other models that were also highly rated I was very impressed. Homegoods informed me that the model I wanted was discontinued but suggested a replacement that was equally good and quoted the same value for money price. I explained that I was desperate as my old machine had packed up completely and they arranged delivery 3 days later. Altogether a thoroughly painless process that resulted in a great product delivered at a great price from a professional retailer offering a superb service.
After waiting one full week! and hearing nothing, sent email to be told machine no longer available but upgraded to new model "at no extra cost", oh really, problem is, I could have bought THAT machine about £80.00 cheaper elsewhere?
Asked for refund, which to be fair, was issued in 10 minutes with no questions asked.
I first bought a Miele washing machine though homegoods.
Service was excellent. They have online answering system.I didn't have to go through long automated answering system and gave me a refund immediately for old machine disposal.
Delivery was on time as they told me. Everything went so smooth and the price was really compatible. So i didn't hesitate to make another order for dishwasher next time.

We bought Miele washing machine for £1,400.00 from them with additional £25.00 for connection. Yet when they brought it the washer's connectors were German and our kitchen's, naturally, UK. They were not able to connect the machine. We cancelled the order.
Never ever anything from them!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Avoid.
Ordered an item was told it was out of stock but i could get upgrade for same price so accepted. It was due to be delivered on the Thursday but no show so phoned to be told the model had arrived faulty so was never sent. No explanation why they could not call or email and wife wasted a day waiting. They said the hoover would be with us on Tuesday the following week, again Tuesday came and went with no show. Called again to be told order had been lost in system so cancelled order. I had to chase up twice to get refunded money which took 10 days. Cowboy outfit, avoid!
