Non-existent customer service - abysmal delivery

I ordered some flowers for my mum on mother's day, I placed an order with the expectation that they would be delivered on Saturday 29th or Sunday 30th - which is acceptable, although I don't see why you can't specify 1 day for the order to be delivered.

As I don't live at home, I asked my sister to keep an eye out for them while she was home for the weekend. All weekend she waited in, expecting them to be delivered, as my mum was occasionally out and unaware of the delivery.

Come Monday, AFTER mother's day, and my sister had to return to University. Suddenly the flowers turn up, but to her neighbour's house! My mum works during the week, so as she was still unaware of the delivery she didn't pick these up until Tuesday evening when I then asked her to go to the neighbour's house and told her there should be some flowers for her.

I appreciate that Mother's Day is a busy time to buy flowers - but specifying 2 days for delivery is one thing, to not even hit that is frankly unacceptable and defeats the purpose in which I ordered the flowers.

On top of that, the 'service ticket' system post sale is appalling. I submitted this feedback 2 weeks ago and have heard nothing - not even a confirmation it's been received. When I log on, it's now sitting in a queue as "unassigned".

A quote from their website:

Never have I seen such blatant LIES.

Don't trust this company at all, go with interflora - they have infinitely better delivery service and actually settle customer feedback, even though they don't claim any of the non-sense above.

I noticed today that their twitter account had been removed after it was bombarded by complaints - what a cowardly way to avoid handling customers problems.

My go-to online florist service!

iflorist is a great service. It's easy to use, very reliable, the prices are very reasonable and the little touches I get from them like the free birthday cards, and discounts are great. My first stop when I need to get some flowers sent

I've used iFlorist several times and always had a good experience. Obviously the flower selection depends on the florist in the area, but they are good and I am always satisfied with the items.
Easy to navigate the site, and love the fact I can pay using PayPal!!

Worst experience using the internet to purchase any goods ever...

I signed up to Trustpilot specifically to give this dreadful rating, thats how strongly i feel about it!!

If I could give them 0 stars I would. I ordered flowers for Mothers Day (also my Mum's birthday on the same day). Suffice to say, they did not turn up. They were very quick to ensure payment was taken with the amount showing on my credit card statement straight away.

I emailed them on the 29th March to ensure the order went through ok and to confirm the flowers were delivered. No response has still be received despite further emails on the 3rd April, 4th April, 9th April and approximatley 3 phone calls during the period.

Their automatic email generated states they will respond within 3 working days...I have to laugh at this!

The phone calls; when i explained the scenario, the member of staff i spoke to asked if they could send some flowers straight away which i agreed to, then i asked about the refund to which she replied that they can either send flowers or send me a refund, not both. So, i asked for the refund and a contact name, email address etc so i could take the matter further. This was sent to me and i emailed the said address (again, no response received to date!!) The refund still didnt appear on my card. Another phone call was made asking to speak to their Order Escalation Manager, however the telephonist said she would deal with my queires and ensure the refund was completed and I would recieve a response to one of my many emails. Again this didnt happen!!

Finally today I spoke to a lady called Emily who was very helpful, very apologetic and got the refund completed straight away and has arranged for flowers to be delivered to my Mum on Saturday (fingers crossed on this!!). This went completely against the information i was given by one of their members of staff on my previous phone call. Emily, the one star rating is just for you and your help during this awful process!!

So to sum it up, I wouldnt recommend this company to anyone at all. Mistakes happen, I get that, but the p1$$ poor customer service magnifies what was already a poor experience. The company certainly need more Emily's in their team!!

Oh, also, their website states:-

The quickest and easiest way to speak to us is via livechat. We're online around the clock most of the time, so there's always someone waiting to answer your question or facilitate your request

This has not been online at all for me to speak to someone to try and resolve the issue. It really is laughable how bad this organsitation is!!

Everything promised was followed, and in good time!

It's difficult to find a florist who will deliver abroad apart from Interflora. This company fortunately offered Canada as one of their delivery countries and a fair selection of assorted flowers available. I am a Laurence Llewellyn Bowen fan and don't think he would recommend any company that was not legitimate so I took a chance. I would have liked an improved selection of flora and maybe chocolates from which to choose my gift but appreciate it is still early days. I will certainly use I florist again. I have already heard from the recipient who was delighted with the selection and appreciated the choice. Thank you I florist!

Florally fantastic! Thank you.

This was my first time ordering flowers online and i was very nervous - i wanted flowers to arrive for my friend on the same day and to be nice - and to go to a different country than where I live without problems. Well! She sent me a huge thank you and photo of the flowers - they looked even better than the picture and she said they were amazing. Very happy, very easy to use and better value than an interflora experience. Very pleased and would happily use again.

Truly disappointing

I ordered a medium sized white bouquet for my friend's birthday in LA and the bouquet was much smaller than the image and multi colour!!!

Fantastic service and flowers were beautiful

After sadly needing flowers for a funeral I stumbled across your website and decided to purchase a spray of white lilies and roses. The flowers were delivered in perfect time for the funeral and they were the most beautiful spray and worth every penny. substandard flowers and terrible customer service

I ordered a bouquet for my Mother for Mother's day at the end of March and still to this date, April 16th, have not received any resolution from this company regarding my complaint. The bouquet clearly stated roses, tulips, carnations and foliage. My Mum received about 12 carnation. How incredibly embarrassed I was that the most important lady in my life was celebrated in this way.

Hi, it was a prompt delivery, thank you, but I didn't expect the flowers to turn up in a basket, I thought I had ordered bouquet but florist's choice of flowers.

Do not use this firm

I ordered flowers to be delivered to my family, in Australia, and was charged £49.90, but have discovered that nothing was delivered. I have now contacted the firl three times, and received no response. I now intend to contact Trading Standards and also take legal action to reclaim my money. DO NOT USE THIS FIRM UNLESS YOU WANT TO RISK BEING CHEATED. I see that "iflowers" have now responded to my review, claiming that "something was missing" from my order application,( not true ) and also that they have tried to e-mail me and will do so again (again not true). I have still received no response whatsoever from this firm, and have now handed this case to my bank and my solicitor to deal with. This firm are, at the very least, totally useless, or worse. Their reply can be seen underneath this review, but is totally untrue, they have NEVER contacted me.

stunning bouquet when they were finally delivered 2 days late

I ordered some flowers for my mums birthday as I live a long way away from her I was very disappointed when they weren't delivered on the day I required.however when they were delivered 2 days late they were beautiful and I received an apology and a £5gift voucher.I will give benefit of doubt and try your service again

Incredibly frustrating as every time I log on I have to request a new password

Unless you have a huge amount of patience I wouldn't use this site. Each time you want to send flowers you have to request a new password as the old one never works. I am extremely careful when entering mine so I know it is not my fault. Also I have trouble with delivery of order in the past and was not satisfied with the way it was resolved. This is the last chance I am giving iflorist. If they hash it up this time I will go elsewhere when sending flowers.
