Infurn is not reliable

On 31-10-2012 I ordered en paid in advance (EUR 804.30) for an Charles Earnes Lounge Chair. The delivery was postponed twice but the chair finally arrived on a friday at the end of April, but unfortunately, due to a transport accident the chair was severely damaged and after sending some pictures of the deplorable state of the chair I received an e-mail on behalf of Infurn that they will pay me the money back (100% refund) between 29-04-2013 and 10-6-2013.

On the 15th of June I send an e-mail to Infurn, that despite of their affirmation in writing, I did receive the money but since then I have not heared from Infurn.

I want my money back aftter 8 month’s of waiting in vain for the chair and the money!!

Jeg har afbestilt mine 6 stole i Februar - jeg har ikke set skyggen af mine penge endnu.

Der er gået 4 måneder - de skriver 30 arbejdsdage for returnering af penge.

De snyder - fup firma. Aldrig er jeg blevet snakket efter munden og oplevet manglende responce.

Jeg har 5 gange "bestilt" (ja tænk at det skal bestilles) en opringning - 2 gange har de ringet - 3 gange har jeg siddet og kigget 1 time forgæves på min telefon.

Latterligt firma. Der er så mange andre gode forretninger på nettet – brug dem

Fed hjemmeside, fede varer, fri fragt, minus 30% på alle varer – dog kun i dag.....(og alle andre dage jeg har været på siden..), refunderingsgaranti, over 100.000 tilfredse kunder. Yuhuuu – her køber jeg min stol!

Ehhhhh.....
Stol bestilt 13.01.13. Jeg havde ikke læst den lille tekst, som fortæller at varen kan forventes leveret efter 10-18 uger. Du ved, den lille tekst, der ligger 'bag' den knap der skal hages af. DER forstår jeg at jeg har gjprt noget DUMT! Hvilket firma kan, i 2013, have en internetbutik med 4-5 MÅNEDERS leveringstid...?

4-5 måneder!!!

Nåh, jeg får besked om at stolen vil leveres omkring den 27. maj. Den kommer, som forventet, ikke... så den 16. juni sender jeg en mail, med annulering af ordre, grunnet manglende levering til ret tid. Jeg bliver så ringet op af en meget hyggelig sælger, som fortæller at stolen kan leveres i august. AUGUST!!! Det havde jeg ikke fået at vide, inden min annulerering. WTF. Jeg takker venligst 'nej' til dette – og har ingen forventninger til firmaet mere. Mine penge? De har jeg da inden for 30 dage. Måske...

Still missing one item after 10 month ? Why so long !!!

From my order of two product august 2012, I've receive one table, well that's good, by I still missing on table. Infurn has call me two times to tell me that I will receive it end of may. Here we are in June ? And nothing has change on my account and information ?

cancelled order, no refund!! do not use this website

I made an order from the site a month ago. A day later i read the reviews here and cancelled my order. One of their customer service called confirming, and i confirmed i want to cancel and i want to refund. He promised they would refund. When i login to my account at their website now, i see my order is cancelled, but i haven't gotten a refund. Every time i try to contact them now, i don't get a reply. This website are scammers. I have filed a complaint with my bank and am reporting them as scammers.

Don't get fooled by them, save yourself stress and money and don't use this website!

As per our telephone conversation today, our records show that you placed the order 15.05.2013 and decided to cancel on 16.05.13.On the 20th May 2013 our Customer Service team informed you, by telephone, that you would be refunded within 30 working days, and you agreed to this, an email confirmation was also provided.

During the telephone conversation of 20 May 2013, you clearly stated that you did not wish to be contacted by INFURN again, We provide an appointment system for contacting Customer Service, I can find no record of an appointment being requested. therefore your comment regarding contact by the Customer Service team is incorrect.

In respect of your refund request, this is being processed in accordance with the Terms and Conditions within the 30 working day limit. Your refund will be processed and actioned week commencing 24 June 2013.

We strongly object to your allegations the website are scammers when the review you have submitted is not entirely truthful.

If in the meantime you require any further information, please do not hesitate to contact me.

Voleurs ibériques

Bonjour,

Je voudrai faire part de mon expérience sur le site Infurn pour la commande de 4 chaises Eames DSW.

