The Engineer Dave Matthews arrived on time and was very efficient at carrying out the 5 year Warranty on my Vanguard Hot Tub. I thought I knew all I needed to know about caring for my tub but Dave was very informative and helpful and I learnt a lot of useful tips, which no other Engineer had ever told me despite this being my 5th service. When my next service is due I will certainly request Dave to be the Engineer.
Dave Matthews arrived at my house mid afternoon as arranged. Found him to be a credit to hot tub barn. Looked over my hot tub for me and answered any questions I had about the running costs chemicals etc. Fitted my replacement cover and made sure it opened and closed ok. Again Hot tub barn I would recommend if you were in the market for a hot tub with after care services.
Hot Tub Barn reacted very quickly to my request for a service and sent an Engineer out the same day.
The Engineer they sent was very knowledgable, friendly and helpful and carried out all the works within the time period stated.

I've used Hot Tub Barn twice. On the first occasion they telephoned me to suggest a way I could pay less and get more - free shipping and hence £15 saving if I spent an extra £5, which I did. The order arrived by overnight delivery. The second order had a complication arising from my ignorance and that was sorted with a quick discussion. I'll stick with them.
Called into the shop at Chelmsford today to pick up some chemicals.....prices were considerably higher than those on line. So, won't bother now to ever call into the shop again. This means Hot Tub Barn will loose the opportunity to sell me anything else that will catch my eye whilst whilst I'm there. I guess this situation really sums up retail in general. If you make on line so attractive that we don't need to visit your shop.....you are likely to loose impulse sales.
I was amazed how easy it was to get my hottub serviced and back in working order. A call to the service department was dealt with efficiently, and the service that suited my needs was quickly organised, along with a new supply of chemicals. On the agreed date, Chris called before 9 to let me know his expected arrival time. On arrival, he was friendly and reassuring when answering my questions. I went back to work, and came home to a fully working , sparklingly clean hottub. If only everything in life was this simple. Thank you Chris.
handle had broken on tub - called as was within 1 year warranty and was told dave could come round the next day - impressive. Dave called as arranged and turned up promptly - took 15 mins to fit new part and then gave some advice on looking after the tub in a hard water area - really good experience.
From the first time we visited the showroom (Stephanie) through to the installation (David and William) and at every stage in between we received excellent customer service. As we knew nothing about hot tubs when we visited the showroom (and certainly had no intention of placing an order so soon!) Stephanie was informative and considerate in terms of advising on the best hot tub to suit our needs - the lack of 'hard sell' was refreshing. We have just had our hot tub installed and we love it! The Hot Tub Barn in Chelmsford did a great job no pushy sales talk, it was all about what we wanted. Ruth Explained all we needed to know about the various models of hot tubs and was able to answer all our questions without any hesitation. We experienced the same level of service from David and William who installed our HotSpring Envoy. With the use of the hi-ab the hot tub was in place within minutes and within a few hours they were showing us how to use and maintain the hot tub.

