This is a fantastic company, you can be guaranteed great advice and brilliant customer service from an experienced and friendly team. We upgraded our tub last year and also moved recently and Hot Tub Barn have been organised and efficient. We would not consider going anywhere else due to the quality of the products and service Hot Tub Barn provides.
We came to Hot-Tub Barn after a number of disappointments with hot tubs through other companies, that led to us abandoning our old tub, and looking for a new one. Our biggest problem with previous companies had been a complete lack support, so our main priority was after-service – more than just the price.
We found Hot-Tub barn through an Internet search, and immediately were in the care of Ruth. I was struck by her helpfulness, and the time she took, and found this very refreshing after previous experiences. We spent some considerable time on the telephone in the initial stages, but Ruth strongly recommended a visit to one of their retail outlets, so this is what we did.
We travelled to Knockholt showroom and met with Ruth, who helped us to fine-tune the hot-tub that would be suitable for us. This was all very relaxed and easy, and our hot-tub was ordered and arrived a few weeks later in the summer of 2011.
Ruth had also recommended Gary to help us re-enforce our decking, even though Gary does not directly work for the company. He was incredibly helpful, as were the installers – who took any anxiety away about how to get the tub into its new location and how to dispose of the old one, which they took away at no cost.
The support I have received since has been truly outstanding. Ruth made herself available via her mobile and office numbers, at any time of day, to help with chemicals and water balancing and any other things needed. She even helped out of any normal working hours, and this was just so appreciated after some of lack of help before.
Nine months later, and this help and support continues. Hot-tub barn feel more like familiar friends than a business, and I have had the pleasure of dealing with several people in the company now. But the best part of all, and I’m still not quite sure why, is that having compared all my electricity bills for comparable periods over the last year, my electricity costs are static, even slightly lower than previous periods – even though the tub has been running 24/7, and despite increases in electric utility costs. Quite how this can be, I don’t know, but it shows that the Hotspring range of tubs (and mine is an Aria) are incredibly economical to run. Its not even shown up on my bill yet! The hot tub itself is beautifully made and very stylish. It’s a great compliment to the house and gardens.
I can honestly say that Hot-Tub barn are one of my top 5 companies I have ever dealt with, and all and any concerns I once had about a lack of after-care and support are long gone. Thank you Hot-Tub barn, for making this purchase a truly great one.

Ive had my soverign hot tub for over a year now and it has made a huge difference to my life. I suffer from arthritis and a bone condition. Using the hottubbarn has made such a difference. At first I was worried about maintance but It is so easy to look after. I just get out click the clean cycle and it does the rest. The after sales is excellent as well so can't recommend this enough
Glenn was a total professional and was a pleasure to have in our home working on the hot tub. The work was done in great time, and looked fantastic afterwards. No complaints at all!
We thought about having a hot tub for many years and looked at several different makes.
We finally decided that we prefered Hot Springs and went to the Hot Tub Barn in Chelmsford to have a better look .
We visited several times as it was a large purchase and we wanted to be sure.
We were invited to have a wet test which we did, and we were never hurried or made to feel that we were in the way or taking up to much time.
We dont know of any other company that offer a test in privacy and most are in the middle of some public garden centre!
We needed a crane to lift the tub over our house as we had no access. The crane company recommended by Hot Tub Barn proved to be excellent.
The Hot Tub Barn fitters turned up on time, were polite and worked well.
We have had to phone for advice on several occasions since installation and have always been given all the advice we needed and have always found the staff to be polite and helpful.
The only complaint we had was that we waited longer than expected to have the tub, but we do understand that this was out of Hot Tub Barns control, and the delay was with the supplier in Canada.

The HotSpring hot tubs we sell are manufactured in the USA and are transported to the UK via the Panama Canal, which is currently being modified to increase shipping capacity. Understandably this is causing some disruption to regular shipping flows, an issue which was further exacerbated by a one-day workers strike on the Canal at the time your spa was in transit.
Have recently purchased an Envoy Hotspring Tub and could not be more delighted.
The staff at the Hot Tub Barn have been extremely helpful and Stephanie certainly knew what she was talking about.
We did have a slight problem with getting the hot tub into our garden but eventually a new route was discovered through our neighbours gardens and all was resolved. A big thank you to the two Daves who were very helpful and patient.
Looking forward to a lot of good times in our Tub.

Whenever I have a query no matter how small,I get a friendly person on the end of the phone who will help me. If they can't then they know a person who can. When I first had my fab hot tub a year ago I was worried I would put too much chemicals in or not enough. I would phone Ruth at the Chelmsford office and she would talk things through to me in simple form. She always seemed pleased to help even on a day to day basis. I feel that she is one of my friends as I have spoken to her so much. Thank for all your help Ruth and all the other team members that have helped too.

