Enticing product but Bogus company - DO NOT ORDER!

I had ordered sconces from Infurn in September 2013 and was told several times of a postponed delivery date. Ok, I thought I wait. A couple of weeks later, again, I checked in, the same story of delay. The fourth or fifth time I was told that the product is in California and I got a bogus UPS Tracking # . After checking with UPS and finding out that there is no such number I called them and wrote to them to cancel my order and requested refund. NO communication ever since! I also noticed that their new office is listed now in Madrid, Spain the New York office phone number does not work anymore. DO NOT order from this company they are totally fraudulent!
P.S. Customer service is polite but don't be mislead, they are absolutely fraudulent, once you request refund they don't reply! If you want to read on, below is a reply from them.

We truly apologize of the delay in receiving your sconces. In regards to order number AU-350163 it has been delayed once again and is now scheduled for delivery the first week of February. We would love to have your keep your order and I would like to extend a 10% discount to your order if you choose to keep your order. If you decide to cancel your order I would understand and we can proceed with a full refund.

INFURN, une histoire sans fin...

Nous avons réalisé une commande de 4 chaises tulipe en mai 2013. La 1ère date de livraison été fixée début septembre et n'a eu de cesse d'être reportée. Au mois de janvier après un énième report notre patience à bout, nous avons annulé notre commande et demandé le remboursement : 801,72 euros. Infurn s'est alors engagée par mail à nous rembourser en date du 20 février 2014 ! Fin février constatant une nouvelle fois qu'Infurn ne tenait pas ses promesses nous avons monté un dossier que nous avons transmis au CEC ( centre européen de la consommation). Le CEC nous a indiqué par mail qu'après avoir transmis notre requête à la société Infurn celle ci s'était engagée à nous rembourser avant la fin avril 2014, nous sommes aujourd'hui le 23 avril et toujours rien à l'horizon, cette histoire trouvera t'elle une fin ? je ne manquerai pas de vous la narrer mais je ne suis pas sûre qu'elle soit heureuse....

Natborde købt november 2013, stadig ikke modtaget bordene eller penge returs

Jeg bestilte 2 natborde i november 2013, og har nu ventet på dem indtil nu. De skulle leveres i marts 2014 (hvilket man først får af vide, når dankortet er kørt igennem) men i slutningen af marts, da jeg ikke har hørt noget, logger jeg ind på infurn, og ser tilfældigvis at ordren er forsinket. Jeg mailer til dem, og får svar retur, at produktionen er gået i stykker. Jeg bliver spurgt om jeg vil vente yderligere 10 uger på den nye produktion, eller om jeg vil have mine penge tilbage. Jeg svarer dem tilbage ultimo marts, at jeg ønsker at få mine penge retur, og opgiver SWIFT og Iban nummer på min bank, men hører ikke mere. Jeg har nu siden da mailet 3 gange til dem, men har ikke hørt noget endnu.
Så vær tålmodig hvis du bestiller, eller endnu bedre, find et andet firma :-)

No goods and no refund after 7 months of chasing...

I had ordered a chair from Infurn on 13 September 2013 and was advised of a delivery date early January 2014. Already a very long time to wait, I thought, but, hey, it will be worth it. Without any proactive communication on their part I then noticed that the delivery date had been postponed, upon chasing they responded and did their usual excuse routine. Then, a couple of weeks later, again, same story, and so I finally cancelled in February with the promise to get my money back within 28 days. Well, no chair AND no money now as the refund never materialised on my card, and I strongly advise NOT to order from this company. I will report them to trading standards as well as for fraud should I not have my money back by the end of the week to at least help others not to make the same mistake.

Manglende tilbagebetaling efter anulering af ordre

Bestilte 3 stk. Verner P Flower Pot lamper sidste år. Efter Infurn gang på gang har udsat leveringen (uden at give besked) afbestilte jeg lamperne og blev lovet at pengene ville blive tilbagebetalt efter 30 dage.De var hurtig til at trække beløbet fra min konto, men det går ikke så hurtigt med at tilbagebetale, der er nu gået over 30 dage og jeg har ikke set en krone endnu.
Pas på dette firma !!!

NEVER BUY SOMETHING HERE !

They send your package only after 1 year or worst...
Never seen that before... And your credit card will be charged immediatly...
I'm actually waiting for a chair, (only 1 article) and after 8 month, they dont give me some feedback... my package has never leave their factory...

I will report them to European consumer center.

We acknowledge that we do take payment at the time when the order is placed.
We, too have to pay suppliers in advance, and this procedure is no different from many other on-line shopping companies who likewise request payment upfront.

Although Infurn has been accused of late delivery, and we admit that it has been an issue which we are striving to improve upon, but it is often also the case that only the negative is emphasized, whilst the hundreds of on time deliveries which were made over the Christmas period, for example, have not been publicised to the same extent.

In your own case, the order was placed in Mid September, and the order details show it is due to arrive next month.

tålmodighed - tålmodighed - tålmodighed - sker ingen ting

jeg har nu ventet i 1 år på nogle ting som allerede er betalt og har haft min penge ude at står og ikke fået en skid for dem og hvem ved om jeg overhovedet for nogle varer eller har jeg givet firmaet mine penge. Hvis du lige står og mangler nogle ting og tænker det har jeg lige om nogle dage ja uger nej det blev sgu til et 1år. Du kan blive ringet op - skrive til dem og der sker ikke en skid - hele tiden så er det lige før det bliver afsendt. Det er total lige glade - hold dig væk fra det her firma. Det ville jeg selv - det kan godt ske det er billigt men lad dig ikke lokke - pengene er væk.

We have checked your order details and whilst we agree that you have been patient
and please accept our apologies for the wait, but the order details show that 6 out of the nine items placed, have been dispatched, and several of these arrived within the standard advertised time frame.

We are sorry that the 3 remaining items have been delayed longer than expected, most likely due to quality control issues, but the order details now show they are due to arrive in early June.

Infurn do offer compensation for delays, and in your case, due to the overall time factor involved and the value of the articles, you would have accumulated a considerable sum to wait for the remaining items.

Your other order which you later cancelled, was fully reimbursed in September 2013.

6 months no refund, reported for fraud.

I made an order for a chair on 09/10/13 and cancelled it the same evening. Since then have sent repeated emails and have had several conversations with people who tell me i can expect a full refund in a few days time. Having looked into the company further I think the people I spoke to work for another company, and that Infurn are a very dodgy set up. I reported them to the British Police for fraud. I since found out several others have dine the same and that they are being investigated. I suggest you think very carefully before parting with any money to this company.
