I HAVE PLACED MANY ORDERS WITH HYPERDRUG OVER THE YEARS ONLINE, BY PHONE AND IN PERSON. I HAVE ALWAYS RECEIVED MY ITEMS ON TIME AND HAVE NEVER HAD ANY ISSUES WITH THEM WHATSOEVER. A FRIENDLY, FAMILY RUN BUSINESS THAT I WOULD RECOMMEND TO ANYONE!!

Poor service - badly let down

Really disappointed with this company. I'm sure when things go well they're great, but in my experience it went badly wrong.
Having placed my order and paid for 24 hour delivery as it was urgent, I was disappointed to find that 48 hours later Hyperdrug sent me an e-mail stating that my order was out of stock and might arrive in their warehouse the following day. It was eventually dispatched on day 4 and I'm still awaiting delivery. I have requested that charges for 'next day delivery' be refunded. However I have been informed that paying next day delivery means that it will be dispatched for 24 hour delivery ONCE IT COMES INTO STOCK! So, how long IS a piece of string? If you need reliable service, go elsewhere.

Following Hyperdrugs response, I would like to clarify that my order was placed on a friday night. I paid for next day delivery, so expected it to arrive on tuesday as the monday was not a bank holiday. I received a message at 19.00 on the monday night saying that it hadn't been dispatched as they didn't actually have it, and that they were hoping it would be back in stock soon. They were not prepared to refund my next day delivery charge as they claim it's not their fault it's out of stock. I had to turn out in the snow, drive a 32 mile round trip in hazardous conditions and pay over the odds for a product I had already bought and paid for.
The explanation was, that next day delivery does not actually mean next day, but the next day after an item comes into stock. This is precisely what I would like to warn other potential customers about. If your requirement is urgent, do not assume that by paying for next day delivery you will receive your order the next working day. you may not!

Incidentally, I also received some very unpleasant emails from Hyperdrug attempting to bully me into removing my review.

Brilliant

I have bought different items from this company many times and have been very satisfied every time.
The shipping was very fat (even to Denmark) ;)
