I ordered flowers a week in advance for flowers to be delivered for a friend's birthday on May 13th. I had not heard from her so contacted her to see if she had received them on the Monday and she had not. I sent three emails to Iflorist chasing why the flowers were not delivered and asking why I was not informed. In reply I have received two emails stating that it will take 3-4 days to respond with an answer???
I phoned on Friday 17th to find out what was happening and a lady stated that she would refund the money I paid for the flowers as she could not get through to anyone in the international department. I said that is fine but I still would like an answer as to why my flowers were not delivered and why I was not informed - do they do this to everyone who orders internation flowers???
She has escalated the issue to the international dept and I recieved another email later in the day from them to say it would take a further three days to look into the matter.
SO TO DATE, I HAVE HAD NO FLOWERS, NO REFUND OR EXPLANATION!!!!!
How many people do they do this to??? How may people follow up on if their flowers have been delivered. How many people do they take money from and not deliver the goods????
I have ordered via another trustworthy online company and at least my friend has a gift. Now it looks like I have to go through my credit card to get my money back....
Ordered flowers for my aunt in Germany-when the flowers turned up they were frozen and just deteriorated. They had also been in a depot for 3 days and in transit for 4 days to get there, covering over 800km in Germany (I just assumed a local florist would be used not realising the flowers were coming from Holland!) . I complained and they said they needed photos to prove it but I explained my aunt is old and didn't have a camera for this. So they sent more. The SAME thing happened again, except 5 days in transit (so 4 days after the expected delivery date!). I got my money back but that isn't the point and nobody could explain why they used this system and how a fresh product for 5 days in transit is acceptable! Terrible and very disappointing overall.
I had ordered on May 7 "Burst of Color" for my mother's birthday in Luxembourg to be delivered on May 9. They notified me through email, not phone call, that the flowers could not be delivered on May 8 & I would have to change the date to the 11th. She got her flowers today, but instead it was 30 roses, not the assorted arrangement that has a bit of a price difference. Never again!
Ordered flowers for a 30th birthday in the USA and they never arrived! iFlorist did not even tell me about this! Money was taken out instantly and customer service have not answered my questions. terrible service, DO NOT ORDER!! A girl in customer service if you can call it that thought giving me a refund was good customer service!!!! They are cowboys and I will be reporting this to Trading Standards as by the looks online they do this to most customers. I have never written a review online so you can see how much I am annoyed by this 'customer service'! They do not have email address's either so expect customers to write a formal letter to their operations manager. I have learnt my lesson and guess that I will probably never see my refund giving the fact the advisor didn't even apologise. This is an every day occurrence for this company so take my advice - DO NOT ORDER!
My daughter has ordered flowers to send to me on my birthday. I'm living in Holland and iflorist told her it isn't a problem to send to Holland. On the day that the flowers should be delivered i received nothing. The next day my daughter contacted iflorist and she chatted with somebody from iflorist. They said something went wrong and the flowers would be delivered the next day. The next day i waited whole day long, still no flowers. My daughter contacted them again and iflorist appologized and told her they will refund the money. We are now a lot of months further and still didn't received any flower or any money. I hope they are happy with the money they took from my daughter, but will never order anything again with iflorist.
I have had terrible trouble with this company. I've never known anything like it before. My flowers were meant to have been delivered to an address in America 2 weeks ago and they haven't. Various excuses were made and so I requested that my order be cancelled and am now waiting for my refund. Quick to take my money, but nothing to show for it. Extremely disappointed. I do not recommend this company.
Basically they cheat you out of money and give you flowers that have "characteristics", but are embarrassing and cheap. I specially picked out and arraignment where the main flower would be the large lilies (since that is the recipients favorite). It was delivered on time, which I was very satisfied with. However they replaced the lilies with cheap Alstroemerias. Although they may share some characteristics, it is clear that these are not "of equal or greater quality..".. Nor value. (As their website states they will do). These are Maybe about a quarter of the size of Lilies. Here at my local grocery store I can buy a whole bouquet for $4 (about 2.65 £). I emailed them and they responded telling me that the bouquet was "filled to value". --there were 6 Alstroemerias to replace lilies. Anyway they offered a 5 £ voucher... (Which is just another slap in the face if you ask me). So we have all decided here to use another company... (Wish I could post the picture of flowers to show you all)..