Délais annoncés par Infurn : la semaine du 19.05.2013
Fin mai contact du service client :
Aucun email disponible sur le site, rappel téléphonique uniquement 2 semaines après la demande... de qui se moque-t-on ?
Je réussi quand même a avoir quelqu'un qui m'annonce que la livraison est retardée de 4 semaines.
Nous sommes fin juin, aucun contact d'Infurn, beaucoup de commentaires désastreux sur différents sites comme TrustPilot.

J'aimerai me faire rembourser le plus rapidement possible, et que personne d'autre ne se fasse avoir par ce site qui a des pratiques malhonnêtes.

Thank you for your comments on Trustpilot but we do not agree with your description of us.

Whilst we agree that your order has been delayed, and we are sorry for this, upon checking with Logistics, the DSW chairs are still due to arrive next month,
a little later than originally expected.

From our discussion today, you are reluctant to wait for mid July delivery and want to cancel the order.

At present there are 15 lapsed weeks on your order, after week 18 you are entitled to do so.

Either way, there is no theft involved, as you will either decide to receive your goods, or else you will receive a full refund.

Arnaque, malhonnêteté, vol, incompétence, non respect des clients, ...

J'ai passé commande auprès du site INFURN début février 2013 pour une commande devant être livrée début juin 2013. Conscient des très longs délais de livraison, je m'inquiète début juin de ne toujours pas avoir de nouvelles du site ou du transporteur, je contacte INFURN ... Et à ma surprise, le service clientèle m'annonce que ma commande aura trois semaines de retard (nouveau délai de livraison pour fin juin). Toujours sans excuse téléphonique ou par mail de leur part, je constate le 17 juin 2013 sur mon espace suivi de commande, la livraison est retardée de 8 semaines.
Maintenant, j'attends une réponse concernant le remboursement de l'intégralité de ma commande, et la procédure suite à ma plainte effectuée auprès du Centre Européen des consommateurs.
NE COMMANDER JAMAIS CHEZ INFURN, MEME SI EUX VOUS DISENT QU'ILS FONT TOUT POUR S'AMELIORER ... C'EST DU VOL !!!

never ever - hände weg!!

never ever - Hände weg! bestellte am 28 März 2013 um 695,53 EUR und stornierte noch am selben Tag. Der Kundendienst war erst nach Wochen unzähliger Mails und Anrufe zu erreichen. Das Geld sollte ich innerhalb von 30 Tagen erhalten, wurde mir zugesichert. Noch immer ist nichts passiert. Meine Drohung, rechtliche Schritte einzuleiten, wurde ebenfalls ignoriert. Werde Beschwerde beim EVZ einbringen und dann versuchen, die Medien einzuschalten.

On checking your order details and past email correspondence, it shows that you changed your mind about the order, you wanted to order original instead, and therefore applied for a cancellation.

On the 11th April, the German Customer service team informed you that you would be refunded within 30 working days, and you agreed to this. However, our records show prior to the deadline, an approach was made by yourself for a charge back, this was not disputed, and funds were drawn from our account on 17th May.

As this was already done, no refund is possible.

Subsequent to our discussion this morning, we are providing evidence of the chargeback for you to check with your provider.

Seit Wochen versuche ich Kontakt zu der Firma herzustellen. Nun habe ich den europäischen Verbraucherschutz eingeschaltet. Nicht dort kaufen!!

Manglende tilbagebetaling

Jeg købte den 11.02.2013 en lampe. jeg annulerde købet 1 time senere. På trods af min annulering blev beløbet for lampen trukket på min konto dagen efter. Jeg har siden skrevet utallige mails til 'DHO@infurn-holdings.com' for at få mine penge. Infurn har accepteret annuleringen og informerede mig om at de skulle have 30 arbejdsdage inden jeg fik mine penge. de 30 dage plus yderliger 14 dage er nu gået og jeg har ikke set skyggen af pengene. Jeg er så ærgelig over at være havnet i kløerne på et åbenbart uhæderligt firma, når jeg lige så godt kunne have valgt at handle med et af de andre replica firmaer. Ærgeligt, ærgeligt!!!

With early cancellations,it is sometimes possible for repayment to be put back straightaway, but once payment has already gone through, as your one did, then the refund request becomes subject to the usual 30 working days policy.

Nevertheless your refund is overdue and we apologize for this.

I have confirmed in writing to you today, that urgent action has been taken
and would appreciate your confirmation on Trustpilot once payment shows on your account that you have received your money back.

DO NOT TRUST INFURN!!!

