I enrolled in January 2013. I wanted to build myself a new career and having done online learning in the past felt this was a good option. How wrong was I. I was talked into signing up for two courses by the 'student support agent', a salesman I now know. I wish I hadnt. I have completed my level 2 AAT accounts course but only with major complaints to HLC and one to one support from the department deputy. I cannot get out of level 3 and will have to continue as it is costing me a great deal of money. The website is extremely confusing. It takes weeks to sit an exam by which time what has been learnt gets forgotten. It is impossible to complete both courses in 6 months because of this as I was told at the beginning. There are errors in the books and answers are often missing or wrong. I would never recommend them. CB1360874

We are sorry to hear you feel let down by the course.
Our Course Advisors are there to give you the chance for a detailed discussion about the course and study options available to you, and we can only apologise if you experienced something different. To address your concern about the website, we are aware that some students can find the Virtual Learning Community difficult to navigate at times and are currently in the process of upgrading the learning platform to provide a far more user friendly VLC. However, if you need any help in the interim, the quick-start video guide on the homepage will guide you through the different areas on the site. Our Student Services team are always happy to offer further help if you need it.
In response to your concern about booking exams, we advise up front that students arrange for their exams to be booked 2 months in advance, as this must be coordinated with AAT. Furthermore, AAT Levels 2 & 3 have a typical completion time of 2 years, but we do provide 3 years tutorial support to accommodate distance learning students that may require a little more time. This is stated clearly on the website and should have been made clear to you by your Course Advisor.
Without full details, we are unable to comment on your case further, however we would welcome the chance to discuss your complaint further and see if we can find a resolution. We encourage you to contact our student services team on email@example.com or on 020 8080 6490, so we can fully address and resolve the issues raised.
