I just received the HTC One S from three for my upgrade and I must say it turned out to be BETTER than my expectations. Truly an excellent phone, beats the iPhone any day! It's easy to use, stylish, slim, great camera and just perfect!

If it wasn't for "Force Close" HTC would be perfect in every way possible

HTC's are one of the best phones on the market they are competing at the the very top along side; Apple and Blackberry. the Android market is what really sells them.

I've tried lots of phones recently especially HTC, however my friend has got the I phone 4s and I do prefer it. Yes HTC has got everything and its very good but there is something about the Apple I phone 4s that is different, probably it's because it's so easy to use. I think I’m going to have to swap phones somehow.

HTC Desire - wouldn't change a thing :)

I have the above on contract (about 14 months now) and as the title says - I wouldn't change a thing. My son got one first, he raved about it so much that I got one too. It took me a couple of hours of playing to get used to it but it's so user friendly, you just put everything where you want it, it's basically a pick and mix of the things you love best on the screen.
The screen is large and clear and the photos are crisp and clear. I even watch films on it on iplayer.
When my contract is up I will simply upgrade to a newer HTC. They're brilliant

Good phone but not perfect

I have an HTC Wildfire. It is normally brilliant, but from time to time it freezes, I need to take the battery out and then reset the time and date. Very annoying especially as it happens every week or two.

Otherwise very intuitive phone. Better than my nokia brick

Best Phone Manufacturer

Since the wildfire was brought out, I have never considered using any other phone manufacturer. The design of the handset reassures you that you have a durable and high quality phone. The android operating system is perfect. I have played around on a lot of I Phones and other smart phones, but HTC make other models my different manufacturers just seem like a child's toy. Would recommend if you want a powerful and sleek looking phone without the designer price tag (apple).

We have used multiple HTC devices and currently just swapped our 23 of our HTC devices (i.e. All of them) because there were just too many problems.

Phones look nice but are not stable, despite stabilty in other Android based phones, which only leaves the phones as the problem.

Try harder HTC.

Best Mobile By Far

I purchased the HTC Sensation,and after having other makes of Mobile this is the best purchase to date.
I love my Sensation and its a top notch mobile,works very well, fast ,very clear screen, this model comes with Beats Audio and the sound is fantastic.
I would certainly recommend HTC to any one looking for a well made Mobile phone

Excellent Aftercare Experience

When my HTC Desire Z got stuck on the bootscreen after an update, I thought all was lost. However, HTC's excellent customer service department fixed it under warranty in just a few days, picking the phone up from my place of work, and returning it with no inconvenience to myself. I'll be buying HTC again.

Will return when contract is up

After about 7 or 8 successive Sony Ericsson phones I decided to give HTC a go as at the time Sony did not have an android phone, I had the HTC Magic, it was very good no problems at all and exceeded expectations.
When my contract was up for renewal ,I decided to go back to my old favourite Sony Ericsson In am shocked ,what was once a reliable brand seems to have gone down hill ,I have had nothing but problems with my SE phone since the start both software and the case cracking for no apparent reason one more than 1 occasion despite going back for an updated case.
It looks like the newcomers have overtaken the old guard in the phone market and I shall definately have them at the top of my upgrade list.
I just wish phones would stop getting bigger each year

HTC Mozart very problematic

This phone has never worked properly since I bought it. It's been back to Orange on several occasions, had to be factory reset even more often, and back to HTC twice for repairs and replacement parts. It switches itself on and off randomly, emits loud 'screams' for no apparent reason and the screen freezes regularly. Sometimes this means you can't make a call, sometimes it means you can't end one - so your money drains away! Only fix is to remove the battery. Ask in any phone shop if you want to double check. Battery life is pitiful, even with everything turned off. Last straw was needing to make a 999 call but screen froze and had to power off and on. Don't want to be in that situation ever again.

Great until it breaks

HTC have come from nowhere to be one of the biggest handset makers around. My view is this is largely due to android as before this they made some old school window 6 phones for the likes of orange.

I bought a htc android touch screen smartphone for my son. He loved it. One day the screen stopped responding to touch. The phone was only about 2 months old. I did have insurance but thought it would be covered by warranty. It was. I returned the phone to HTC who acknowledged that the phone was covered under the warranty for the issue it had. Great. HTC then informed me that the cost of the repair, under warranty would be £76. What?! It's covered under the warranty. Yes, they said. But to replace the screen we have to break open the case and to replace the case will cost £76. I tell no lie.

Having pointed out to HTC that the phone actually had clip on covers and I could order bespoke clip on covers directly from HTC for £12. I could not see why I was being asked to pay £76. They eventually agreed to reduce the £76 by £12 to £64 with no explanation on what the £64 charge was for as tgey had agreed the phone was covered for the problem under the warranty.