I was quite embarrassed :/
I ordered a Rose Medley for my wife for our anniversary as she loves Roses, the first problem arose when I received an email stating that the order had been delivered a day early as I had been at work all day I searched high and low for the flowers including asking my neighbours if they had taken them for me but all to no avail so I rang Iflorist ans was informed that the florist had hit the wrong button and sent the email by accident, fair enough. The flowers duly arrived on Saturday but though nice bore no resemblance whatsoever to the order made and only comprised of 4 roses and a lot of other stuff.I tried to contact Iflorist using their appalling online chat thing but all I got from Ms Menla was a standard generic load of waffle that took 15 minutes to deliver. So an not very satisfactory episode which is a shame because I have had excellent service in the past.
The first time I used IFLORIST they delivered late. I tried to contact them to find out where the order was and they took ages to answer. Finally I got an email offering a credit of 5.00 but with no explanation as to how to use it. I placed an second order and got an email stating they had cancelled my order with no explanation. - I used live chat and was told they had run out of flowers. (this seems the only way to communicate with them as they do not answer emails) I have just placed my third order. I would not recommend this company to anyone. I will let you know if they run out of flowers for my third order - Funny thing is the bouquet I requested is still on line to order.
I have never been more appalled by the service of a company.
Their website states, they are "committed to providing the highest level of service simply because the customers deserve the very best"
However I have most certainly seen no evidence of this. Instead I see a company who appears to deem special occasions as trivial, unimportant dates, that they can either choose to oblige their commitment, at a date that suits them.. if at all.
THREE times now, my flowers have either been delivered on the wrong date or not at all.
if you want you flowers delivered... DO NOT USE THIS FLORIST.
It has taken 26 days to receive an automated reply, with still no answer as to why my flowers were not delivered.
After calling the helpline, 6 times, I have still not been allowed to speak to the Manager <private data removed>, as he "must have felt it was not his responsibility to call the customer." Instead I was given the rather cheerful, robotic reply, that, instead she could offer me a delivery... "on any day of my desire" failing to spot, this was not compensation... as I had already specified my desired date... Mothers Day.
They should really change your 100% satisfaction guarantee on the website.
"We value feedback as highly as we value anything else at iflorist. We like to know that our customers are completely satisfied, and take any less than glowing feedback really seriously."
How this can be the case, when I have still no word as to why my flowers were not delivered, is a mystery.
How this can also be the case when it has taken me 26 days to hear any thing from your company without my contact is also a mystery.
Had used iflorist a number of times so didn't hesitate in using them again for a boquet for Mothering Sunday. BIG MISTAKE. The roses that were delivered were dead. Rang customer services on Monday 11th March and was told I had to email a picture of the flowers. I explained the recipient was disabled, over 100 miles from me and relys on the help of carers and that to get a photos would be difficult. Was told it was company policy and nothing could be done. So far I have written to the MD twice (with the photos they demanded) and not even received the courtesy of an acknowledgement of my letter. Have left messages for him to call me, no response. Rang customer services and was asked to email copies of my correspondence to the supervisor. I attached a read receipt to my email, it hasn't been opened. Rang again, Supervisor not available to speak to me and was told I had allow them 3 days for my complaint to go through their escalation process. They have had since 12th March, it's now 5th April. Received an email claiming the florist has run out of roses and so has the wholesaler, yet they are still advertising Roses on their website, would I like different flowers? Declined offer and asked for the flowers I had paid for. Chased iflorist again, no response, no replacement flowers, no refund, nothing. This company claims 100% Satisfaction Guaranteed. They don't know the meaning of customer service. How they win the awards mentioned on their website is beyond me.
I placed this order for a special bouquet of flowers for my Mother in Law for Mother's Day.
The flowers should have been delivered on either Saturday or Sunday, as specified when choosing the option "Mothers Day weekend". Unfortunately, I discovered on the following Monday, that nothing had been delivered.
