I Love shopping at Iceland as it offers brilliant value for money and the range of food is constantly growing. When you compare the price with some fo the 3 other major Hypermarkets in the UK, Iceland is much much cheaper, and often for more in Quantity, especially with there promotions, Keep up the Good Work Iceland.
I really like Iceland,I am one of the older generation who still remember the joys of having my freezer filled up at Iceland, and it always felt like I had a bargain. I still go to Iceland nowadays, but not as offten as I used too. Mainly because there is not an Iceland shop nearby. I would recomment iceland to you as i have always had good value from tthis store also Iceland is always adding new lines to their stock so shopping is always interesting..
If you have a large family to feed they offer a range of frozen & fresh goods all in one shop at reasonable prices to stock up your freezer, also some store offer free delivery if you spend £25. They could do with more staff in some stores as the Q'S have you waiting sometimes over 20 mins to get served.
Great Value for your money, you will certainly save if you shop here, Morrisons wanted to buy them out, I expect so they could up the prices and make more profit, I am so glad that they refused the takeover bid,
there is so much to choose from, both Frozen and other goods and all great tasting and excellent value for your money.
Whenever I go in to the Iceland in Herne Bay, Kent there is always a big long queue, nobody around to ask any questions from and the people who do work in there act like zombies. I know it's not the most stimulating job in the world but I know in customer service roles you're supposed to pretend to be happy...
For people like me on a small budget iceland is the perfect place to shop! The food is excellent value and always tasty!I love the selection, the prices, the offers, the rewards and most of all the good feeling you get when you walk out with bags and bags of shopping that you know will keep you going with lots of choice for a few weeks!Id never shop anywhere else!
Iceland is also great for single people and for those who can't cook! I've found lots of great offers on meals for one, especially the pizzas and ice creams. On my latest visit, there was none of the lettuce I wanted but a member of staff went and got some which had just arrived at the warehouse out the back. Very helpful.
Iceland is great for people that either don't or can't cook real meals... and for people that just don't have time to slave over the stove for 2 hours!!
I find that the overall selection is quite poor really, Pizza, chips, chicken nuggets, microwave meals, fish, frozen (expensive) joints, cakes, puddings, sweets, crisps.... and really poor on the fresh fruit and veg!!
Theres nothing to allow you to make meals its just an unpack chuck in oven and eat style shop.
However- I do shop in iceland im not bad mouthing it, in todays economic climate its a god send to be able to feed the kids for under £40 a week!
I thought that it would also be a god send to have home delivery but I was so wrong..... Our order took 24hours to arrive after the Driver got lost took our shopping back to the store and left it there over night!! no phone call nothing, we then had to eat out that night costing us over £45 in total for fuel and food...... I have to say despite not using the delivery ever again the shop manager refunded us the total of our shopping to refund for the meal we had to pay out for! We still got our shopping...
So overall if you don't mind eating man made reconstituted and easy heat meals, or you just can't keep affording the supermarkets hyped up prices... Iceland gets a thumbs up from me.