I placed an order on April 14th, 2013 - and cancelled the same on April 17th, 2013. Pushing for a confirmation of the cancellation a couple of times finally resulted in the confirmation from Infurn on April 24th informing that my refund would be done within 30 working days. Beginning of June I sent a reminder by e-mail asking for a confirmation of the refund date. On Tuesday June 4th I received the confirmation that the refund would be done latest on Thursday June 6th. Until June 12th nothing happened in my account. Consequently on June 12th, 13th and 14th I have asked to get a copy of the transfer sheet confirming that the refund was done. I have received no reply so far and no refund in my account.
Next step will be the police and a accuse of fraud.

Stay Away or You'll Be Sorry

I think the reviews here speak volumes as the same thing has happened in every instance, with the same worthless reply from the company. No communication, no delivery, no refund. Obviously, I wish I had searched for reviews before ordering since it seems it's very well-known how terrible this company is. My financial institution and attorney will handle the rest, but what a hassle. Do not believe a thing the company has to say and you will do fine.

We know there have been delays in some cases and that some refunds may be overdue but please bear in mind it is the worst case scenarios that most often appear on Trustpilot. Our response to reviews are not worthless as they have been backed with action. Unfortunately many customers who post on this site, neglect to up-date their reviews to confirm their delivery arrivals and receipt of refunds.

At the moment your order shows 9 lapsed weeks which is still within the standard delivery time and I have checked with the warehouse today for the 2 x Philippe Starck Pratfall Chairs, and have given you a realistic delivery time frame.

I know you are not happy with the wait but your chairs will arrive, and if for any reason this were not possible, then you will be fully reimbursed.

We have offered compensation for the wait, or alternative in stock items for faster delivery, or else a refund in accordance with the terms and conditions, and await your response.

Hurtig betjening

Jeg bestilte en BIGBOY XXL sækkestol og der var 1 -2 ugers leveringstid. Stolen ankom efter 11 dage meget fin service.

Really bad experiance, is it a fraud?

May review was removed due to wrong order number. My ordernumber at Infurn is AU-127201. Please check

I did order six Y-chairs, a lamp and a clock back in April 2012. And yes, I did know that there was long delivery terms. I initially got informed they were to be delivered in August. The delivery dates was then pushed to December ("did not pass their quality check" seen that a couple of times in other reviews) and then to March. About that time I had read all the negative reviews on Trustpilot and started to understand that my money was at risk here.
- After the stated 34 weeks I did ask for a refund in February 13th.
- At March 20th I did get in contact with them once again and got told "we will send a reminder to Finance department". Nothing happened.
- Contact again at April 29th and got told "we have had reorganizations at Finance, please wait one 2-3 weeks"
- Another contact at May 25th I once again received their standard answer "we have had reorganizations at Finance please wait 2-3 weeks"

By now you all know that nothing have happened. I have not received my money, nor update. Next step is the police.

Please do stay as far away from this company as you can. The do not deliver anything, only steal your money.

Betrug

Ich bestellte Mitte Januar 2013 einen Eames Plywood Couchtisch für 195 € reduziert und bezahlte diesen auch sofort per Kreditkarte.

Zunächst wurde der Liefertermin auf Ende Mai festgelegt. Ich wollte die Bestellung sodann stornieren. Mir wurde dann jedoch per Email mitgeteilt, dass ich Stornogebühren bezahlen müsste, was bereits der gesetzlichen Lage widerspricht.
Darauf nahm ich zunächst Abstand von der Stornierung.

Dann verschob sich der Liefertermin auf Juni. Übliche Ausrede: Der Tisch entsprach nicht dem Qualitätsstandard. Auf Nachfragen erhielt ich eine Email, dass es dieser dubiosen Firma sehr leid täte und die Wünsche des Kunden sehr wichtig seien. Davon merke ich leider nichts.

Ich schaute dann vor ein paar Tagen erneut auf das Lieferdatum. Nunmehr wurde dieses auf Ende August !!! 2013 verschoben, ohne mich nochmal zu informieren.
Ich stornierte nunmehr meine Bestellung und warte trotz vieler Kontaktversuche vergebens auf eine Reaktion.
Sollte ich mein Geld nicht bis Ende Juni 2013 erhalten, werde ich juristische Schritte einleiten, die Presse informieren und die Europäischen Verbraucherzentrale einschalten. Das ist eine Frechheit, was da passiert.