I immediately contacted iflorist and spoke to a Customer Services Rep, who could provide no explanation, no satisfactory solution to the problem. The date for delivery had apparently been set for several years previously, and the rep implied that the error must have been caused by user fault with my laptop date being incorrect. I looked into the date issue and it is not possible to choose any date other than in the future.
The rep seemed clueless and so I insisted on speaking to the Customer Services Manager. I was told the manager was not at work, so I asked for someone senior to contact me back within an hour.
5 hours later, I telephoned again - nobody senior available yet again - I was promised that someone would call back that same day,
An hour later, calls were being directed to an answermachine message and no online chat facility was available either.
I am beyond exasperated with iflorist. I have been completely ignored, accused of lying, error making, disbelieved, lied to, fobbed off and iflorist have totally failed to adhere to their contract, accept any responsibility for the blunder and have made no attempt to apologise. I have only today received a full refund - weeks after the company failed to deliver the flowers.
Needless to say, I shall not be using your company again and will be ensuring family and friends are aware of my experience.

I ordered Easter flowers for the ladies in my team and paid extra for a speedier delivery. The flowers were showing as "allocated" in the online tracking tool however nothing happened and they never arrived. The next day I phoned and after a rather complicated process of handing in order number, name etc I was put on hold. The lady on the other line told me that she would need to check with the local florist and would come back to me. I therefore left my number and mentioned that the flowers should have been there yesterday since I paid extra. Furthermore I said that a delivery before Easter was a must since it were Easter flowers. She told me she would do her best and come back to me ASAP. I as well asked for a refund of the extra money I paid for the next day delivery (which didn't happen) - I was told she couldn't do anything but the accounts department would come back to me via email. Nothing has happened since then: no email, no phone call and of course no flowers. This is the worst customer service I have ever experienced. The take your money and you get nothing for it just promises and a catastrophic service in every field - try to avoid them...
to comment on the reply below: the local florist was indeed in touch with the office saying that they wouldnt be able to deliver it on that day. so it was never a discussion but we were informed that it wouldnt happen. regarding all the other points it remains the same, only today after another call I was told that the flowers would be delivered.
Lots to choose from and a varied budget. Also you can add in some nonfloral extras like choccies, if you like. Nice for someone who has family in another country. Ive used this about 5 times now and every time they've been very happy with the quality of the flowers.
I needed to send flowers to a funeral in London & found a great selection to choose from on this website. I was impressed with the quick acknowledgment & tracking services. I was told the wreath was beautiful!
Iflorist is a fantastic website that allows me to send flowers to family and friends through an easy to use website. Flowers and gifts are delivered on time and have been very well received each time.
I would recommend you try Iflorist if you want to send something special to someone special.
The process of ordering was straight forward and the selection excellent.
The flower turned up on tome and were utterly superb....thank you for your outstanding service.
I ordered on line for delivery the next day, and was called at 2pm to say the delivery couldn't happen for a further 2 days! You don't order flowers for a special occasion to find they are 2 days late!
I made the order as I was advised using a local company to where the delivery was going to would allow us to determine a time in which the Order could be delivered. This was of importance to me as my mum was going to be out from late morning and so I stipulated a morning delivery. Unfortunately the order did not arrive until the afternoon and was left with a neighbor, however no note was left to advise of this.
The day was special day for my mum as it would have been my dads birthday, who sadly passed away in October, and so having the flowers early on would have let her know that we are thinking of her as it would have been possible to speak with her first thing.
We later discovered they were left with a neighbor and was advised the driver stated they left a note but no note was left and neighbors confirmed the driver left straight after leaving deliver with them
I just feel a little disappointed with the service
we would like to thank your company firstly your telephone receptionest (sorry fogotten his name) all my questions(3) was answered with confidence the flowers was deliverd on time we have seen a photo of the horse shoe wreath and it looks brilliant with us unable to attend the photo of the flowers put us at ease THANK YOU ALL
I ordered the flowers at around midday yesterday and they were on the wifes desk at work for around around 1530hrs. Very impressed. Thank you
On placing the order I realised had made a mistake with the address so I contacted the "online chat". It took 50 mins for the assistant to add one line and the name of the assistant is <private data removed>.
Once the flowers arrived the quality was very poor. The roses were starting to curl on the outer petals and for the cost was not value for money.
