I like Hulu for the simple fact it is free, and I can catch up on the shows I have missed throughout the week. Like the other reviewer said, it does have weaknesses, and the movie selection isn't great, but for me it is good enough.
The best part for me was no credit card required. ZML charged my card $41.00 unauthorized, and Graboid tried to bill me repeatedly $15.00 when I did not intend to authorize a $15.00 payment every month.
The movie selection is not great. There are a few good movies if you sort thru the lengthy list. Hulu has a good many old movies, not too many blockbusters or major movie productions. The 30 second commercials which occur maybe every 15 minutes are a pain, but then again, I'M GETTING IT FOR FREE. It is cumbersome to back up or fast forward, almost impossible without problems. The current buzz on Hulu is it may migrate to some "pay for view" in the near future. I would not mind paying a little, if I got:
1. better movie selection
2. a safe feeling about giving them my card number
I have no opinion or experience with TV show or other content, I only watch movies.
USA Today said Hulu just passed 1 billion views per month in Dec. 2009.