Our records confirm that you initially requested an early cancellation on 07.02.2013, but on 12.02.2013 you decided to keep this order, as per your email of 12 February 2013.

It is true that the order was delayed, but it did not contradict our Terms and Conditions, which you agreed upon when you placed the order. Please check Delivery section on the website for delays.

No news, no good news

I ordered four pieces of furniter in the 2nd of February 2013 with an expected delivery date this week , but I don't have notices. When I looked at the status of my order, the items were pushed back 6 weeks more.

The conditions of the order was between 10 and 18 weeks. This is the 21st week. I'm worry about if it is really a shop or a simple joke.

It smells like a fraud.

The Spanish Customer service Team have been in contact with you today to discuss your concerns and we understand that you were anxious as you had not received a response to your email enquiry. Unfortunately, upon checking, the only enquiry found was back in February when the order was placed.

However, they have informed you that your chairs although a little delayed are due to arrive next month, and you have agreed to wait for them.

We are sorry for the wait but there is no fraud involved but there is a slight delay. The Spanish customer service agent has agreed to monitor your order, and will answer your questions on callback system if you prefer this.

Smells like fraud

I ordered three pieces of furniter in mid February 2013 with an expected delivery date in June. When I looked at the status of my order, the items were pushed back to three different months: One item in the end of July, one in August, one in September. That smells like fraud ... they have my money and now they run!

No reactions from customer service. No telephone number to call.
I've now forwarded this case to my credit card company for dispute and will get my UK lawyer to deal with it.

You seem to have already formed your negative opinion, and this is not based on your own experience.

In your own case, I have checked your order details and your order is at present at week 17, and still within the standard delivery time frame.

It is true that the order will be slightly delayed but even here, there has been no contravention of the Terms and Conditions, which you agreed to when you placed the order. Please check Delivery section on the website for delays.

We also offer compensation for the wait, and you would be entitled to bonus credit on your account for the delay after week 18.

There is nothing to show that delivery will not be made, and nothing to say that a refund is not possible if that is what you decide upon, again in accordance with the Terms and Conditions.

The decision to cancel is up to you. If you waited for July, your goods will arrive.

We also object to your claiming you had no reaction from Customer service, the German service team have been in contact with you and answered your email. There is also a callback system shown on the website, and you have my contact details.

You are at liberty to forward your case for a chargeback but this will be disputed if it is not within the Terms and Conditions and the EU law, but there is no reason to do this. There will be no objection to your refund application, as discussed, providing application is made in accordance with the Terms and Conditions of which we have informed you of today.

ALDRIG KØB PÅ INFURN.

Jeg nåede desværre at købe noget hos infurn inden jeg så deres anmeldelser herinde og nu har jeg mistet 4000 kr på varer jeg aldrig får, selvom jeg afbestilte ordren 2 dage efter jeg bestilte dem... Jeg skulle have modtaget varen i maj men har intet modtaget eller hørt fra dem og de svare ikke på min mail.

ARNAQUE!!!!

Après avoir passé une commande le 29.04.2012 qui n'a jamais été livré j'ai mis un an pour être remboursé, mais voila la 2e commande du 07.02.2013 est encore repoussé au 09.09.2013 je pense que je ne serais jamais livré un scandale société à fuir!!

We do acknowledge there was an issue with your original order, as delivery was not possible at that time, but we offered an open claim to re-order or else a refund for the goods. You accepted the refund and was subsequently fully reimbursed.

Your current order for the ever popular 'Housebird' has been placed using Bonus credit at zero cost to yourself, and one which we were not obliged to offer as you had already been refunded, but which was allowed as a gesture of goodwill. All the same we apologize for the delay.

The subject of delays is, we know a mute point and particularly last year when we lost some 22 suppliers in China, due to global recession. We secured new suppliers but the issue had serious consequences on delivery times for certain products.

Despite this, Infurn still managed to deliver 90,000 items in 2012
with improved delivery performance of some 65,000 items in the first half of 2013. Infurn has grown rapidly over the last 5 years and logistics on this scale is a massive operation, and inevitably problems do occur.

Nevertheless, we are committed to advancement and are continually striving to improve. Plans are afoot to keep larger quantities of the more popular items In stock for faster dispatch, and this has already been achieved with certain items such as the 'Hang it alls' and the 'Beanbags'. In the months to come, more items will be added to the In stock list. Certain products will also be produced locally.