Quick & essy to order. Prompt delivery. Really disappointed with the amount of flowers there were for the money spent. I orders a bouquet for £35 plus delivery costs. There were 5 flowers! Loads of greenery. Very disappointed! Will not use again.
Iflorist was recommended to me by my friend as she had already sent flowers to USA and which I wanted to to. It all went very smoothly apart from when I changed the days around and my sister did not get her flowers on the alternative day I choose but got them on the original day and she was out but was lucky that her son was home to receive them. But she loved them and said they were beautiful which is what really matters, so thank you Iflorist I will defiantly be using you again.
Original order not delivered and 4subsequent emails followed with no response.it was only by phone 2 weeks later that the delivery was finally made. I have used your services before with no problems so was bitterly disappointed when my complaints were not followed up but you continued to send me marketing emails .
I can only thank the gentleman on the phone who assured me it would be dealt with.
Had used before and was quite pleased with service.
HOWEVER my recent order to my Aunt who has terminal cancer was APPALLING AND EMBARRASSING . This was a gesture supposed to cheer her up but firstly, the bunch arrived a day after they were due to be delivered with no apologies.
Secondly, I decided to upgrade to a medium-sized version of bouquet I had sent before. This time, the bunch that arrived was smaller than the standard size sent before, wilting and dying by the next day.
Their site guarantees 100% customer satisfaction - DON'T BE FOOLED! Customer service was disgraceful !!!!!! Thinking they would be horrified about this delivery and falling over themselves to correct this situation, I emailed their customer service with proof by way of photo my aunt had sent and requesting a replacement. 24 hours later got a reply which I can only think is automated because it did not address the question of a replacement. After sending out another 3 emails - and a 24 hour wait for a reply appears to be the minimum waiting period for a reply, I telephoned and was asked to send the photo again directly to the person I was speaking to. Finally was told that having looked at the photo with her supervisor - nothing could be done because as far as they were concerned the flowers were alright. Asked to speak to the supervisor who was conveniently out and left my number for her to contact me. Never did!!
I have never written a bad review before but really feel I should alert anyone wising to use this service DON'T! I wish I could upload picture as proof but suffice to say a bunch from outside a garage would have been better value and less embarrassing.

SUMMARY: INCOMPLETE ORDER ~ ONLINE HELP DEFECTIVE ~ TELEPHONE CALL CENTRE AND REFUND PROCESS EFFICIENT.
I ordered flowers and chocolates at short notice for delivery on Mother's Day. The flowers were good and delivered on the Sunday but the chocolates were missing.
I submitted an online ticket to address the issue and heard nothing for 5 working days, despite the ticket being marked "Critical".
I telephoned the customer services number and asked that the missing chocolates be delivered. I was told this was not possible and I was offered a £5 voucher against a subsequent purchase, which I declined. My request for a refund on the missing goods (£5.90) could not be authorised by the telephonist but she escalated my request for approval (response time of 3 working days indicated).
I received e-mail confirmation 3 days later that the refund was authorised (i.e. within stated response time) and the money was accredited to my account after a further 4 days (i.e. within the specified period of 3-5 working days).
I am slightly disappointed with the order process as when I was filling this out it was telling me that there was no charge for delivery and the cost was going to be $53.11. When I hit complete then it stated $7.90 for delivery, and a final price of $61. By then it was too late for me to change my mind as the order had gone through. If you are going to charge delivery then the price should have been stated all through the process. I have used your company many times and plan to carry on using, but this was a disappointment.
After remembering a friends birthday 9pm the night before, I had that familiar feeling of 'what can I get them at this time?!'. I searched on the Internet at the off chance there would be something that's next day delivery, and iflorest fit the bill! The only one! By 1pm the next day the flowers had been delivered! Fresh, colourful and a lovely surprise to my friend who had no idea I had forgotten her birthday! Thank you Iflorest, you saved my bacon!
I ordered same day flowers and even through the checkout process it showed the same day as delivery date. Only when I received the confirmation email did it state the delivery date as the next day. Customer services useless and refused to refund me so I could order from elsewhere. They let me and lady flowers were for down. Will never use again.
