I notice the website for this company is 'under maintenance'. I hope this means it will no longer be used to take orders and money for furniture which will never be delivered or refunded. I have been appalled to keep reading reviews from others like me who are considerably out of pocket because of the unfair trading practices of the owner of this company.

BUYER BEWARE - do not use this company!

Ordered bed for my daughter's birthday. It arrived in good time, 20 Oct but unfortunately damaged in many places. Added to this the bed did not look new and had scratches over the frame. I contacted Furnishing Homes and requested collect for refund. It is now 3 Nov and I still have no collection date from them. I have received emails saying I have to wait 30 days! This is poor customer service yet they have the ISIS logos to say provide excellent service. The telephone no. on website is never answered. They have a email link to Furnishing Homes co.uk who also have poor reviews. If anyone can give me more information about company, please let me know as want to report to Watchdog and Trading Standards.

False Promises ! - Hard to resolve difficulty

I ordered new bedroom furniture on 28th June. Right away I was told that I had to wait 2 weeks for the bed to come into stock. Not a problem I thought. Two weeks passed and I contacted them to ask when delivery would be expected. Many emails later no specific dates given. Explained that I would only be at home until the end of July then was going on holiday. Company advised they were confident they would achieve delivery date for end of July complying with their 5 -15 days promise. By the beginning of August still nothing. No exact date given. Every time I have emailed I have not been given a straight answer. Beginning to think they have my money and no longer care. I gave them one final delivery date of tomorrow which is the only day there will be someone at home to collect. Asked them to confirm that this was going to be achieved. Again I got a " we are confident that this will be the case, but cannot be fully certain until the goods were with the courier company". I asked them to confirm when the courier uplifted the items for despatch and despite two more emails I have not even had a response to that.
Should my husband wait in all day tomorrow in vain ? Not sure I trust this Company At all. Think they have the money and no longer care if I receive my items. Very disappointed and wish I had gone for a more local Company who promised delivery in 10 days or I could pick up. I specifically asked for confirmation that 20th August would be achieved on the 8th August before I went on holiday otherwise I would travel to Glasgow to pick up from alternative supplier. Again went round the houses and still kept saying should be okay. Will wait till tomorrow and if nothing will be looking for immediate refund and will go to a more trustworthy supplier. I believe I know why they dont have a phone number - looks of things they would be bombarded with disappointed customers. If my items are delivered tomorrow will gladly update but not feeling confident at the minute.
UPDATE: The furniture didnt arrive and I dont even think it had left. Contacted them and asked for refund. Apparently it has been generated but hope dont have to wait 8 weeks for that to reach me.
Ordered from UHS online instead who gave a delivery date of 3 days time - now that is what I call service.

Buyers beware

Buyers beware you cannot telephone this company with complaints and this is the response to my order after 2 weeks. I have received
nothing except false promises, no replies and lies.
Emails from this company.

· 29th June delivery for ex stock parts 5-15 working days.
· Will supply you a delivery date on 2 or 3rd July as we are aware you require stock items urgently. No response
· Contacted the company again 5th July and they stated the delivery driver will contact you 24-72 hours prior to delivery to arrange a delivery date.
· Yet gain no contact from the driver or company.
· Sent another email to the company - have experienced a series of difficulties with collection of an item from one supplier, We aim to deliver your order on the 26th of July, without any further delay.