With regard to your particular order, and following our several discussions and offers of In stock alternatives, you have decided to wait for the delivery of the Housebird.

13 juin : Mazal Tov ! Remboursement reçu le 10 juin. Comme quoi tout arrive ! 3 mois d'attente mais je m'en sors pas trop mal.

8 juin 9h35 : Toujours pas de virement, j'attends encore le remboursement. Encore une journée sans viande avec mes patates... J'ai faim.

7 juin 11h15 : Modification importante : je viens d'avoir un appel d'Infurn me promettant un remboursement dans les quelques heures. Je vous tiens au courant objectivement de l'évolution de la situation...

7 juin 10h00 : Commande le 6 avril.
Annulation de la commande envoyée le 8 avril et demande de remboursement.
Au 7 juin, aucun remboursement reçu évidemment.
Hotline difficile à joindre,
Personnel incompétent (ou tout simplement impuissant)

Til alle som vurderer å bestille noe fra Infurn- Ikke gjør det!

Jeg bestilte ett par stoler i september og fikk bekreftelse på at de skulle leveres 11 januar. Januar kom, men det gjorde ikke stolene. Da jeg ikke hørte noe, tok jeg kontakt og fikk til svar at ordren min måtte registreres på ny med forventet leveringstid i juni. Dette var jeg ikke interessert i og ville ha refundert pengene. Jeg fikk til svar at det var gitt beskjed til økonomiavdelingen, men at det kunne ta opptil 30 dager. Det er nå juni og jeg har etterlyst pengene hver måned siden januar. Hver mail fra Infurns kunde"service" inneholder forsøk på unnskyldninger og lovnader om jeg skal motta det innen nye 30 dager.

Siste livstegn per mail bekrefter nok en gang at det er registrert hos økonomiavdelingen og at det vil bli overført snart. De innrømmer nå at de kan ikke si noen konkret dato da det er veldig mange som venter på å få refundert pengene sine. Det er uforståelig at det kan ta så lang tid og overføre pengene. Min bestilling ble visstnok ikke registrert videre til produksjon. Å overføre pengene burde da være en enkel sak- dersom det finnes en økonomiavdeling.

Artikel storniert, Geld erst nach Rezension auf dieser Webseite zurück erhalten

Ich habe bei infurn einen Kauf über 264.30 EUR innerhalb von 24 Stunden storniert und mein Geld zunächst nicht zurück erhalten. Ihre AGB erlauben INFURN, bei Stornierungen in den ersten 14 Tagen das Geld 30 Arbeitstage einzubehalten. Auch nach Ablauf dieser Frist passierte zunächst nichts und drei Emails blieben unbeantwortet.
Erst nach einer negativen Berwertung auf dieser Seite hat der Kundensevice reagiert. Danach habe ich mein Geld dann tatsächlich zurück erhalten.
In Zukunft hole ich vor einem Kauf intensiver Informationen über den Verkäufer ein. Nicht nur hier, sondern auch, wenn man den Namen der Firma (am besten mit dem Zusatz "Verbraucherschutz" ) sucht, kommt man auf viele interessante Berichte über die Geschäftspraktiken von INFURN
Ich würde hier nicht wieder bestellen.

In navolging van mijn vorige mailtjes: de terugbetaling is inderdaad uitgevoerd en er werd een commerciële tegemoedkoming gegeven wegens laattijdige levering!
Dit is al een geruststelling!
Nu maar hopen dat de goederen snel geleverd worden !
Een betere rechtstreekse communicatie met cliënten en een betere dienst na verkoop zou INFURN ten goede komen !

We checked your order details and it shows that the order was placed 27.01.13 and records show that you paid twice by Visa and by Bank transfer and an overpayment.

It is true that you emailed requesting us to check for overpayment 29th January and in response, the Customer service agent upon investigating confirmed you paid too much and emailed you 31/01/13 informing you that he would request a refund on your behalf.

Although you added Bank details on 04/02/13, they were requested again on 10/04/13 and were received from you 12/04/13 and you were refunded on 22nd May - within 30 working days from receipt of the relevant details.

Furthermore, the same agent called you 23rd May with the intention of informing you about the refund, he left a voicemail message and emailed the refund confirmation instead.

Please check with your Provider to further confirm that you have been fully reimbursed for the overpayment.