A year ago I purchased a hot tub from Hot tub Barn. I must admit when you buy a product and are told of the customer service you always tend to think "yeah right" until I came to use them. I must say with this company if I have ever needed to use them they are true to their word. They are quick to respond, efficient and extremely polite.
We purchased a hot tub from Martyn at Hot Tub Barn at Ashford and from the day we purchased until today the service from him has been excellent. The hot tub is of good quality and has given us and our family many hours of fun summer and winter. It is easy to maintain and if we have any problems Martyn is only too willing to assist and if neccessary will come to us to sort the problem out. Nothing is too much trouble and the staff are always polite and welcoming so if you are considering purchasing a hot tub Hot Tub Barn is the place to go and when we wish to upgrade we will. have no hesitation in purchasing from Hot Tub Barn again
Had the engineers out a couple of times to fix my spa. One time I was at work and he kept in constant contact via mobile asking my permission before he undertook any work. Each time they have been I have always been very pleased with their work, attitude and their hot spring knowledge. Great guys.
After experiencing problems with another hot tub company we turned to Hot Tub Barn for help.
The staff on the phone and the engineer Wayne explained everything fully including showing me what he was doing as he went along.
I was very impressed with the level of service provided and will not use any other company for future problems.
Had a problem with the Moto Massage Jets.
Wayne Hitchcock the engineer telephoned us at 9.00am with an approx arrival time.
Wayne arrived before estimated time.
As he was repairing the Moto Massage I mentioned another problem that we had been having, Wayne advised us what he thought the problem would be & fitted new parts free of charge all under warranty - First Class Service.
I've purchased products from Hot Tub Barn a few times now and although we inherited our hot tub if I ever needed to replace it i'd definately buy one from here.

We have recently been experiencing problems with cloudy water and sanitisation of SPA water. The customer service we received was excellent and all of questions were answered with step by step processes and tips for maintaining the water quality of our SPA. We were only advised of products to purchase that we actually required.
We have filled the SPA, PH, Alkalinity and Free Cholorine are now spot on, can't wait to use it.. We have had our exisitng SPA for several years and will definately purchase another.
We looked at several places to buy our Hot Tubs but the reason we settled with Hot Tub Barn was as they seemed knowledgable, trustworthy and high quality. We dealt with Steph and Ruth in the shop who were friendly, helpful and gave great advice, not seeming to want to make you buy the most expensive product but helping you to find the perfect tub for you. Nothing we asked or our many phonecalls to them seemed too much trouble!
After ordering, the delivery was all straightforward and the set up of it, fairly quick and stress free. Dave and Dave despite having questionable taste in football, were friendly, helpful and easy to have around.
We are so happy with our Hotspring Vanguard and really feel we made the right choice for us. We have been in nearly every day and cant quite believe the luxury in our garden! The kids also love their 'swimming pool'.
Looking for a replacement filter for your hot tub is not so straight forward and can become confusing. Hot Tub Barn's site was so simple to navigate plus it was well priced that I was happy to find it having searched a few other Suppliers.
Even better still was the speed of delivery which was 2 days and the Company even e-mails you an update as to when they have posted it.
I'll be back again for my chemicals as their web service was excellent.

Since buying a reconditioned hot tub, we have used Hot Tub Barn for servicing, within the warranty period and they could not have been more helpful. Efficient, professional and useful advice. The staff at Bybrook Barn have also been very helpful and courteous when buying cleaning materials, etc.
I could not reccommend this firm to anyone highly enough !!!