I eventually asked for the phone to be returned to me at a cost of £12 and claimed on the insurance, which cost a further £25. £37 to get a phone repaired under warranty. Never again.

HTC Rock!

Had 2 htc now - Desire G7 & Sensation XE brilliant phones! Everyone i know who has had an iphone has had nothing but trouble... however my last 2 1/2 years has been trouble free internet browsing texting and calling! Would not recommended any other make on the market at the moment as these guys have it spot on - easy to use, powerful, long lasting, fault free and great looks! EXCELLENT

I've purchased everything from hard drives to case fans from HTC, and I think they're a great company. The prices are usually great and the sales people seem to want to help your specific need, instead of just trying to make a sale. Their website should show more information on the products, though. I'll definitely shop there again.

Fantastic phone

I have just bought my first HTC phone and it is great and so easy to use. I have also bought Nokia in past but in future I will also buy HTC.

I have an HTC inspire and let me tell you, if you dont have an unlimited data plan forget it. These things are designed to suck up data usage like none other not to mention trick you into using more data. The battery life is crap. Every month im getting charged an addiional $10 for "going over my data rate" its a complete joke and I am unhappy with it. I am through AT&T and had an unlimited data and text plan but since i didnt have a "Smart phone" at the time I started the plan I was no longer able to have unlimited data with my htc...... What a joke!!!! The phone is constantly lagging up and freezing and more often then not the "force close" screen is poping up.

HTC rocks my world

Fast and good support

I must admit I had no great expectations for HTC phone support. Maybe I just had too many bad experiences by telephone support for IT and telecommunications companies.

But when I called HTC, there was almost no waiting. And the Danish-speaking (my native language) was quick and precise to diagnose my problem and then give me a knowledgeable guide to how I could fix the problem on my HTC Desire HD.

Dårlig service

Efter at have forespurgt om alle de såkaldte tredje parts programmer som er installeret på din HTC tlf ved levering er svaret fra HTC at din tlf ikke kan fungere uden de er på din tlf. Endvidere er der en del af dem man ikke kan lukke ned og samtidig har de programmer adgang til alt på din tlf, det kan nemt og tydeligt aflæses på specifikationerne. Endvidere påstår HTC at man selv har accepteret at de kan aflæse alle dine beskeder, mail samt sms, diverse konto password m.v ved at klikke ja i accepter første gang man bruger tlf, føj for en gang sludder, en dårligere bortforklaring skal man lede længe efter. Vi er en gruppe af brugere der vil oprette en hjemmeside hvor problematikken bliver belyst samt dialogen med HTC vil blive lagt ind, incl. de lydoptagelser der er fra de telefoniske henvendelser.

I had a screen cracked on my HTC phone and I took it to a local repair shop because I didn't think much of HTC's repair process - sending the phone in mail, they fix it and send it back. The problem is that there was later another damage, unrelated to the screen, that no local store could fix and I had to mail the phone to HTC. I don't know if that is an industry standard these days, but HTC mail-in repair center (the only HTC-approved repair store in US!) insists on replacing parts installed previously by the third parties - the screen in my case, unrelated to the necessary repair, before doing the repair for which you send the phone to them. Needless to say, they charge you for it. The only other option is to pay the "triage fee" for basically looking at the phone, telling you what you already know and sending it back. Can't talk to any technical person, either, to maybe try to give some sense to this (perhaps there is a reason for changing the part that worked fine for months, but at the very least I want to be explained why); basically you can only talk to customer support who don't know much and just repeat what they were told to say. I will never buy an HTC product again because of this inadequate repair service and customer support - shame, because I think their phones are not bad at all.

Love the kit they sell..

Amazing, from the word go. Great kit just a shame Apple are chasing them down as if they were a pack of hungry wolves.

HTC Desire faulty after 4 months

Sound went on my HTC desire, called HTC and they didn't want to know. I went and got an iPhone 4 and now have the 4s and no issues.

Quietly brilliant

I've had my Desire HD for over a year now, and I've only had problems few times, and wasn't problems a restart could not fix.

And I'm really happy that my one year old phone still are getting updatet. just got the new sense 3.0 and andriod 2.3.5.. Wuptii :D

The worst by far

Bought an htc wildfire s. Very poor, signal very bad, even with the signal boost on. Very sensitive to touch and the worst of all, one day it send the same message 83 times and didn`t stop untill i took the battery out! I read reviews on line and its a common problem. Lucky it was my bf and not my boss! Can`t wait to change it and it will be sooner that I thought!