With regard to the delivery status, Your order is presently within the standard 10-18 weeks delivery period, and although it will be slightly delayed until the end of July, the same agent also kept you informed with delivery status up-dates on the 4th February, 10th April and today. It is not possible to give an exact date, as final delivery date is in the hands of the Courier.

Please be assured your goods will arrive and your refund has been made, we regret you waited longer than is ideal, but we will provide evidence of the refund if you require it.

Absence de remboursement depuis 3 mois !!!

J'ai passé une commande pour une banquette au mois de février que j'ai annulée le jour même donc respectant les conditions générales de vente du site. Le montant était de plus de 1000 euros. Je n'ai jamais été remboursée à ce jour soit plus de 3 mois après ma demande et ce malgré mes nombreuses relances auprès du site. Ils m'ont assurée que j'allais être remboursée à chaque fois sous peu, que ma demande était en cours de traitement...;etc...Que des mots....Je n'ai toujours pas été remboursée à ce jour et je crois que je ne serai jamais remboursée. Aussi je vous déconseille vivement de passer commande sur ce site, ce sont des escrocs et des amis à moi ont passé également une commande en janvier et n'ont toujours pas été livré à ce jour, ce qui est inadmissible de la part d'un site de vente en ligne et ils sont sans nouvelle à ce jour de leur commande.
Je vous déconseille donc vivement ce site marchand sous peine d'être victimes comme moi et mes amis de leurs mauvais agissements

Dishonest and Unethial Business Practices

My wife and I ordered 6 dining chairs in July of 2012 and they have yet to arrive to our home. Every month, a different company representative promises me that they will arrive in 6 weeks. Every month, our order was pushed 6 more weeks. Eventually, one of the supervisors explained that we were given "...too good of a deal...you got too big of a discount...I doubt they will ever ship your chairs. Most of the time, these types of orders are just extended until the customer gives up and takes a refund..." When I asked about a refund, the agents explain that it can take up to 3 months for a refund to come back to us.

After reading other reviews like ours, it is my opinion that Infurn.com is an unethical company and we never anticipate receiving our order or a refund at this point. It is very disappointing to us both.

Nevertheless, we absolutely refute any suggestion that your chairs will not be shipped. Although behind the intended schedule, I have checked your order details today and have received a realistic time frame. We apologize that you have had to wait, but there is compensation to do so and we will be happy to discuss this with you.

Please be aware there was never any deliberate intention on our part, not to ship your goods, and there would be no sense from good business practice and ethics in pursuing such a course of action.

We do admit though, that there have been problems with your order but if, after discussion and a reasonable proposal of compensation to wait, this was still not agreeable to you, a resort to refund can be made, and you will not have to wait 3 months!

On this point, there is no doubt - you will receive your goods, or your money back.

Due to the time difference between here and the United States, I did not want to call you early, but will get in contact later today and will email you.

INFURN - A Somewhat Satisfied Customer - Improved level of service I would expect from a company with over 100,000 customers!

On 13th November 2012 we ordered 4 items from Infurn UK website (which has since relocated to Spain).
On 18th April 2013 we recieved a George Nelson clock without battery cover, but otherwise ok. - Infurn has responded and are sending me a new battery cover.
On 15th May received second itiem Eero Saarinen Tulip Side Table, although only table top delivered and no base stand. Submitted complaint to Infurn (Claim No: b1d07ef97a) on 16th may and received 2 follow up telephone calls from Infurn, informing me that a replacement base stand would be sent to me. (I have been informed by Infurn that a replacement table stand is being shipped to me in Norway - current claim status - In progress).
On 9th May we received item number 3 from infurn (Hans Wagner Peacock chair), no problems.
On 28th May we received the 4th item - Arne Jacobsen Egg Chair in Aniline leather. However it was not the "Special Edition" Premium Leather Egg Chair that we originally ordered. It was the standard Egg Chair in Aniline Leather. The Special Edition chair has Nubuck Leather (suede) on the underside and a brushed gold aluminum pedestal base, (the two distinguishing factors), that classify this as a Special Edition and justifies an additional £600 price difference on their website. Also the chair we received had some minor quality issues with respect to;- leather patches lightly glued over badly cut leather around the adjustment handle and pedestal base on chair. We submitted a complaint to Infurn (Claim No. 6362d90f50), on 28th May and also sent a follow up email to their contact email address. So far we have received several positive follow up telephone calls and several emails informing me that they are going to reorder and replace the chair with the originally ordered Special Edition chair.
I am at present fairly satisfied with their positive reaction and responses so far.
In summary as a company they do exist, and our experience is that you will eventually receive ordered items from them, however expect several delays, the quality is reasonable quality. Especially when you consider the prices paid against what the original items would cost!. Hopefully my missing side table base will soon appear and then render my table as a fully usable table.
If and when I finally receive the Arne Jacobsen Special Edition Egg Chair, then I will be more than satisfied with INFURN.

