Excellent value for money
The website is easy to navigate, I got a good price for my booking, I needed to contact them on order to make an enquiry and I received a response providing sufficient information and promptly enough, the staff was helpful, they sent me an e-mail two days before I was due to depart or so in order to make sure I did not forget I have booked a room with them, I had no problems at all when I got to the hotel and gave the hotel staff the documents supplied by Hotel Direct with the reference numbers and so on, just one thing, I have the feeling I have already provided feedback on Hotel Direct, you may have asked me twice. Never mind.

Hotel Direct - very professional service. Would recommend Hotel Direct to everyone. Our city break went without a hitch thanks to Hotel Direct who also arrange our theatre tickets for us. Excellent service cannot fault them, 5 star plus rating.

Initial booking very good. but did not get email and was not given booking reference.(sent to wrong address) and when i phoned back they couldnt initially find booking and told me i had phoned wrong number and that i did not book with them! they did find it (big sign of relief). Then got email and a email day before to advise all ok with booking. However when got to hotel on check in first of all said no room available!

Paying a cancellation fee is very antiquated and should be updated , especially when you give 3 days notice. As a frequent traveller, worldwide, this is the first time that I have encountered a cancellation fee from any hotel or agency that I have booked through.

Uncomplicated and efficient
I have just returned from a trip to Paris and booked a hotel through the Hotel Direct site. I was able to find a very good, and reasonably priced hotel in Paris (Champerret Elyssey, Avenue de Villiers) which I would recommend to anyone.
I had absolutely no problems using Hotel Direct and indeed was glad of the information and easy to follow details sent to us to get from airport to hotel with little fuss.
This is the first time we have used Hotel Direct, but will definitely have no hesitation in using both the site and the hotel again.

Easy, efficient and effective
I phoned last minute to book a hotel in London, The
operator I spoke to was friendly, helpful and efficient and in less
than two minutes I had secured a booking. The Hotel was good quality, well located and a good price.
I had tried to book with a couple of companies online without success, although they took my booking at an advertised price they then emailed back they did not have the room available unless I paid a much higher price - annoying and frustrating.

loved the facilities, great weekend.
The staff were courtious and helpful, the swimming, sauna and steam room were lovely, and clean. The breakfast was delicious and the premier room was basic but spacious and clean, we had a really enjoyable weekend.

Hotmail/Internet wouldn't work but staff did !
Booked with a very efficient and helpful member of staff who when I rang back and said I hadn't recieved confirmation to take with me to hotel promised to send it in the post , confirmation was recieved in post next day. What was promised actually happened which was great as I dont travel much and havent used this type of site before . Will definately use again and recommend to others. Thanks

If anyone tells you the web is the best place to book a hotel because it gives you best pricing etc. then think again. Hotel Direct offer a web service and a fantastic person to person telephone service. Friendly, honest and more than helpful.
Seriously, use the phone, talk to them and get the best possible deal in the best hotel.