As customers we had lost that good relationship built up with Hot Tub Barn to the point of placing the order. This was due to a lack of interest in our intallation problems and need for information. All that was wanted was the payment not answers to our problems.
After we had positioned the Spa on Tuesday - next day we received a visit from Dave to connect up the system - he carried out the tasks required quickly and efficiently followed by a comprehensive instuction on the use of the Spa and chemical processes. We recently had a Hotspring Grandee installed by Hot Tub Barn. Everyone we have dealt with, Viv from Ashford in Sales, Wayne and Eleanor in the Service dept and Dave who came along to install and demo, have been excellent. The hot tub is great and I'd definitely recommend Hot Tub Barn to anyone. We were referred to them by a friend ourselves, and having dealt with them I can see why. The customer service, before and after installation, has been spot on.
Dave M and Chris T were fantastic. Our tub had been delivered prior to them installing and had been left in the wrong location. Dave and Chris worked liked Trojans to make sure that they could get our tub up and running. Nothing was too much trouble for them, even though it took them over 2 hours to manouvre into position before they could even begin commissioning! They were polite, fun but respectful - the only downside was the amount of tea they both drank!!
Thanks guys - because of your hard work we now have our fantastic tub, which is the envy of everyone who comes round. We LOVE it. :)
Could not have been easier to order spare parts plus chemicals.
Made up the order to over £80 to get the free delivery but because the transaction contained chemicals i did not get the free carrage.
Dave Matthews serviced my hot tub with care and expertise. He took care to make sure all the jets were functioning properly and gave me advise on hot tub care. A very knowledgeable, friendly and caring approach to hot tub servicing.
I am now on my second Hot tub (over 15 years with you) and cannot imagine not being able to use it on a very regular basis. Winter summer it makes no difference its there in my garden under the sun in summer and stars at night. My five grandchildren live local and have learnt to swim snorkel just use imagination and anything they can think of. We love to sit and relax and now retired we have the time to really enjoy, reading and entertaining friends. I think it can improve your well-being.
A brilliantly quick, smooth installation of my second Hot tub from Hot Tub Barn. Glenn was quick to site the tub on my quite complicated deck and the tub was filled ,installed and sanitised ready to heat in under three hours. 24hrs later the whole family christened the Hot tub with a glass of bubbly in hand , of course !!
After being helpful on the phone it was good to meet Chris in person. He arrived on time, was polite & efficient explaining exactly what he was doing. a 1st class job thank you
We house sat for a friend who owned a hot tub, this was lovely, two weeks of hot tub use, all we had to do in return was feed the cat.......... The cat didn't get much attention though, hot tub, cat, hot tub, cat, mmmmm tough one.
On their return we decided that's what we wanted, we visited two other shops locally, both offered a reasonable service, however their main interest was a sale, not selling what we needed or our ability to get it into the garden.
Martin from ashford was great, we could have brought any hot tub but after a sensible conversation with valid and instructive answered we choose the RELAY, this took less than half an hour for us to be convinced of the quality and back up available for a new-be user.
To our joy Martin came to us two days later and did a survey, this proved positive, one hot tub ordered and paid for.
Apart from Martin, the next part was even better, 15 days from order we were sitting in our nice new tub.
It really is lovely, exactly what we wanted, big enough for a family of 4, but not too big considering its a 6 person tub.
The delivery, couldn't have meet a better class of driver and assistant, nothing was too much trouble, although the tub needed to come via a neighbours garden and over a fence, this didn't matter, polite, helpful and knowledgeable.
It was placed where we wanted, how we wanted it and all rubbish was removed, the only way we knew they were there is the new square thing in the corner......... Ahhhhhhhhhhh lovely.
I seriously would be more than happy to recommend any and all my friends to visit Martin and see the selection, something for everyone.......

My wife has pestered me for a hottub for years and I finally broke. We compared getting a second hand one sold privalty verses going to a supplier. So my wife began dragging me round the suppliers and viewed some through private sellers that fell within our budget.
Hot tub barn were surprisingly competative when you look at the whole package.
Going private sale is a risk as the hout tub is not professionaly checked over and theres no garentee with it, the cover is old and the only chemicals you get is what the owner has. Delivery is another costly consideration.

I could not recommend Hot Tub Barn more highly. They had all I required on a very easy to use website at reasonable prices. I was surprised when the chemicalsI had bought turned up the very next day as I had only ordered the items mid day the day before.
We've been customers for something like ten years and we've always received great service as well as useful and constructive advice. We've found cheaper products elsewhere on the internet but the quality is not the same as here; and in the long run cost us a pump! We're happy to recommend!
The tub arrived on the day sheduled and installed with no fuss. Dave and Chris were friendly efficient and very informative and did an excellent job. The Branch Manager at Ashford, Martyn Gent a pleasure to deal with and a credit to HTB. Delivery and installation without problems. Everything promised delivered in full and on time.
The web site made ordering the correct part by showing the exact part grphically.The only negative is the long lead times on the items not yet delivered and whether or not I have paid up front on these parts 10 weeks before the estimated delivery date.
Although our hot tub is ten years old,ChrisTritton our technician, left it looking as new and working in first class condition.