I will wait for final resolution of my two outstanding issues from INFURN before I update their overall performance evaluation and star rating on Trustpilot.

31st May 2013 Update: I have recently received several follow up calls and an email from INFURN customer support. They have informed me that a new clock battery cover and the missing table base are both being sent out to me. They also requested photographs of packaging labels from the Arne Jacobsen chair, which I immediately forwarded back to them via email. I then received three further follow up calls from their customer support and now just waiting final resolution of the wrong Arne Jacobsen chair delivered to me. Unfortunately for those of us that live in Norway, we have to pay customs import VAT and a handling fee from the logistics company in Norway prior to receiving the goods. This VAT and fee is non refundable, so makes things harder for returning goods. The Customs VAT and charges are not the responsibility of Infurn as this is quite simply because Norway is not in the EU, therefore any VAT paid outside of Norway is not recognized by Customs in Norway. However the fact that the wrong chair has been delivered, is the responsibility of INFURN, therefore I will judge them as a company by the way they resolve the outstanding issues.

3rd June 2013 Update:- Received several pleasant telephone calls from infurn customer support, informing me that a replacement Arne Jacobsen Special Edition Egg Chair, has now been ordered and will be delivered within the next 10 to 18 weeks. The chair will be delivered to Norway as a zero rated VAT replacement, so that I will not incur any additional Norwegian Customs VAT.
I have also been informed that the missing table base stand is already sent out to me and should arrive in the next 2 to 3 weeks. I have therefore changed my title to provide a more positive reflection in favor of Infurn and also uprated them from 2 to 3 stars. When I receive the two outstanding replacement items, I will be more than happy to further upgrade the title header and also further improve their overall star rating. I am hopeful that I will inevitably be able to up-rate to 5 stars, if everything is resolved to my total satisfaction. The rest is down to Infurn.

To anyone else thinking of ordering from INFURN, be patient and prepared to wait upto 5 to 7 Months from order date before receiving your goods. For us in Norway this wait was not a problem and they have delivered all of the 4 items we had ordered, (although some issues with two of the goods received), they have also followed up with good communications, very polite and apologetic, by both telephone and email, so from my personal experience I know this is definitely not a scam. They are a trading company and they do deliver, however they do have some logistical and quality control issues that they appear to be addressing, in order to become a more professional business.

18 ugers produktion, dog 4 uger mere pga kvalitetskontrol. dont believe it !!!

Havde bestilt og betalt 8 stole helt tilbage i januar måned, men ville godt vente 18 uger, da det var en god pris, og vi havde ikke flere penge i vores opsparring.
Læste derefter trustpilot, og fandt ud af at jeg nok skulle have set her før inden vi bestilte stolene.
Begyndte derefter at skrive mails til Infurn, og de svarede tilbage at alt var fint.
Meeeenn, så da jeg nu kontakter dem, pga at vi skulle have stole den 4 juni og ikke havde hørt noget fra dem, så er stolene kaseret af kvalitetstjekket.
Har bedt infurn fremsende dokumentation for at produktionen er sat igang, og at de andre stole blev kasseret med billeder, har endnu ikke modtaget noget.
Vi har skrevet til dem at de skal levere inden 2 uger, og fremsende dokumentation på produktion, ellers må vi have vores penge tilbage.
Vi er begge studerende og har 3 små børn på 2 og 4 år og en lille pige på 7 måneder, vi har gået hele sidste år og sparet sammen, og arbejdet i weekender for at få råd til dette, og nu ser det ud til at gå helt galt for os.
Kan simpelthen ikke bære det.
Det eneste positive er at min onkel arbejder på ekstra bladet som redaktør, og han vil skrive en artikel, såfremt det her går i vasken.

Hvis de er seriøse, så bør dette jo ikke være noget problem for dem,, men lad os se hvad de svarer.