I feel I was given a good service even though my tub was expensive to repair. My fault for leaving it off during the winter?
Our hottub is now over 10 years old and starting to need new bits. Hot Tub have been very helpful and delivery of my items quick. Very happy overall.
This was the first time we had a service and Shaun took the time to explain lots of things about the hot tub that we did not know. He also advised us how to properly clean the tub, (something that we had not been doing correctly. in all it was money well spent. Shaun was polite and an excellent ambassador for Hot Tubs. A service we would definitely use again.
I had two leaks from my pool, from the drain valve & the circulation pump. The response to my initial phone call to Hot Tub Barn was to charge me £99 for a call-out to look at the problems. This simply confirmed the leaks & I was subsequently quoted £750 to replace the pump & drain valve. Replacing the valve was roughly half the total & seemed particularly high as I knew the cost I could get the parts for. The response was a take it or leave it ‘you can do it yourself if you want to’!
I called back to discuss an idea I had for a cheaper alternative to replacing the valve. This time it was the owner who answered & he could not have been more helpful. He told me my solution would be fine. He would replace the pump for just the cost of the pump, around £250, ‘as the call-out charge had already paid for the labour’. In addition, they would fit the parts to solve the valve leak at the same time, if I obtained the parts myself (which I did at a cost of under £10).
In addition, during the second visit the people from Hot Tub Barn noticed a problem with one of the covers & fixed it, again at no additional cost.
So, after being very unhappy about how I was treated initially, this was partially mitigated by the final outcome.
I called Hot Tub Barn to order some chemicals, and spoke to Gail. She was very helpful, not only pointing out that there were special offers on some of the items that I wanted, but also telling me about a new product (that I wouldn't have known about otherwise), which was available at a very reasonable price. She emailed me details of how to use it, and was also able to give me the answers to a couple of queries when I called back. The order itself was delivered the next day. Couldn't have been better!
Shaun and Wayne arrived to service our hot tub perfectly on time and with the right parts that needed replacing. They knew exactly what needed doing and set about the service quickly and efficiently. They then cleaned and treated the vinyl cover which had got very grubby over the winter. It now looks brand new! Once the work was complete Shaun took the time to give me lots of advice on changing the water and how, and when, to replace elements of the filtering system. Two very pleasant and knowledgeable gentlemen to work with, so thank you, Shaun and Wayne!
I had a problem with Jets 1 and 2 buttons on my Grandee not working correctly. I was advised to squirt a bit of WD40 in and around the button areas. This advice has really helped. Thank You Hot Tub Barn.
I called Hot Tub Barn out to fix a motor that was not working and carry out a service.
Wayne did a great job. Fixed the motor at a considerable saving and was very thorough with the service. The whole family was very impressed with how clean the hot tub looked after he left.

Since i have purchased my hot tub i have had excellent service. I would like to mention in particular the to service engineers Glen and Shaun. They have delt quickly and efficiently with any problems i have had. I would like also to mention Trevor who is my point of contact in the showroom ,when i have phoned through my queries he has always been able to respond with the correct answer and nothing has been to much trouble many thanks colin white
The service you get is always quick, easy and polite. The staff always 'know their stuff', whether I'm ordering chemicals or wanting technical advice or service. There's a guy there in technical service called Trevor who can't do enough to ensure you're completely satisfied - they better not get rid of him!
Hot Tub Barn listened to my problem and explained the cause and their recommendation,which in my case was a new cover.
They also gave me helpfull advice on how to prolong the use of the cover.
The service engineer Wayne Hitchcock arrived on time was extremely helpfull ,explained the work to be carried out ,he then fitted a new cover and serviced the Hot Tub and gave me advice regarding looking after the tub in between services.
He took away old cover and my Tub now looks like new!

I have had my Hot tub for 6 years and use it nearly every day whatever the weather, the massage jets really help my back problem. I have always had excellent service from all the team at Hot Tub Barn.
We purchased an Hotsprings Envoy from Hot Tub Barn last May. At first it was a little daunting as there are so many different manufacturers, warranties, opinions. I tend to research the detail, probably overly, but to be honest with a pretty large spend and so many different factors, it would be silly not to.
The HotSprings range are never going to be the cheapest, I can't say if they are the best as I haven't tried all the rest. However, I can say that Stephanie and all the folks at Hot Tub Barn were superbly helpful, not in any way pushy, gave a very good initial deal without the need for double glazing sales back and forth, and the product has been excellent.
Today we also found out they do exactly what they initially said they would do as well, which is to provide excellent after sales service. Our ACE chlorine cell unfortunately started playing up. From service department to Shaun the repair chap, folks called, worked a convenient time, kept me updated and changed it without quibble or question. No more than 10minutes of effort on my part and all fixed.
I rarely write reviews, and I am an optimistic sceptic at heart; which basically means I hope for the best but expect to possibly be let down. But when it goes this smoothly then folks really do deserve a few minutes to type a review and congratulate them on a job very well done. Issues happen in life, but it's how they are handled that defines a company.
If you are interested in a hot tub then from our experience both the product and the service both pre and post sale are excellent at Hot Tub Barn.
A dispute with HTB at the outset meant that my expectations of service were low at the time a pump bearing failed after only two and a half years. In the event, I received excellent service! Trevor negotiated with the supplier, ALL the staff were helpful, the appointment was changed flexibly to help me, the fitter (Shaun) called me to let me know a time he would be there - and he was there. They even arranged to bring me some supplies I asked for. I am delighted with our Vanguard, it seems incomparable with other, lesser brands. Disappointed that a pump bearing failed so soon but really grateful to Watkins, HTB, Stephanie, Trevor and Shaun in particular. When it comes to moving, I will be buying our next tub from HTB.
No complaints with the service, or the item, but the postage of £9.80 very expensive, cost Hot Tub Barn £1.90 in postage to send, appreciated there is the staff time and padded envelope, to take into account, but a difference of £8.10 is a bit excessive, wasn't even sent by courier, delievered by normal postman delivery. But too much in my opinion.
Simple ordering process, no delivery charges (£80>) arrives next day. What could be simpler. Should you need to call staff are always very helpful and informative.