Meantime, with regard to your bonus credit, we are looking into the reasons as to why you were unable to redeem your credit. Bonus credit is not usually available until after 18 lapsed weeks, and this may be why it has not yet activated. If this is the case, it will be redeemable by next week. The other reason is that it could be due to an IT issue, and if so, it will be investigated and rectified.

Either way, there is no intention to deceive and your bonus credit will be made available to you shortly.

SVINDEL!

21 mars 2013 bestilte jeg 5 stoler, etter bestilling fikk jeg beskjed om at disse ikke kunne leveres før august/september 2013. Dette ble altfor lenge å vente så jeg ba om å få bestillingen kansellert om de ikke klarte å levere før, siden de ikke ville klare det gikk Infurn med på å betale tilbake pengene. I dag, den 29 mai, har jeg fremdeles ikke fått refundert beløpet på nærmere 5000NOK.
Jeg har henvendt meg flere ganger til Infurn, som har en helt elendig kundeservice! Du må be om opprigning, de gangene jeg har tastet bestillingsnummeret mitt, samt oppgitt den ærlige årsaken til at jeg vil at de skal kontakte meg, så får jeg bare mail tilbake om at de ikke har kundebehandler ledig.
De gangene jeg har oppgitt andre årsaker har jeg blitt oppringt, jeg blir da lovet at pengene vil komme. Dette har fremdeles ikke skjedd. Så nå er firmaet blitt anmeldt, samt at det er blitt sendt inn klage til forbrukerrådet.
Anbefaler ingen å benytte seg av Infurn, lukter svindel og useriøsitet lang vei!

Is Infurn a scam or will they deliver? Live update on purchase

I have decided to publish a log on my Infurn order.
I think every potential customer should know what they can face, what weard terms this company will meet you with and what service they really provide at the end.

As I am unsatisfied till the momens Infurn delivers the product that I ordered I will give them one star. If they ever manage to deliver what I expect, I will correct this imediately.
If they fail, I will publish how everyone can get their prepayment (on a credit card) back.

For readers with a specially developed sense for patience, here is the log:

My comment: Hmm, what Infurn says here is that it will take them 18
weeks/4.5 months! to deliver what they sell on the internet.

My comment: Isn't it strange the same seems to happen on EVERY
order?
But again, if you deal with Infurn, this is their terms....

There is no scam involved, you will receive your item and it is indeed due to the strict checks and quality control process that we are able to offer Customers up to a 5 year warranty on replicas and a 2 year warranty on Infurn Home products - also shown in the Terms and Conditions.

You may wait a little longer but goods are hand finished, we offer a wide variety of materials, colour options and sizes in our products - all at premium prices.

Worth waiting for !! VERY NICE QUALITY!!

In oktober 2012 I ordered at Chair from INFURN, a Eames RAR chair in white fiberglass.
As soon as my order was given I was informed that there would be some deliverytime, I accepted. In january 2013 i recieved an email that they have recieved my chair, but they had to sent it back becaus it was not in the quality they wanted, for the inconvenience I recieved a small compensation.
At the end of April my patienc ran out and I contacted INFURN to find out where my chair was, because I could se it had been shiped. I was met by a very helpfull and frindly service, Claudia and Sanna tryed the best the could to help me, writing emails and also calling me.
Finally at the end of may i recieved my chair :) And I LOVE IT - It is So beautiful and the quality is VERY VERY nice.
The reason for the delay - almost 2 months was not because of INFURN, but because of the shipping company in Denmark. When I talked with them, they said thats the chais had benn by the for a very long time, but the could not get in contact with me.... Hmmmm... They had my phone number, so why did'ent they call me ?? I wonder.

I give INFURN my recommendations, because of the quality ind the emplyees and off course also in the chair. it's Beautiful!

Customer service you can trust.

We ordered 4 eames chairs. When they first were to be delivered, they didnt get through INFURN´s quality control, and we were told to expect a delivery time of up to 8 weeks. As kompentation we got refunded 10% of our purchases.
We have been in contact with INFURN´s customer service throughout the process and they have been really nice and helpful. Simply put, INFURN stick to their promises

Infurn flop, Supporter Patrick Hoeller top!

I waited more than 14months for the refund of my money. I wrote more than 20 emails, tried more than 15 times to call the support, but no one took care for my concern, BUT Mr Patrick Hoeller. He managed that I got back my money, he informed me regularly and was very friendly. Thanks to Mr Hoeller!
If you still wait for some articles or your money I can only wish you to get Patrick Hoeller as your supporter.
