Needed a fan oven motor for a 13 year old Stoves double over. most companies did not bother to look just said it was to old. Interspares found it no problem. delivered in good time and now works perfectly. Saved me replacing a very good if old oven
Ordered a replacement oven element on Saturday, arrived following Friday in perfect condition and worked perfectly. It did take until Wednesday to get any sort of estimated delivery time which could have been better, but otherwise no problems.
Found my oven part easily on the website and ordered. I did email to ask their delivery times eg 2 -5 days as I could not locate this info on the website nor was the delivery method easily located eg royal mail or courier. I did not receive an answer to my email but a day later had an automatice dispatch notice. Item arrived by royal mail and was extremely well packaged to protect the order. I was concerned after reading the bad reviews and did hope I did not have to make a return as this seems to be the area people have complained about. The item was as described. I think the delivery info could be better displayed on the website so you have an idea how long you will be waiting.
Located part via google. Arrived quickly. Very satisfied although looking at some of the reviews I probably wouldn't have ordered from them if I had read them beforehand as some very dissatisfied customers. Would use again for small parts but would think twice about more expensive parts in view of some people needing refunds and not getting them.
i ordered a manual for a cooker - i received a call to confirm the price would be £10+ postage (approx 12.50) in total- when it arrived over a weeklater,it was a photocopy and not the original manual !!! OUTRAGEOUS price for 5 pages of photocopied paper (both sides granted...)
I ordered a door seal for my washer on 1.december 2011. The payment went through immediately and I got an auto-reply saying that I would recieve a mail when the goods would be shipped. Since then I´ve heard nothing, I´ve sent them several mails without getting a single answer, and I´m still waiting. I´m starting to think that this company is just out there to rob people.
I phoned through my order for a replacement inner glass oven door and seal. The lady on the other end of the phone was most helpful and polite. The goods arrived safely a few days later and fitted perfectly. I would definitely use Inter-spares again, a great service, thank you.
I ordered a door seal for a fridge October 10th 2011 and never did receive it, despite my credit card being charged almost immediately. (I've since successfully reversed that with Mastercard.) I phoned and e-mailed numerous times, but my voicemail messages and e-mails went unheeded. Now, the web site is unaccessible, and I can only assume that this company has gone out of business. Just a warning really for anyone who might have been considering placing an order with them. (If you could get through to them in the first place!) Steve, Truro, 26.11.11.
When I accidentally smashed the glass in my oven, I had visions of having to deal with an insurance company and being without my oven for weeks! Interspares supplied the glass for less than my excess within the week. The delivery driver also left it with my neighbour as we were not at home (usually they take it away again) so fullmarks also to the delivery firm.
No problem with SALES, however, I returned an unsuitable part for refund and despite several phone calls and emails they have never credited my visa account.
About 2 months later and I'm still waiting.
I have recently got Barclaycard involved and wait to see what happens.
Great shame, as I like to buy on-line and would have expected better.
You know how it is, one of the switches on the hob has been malfunctioning and finally dies, your heart falls at the inevitable drawn out search for a replacement. I didn't even remember the maker's name which had been eradictaed by years of cleaning....
Only five minutes on the web with a photo took me to interspares, who identified the required part and had it with me in eighteen hours...I ain't waiting so long next time...Brilliant and well done and many thanks
Found website and product needed via google. Ordering was fine and product turned up within a few days. As with other reviews a progress email might be useful, as I was about to check on progress of order as had heard nothing when product turned up.
Whilst the online item description was not precise enough to ensure that the micro switch in question was the one I wanted, it turned out to be the correct part.
Over £30 for a micro switch and a piece of wire was not exactly cheap.
Otherwise the service was excellent and it has saved me the cost of a new dishwasher.
Found this website after typing in the make of my oven in google. Thank goodness i found you because I thought I would have to buy a new oven. Parts delivered within a week. Only one niggle is and it is a small one. I ordered the part and was sent an email saying order was being processed and my money was taken the next day with no email indicating when part would be delivered. I rang customer services and advisor was very good and said it would be sent out next day. Think an email with progress update would therefore be good to send. Will definately use again for parts for my lamara oven.
I orderED a motor for our washing machine in July 2011. The motor arrived within a few days. The engineer then realised that I needed to order a control modules as well, which I promptly did given the good service I had had from Interspares thus far.
The module never arrived, and after trying to speak to Interspares's customer service department on the phone (countless messages left) and by email, and out of sheer frustration I went out and bought another washing machine.
I continued trying to contact Interspares to arrange the return of the motor and a refund but never go a reply. Their customer service extension is never manned, it seems, so I then tried choosing the sales extension, and that was when I spoke to a lady called [name removed], who after hearing my account instructed me to return the motor for a full refund and said that the part that had not been delivered would also been refunded.
I posted the motor back to them on [name removed] instruction and was expecting a refund. Several weeks went past and I eventually called my credit card company to enquire if a refund had been received from Interspares. No refund had been received, so I once again started attempting to contact Interspares.
I eventually spoke to [name removed], who appears to be the big wig in the company. He first said that they had not received the motor and that I was not acting in good faith. I then managed to find the certificate of posting and called him back the following day. By then, he confirmed that the motor had been received but because it had been bolted on to the machine, but never used, they would not refund any money to me. I tried to explain to [name removed] that the part was only returned because I did not receive the module and that after waiting for about one month I felt that I had waited enough and went out and bought another machine.
Simon said that their terms and conditions clearly stated that parts that had been fitted but not used would not be refunded. I checked their T&C and found nothing to that effect. He also promised that a refund for the part that never arrived would be made. After waiting for about one month, I contacted them again as I still had not received a refund and was told that it would be done there and then. I have now received only a partial refund because they saw fit to deduct the cost of returning the motor to them from the refund for the part that was never delivered.
So not only am I out of £92.00 paid for the motor, but they also took over £11.00 from the refund that they did process. I was instructed to use their Freepost returns service which now they have charged me for.
I will file a claim in the Small Claims Court and report this company to Trading Standards. I advise everyone out there not to deal with this company or with [name removed]. They are not serious and are out to rip people off. I wish I had read the reviews on this company before ordering anything from them. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED. DEAL WITH THEM AT YOUR OWN PERIL! Do your homework and search for reviews on this company. I wish I had done that before I had any dealings with them.
I am very pleased to review this company. I needed spare hinges for a SMEG refrigerator and was quoted £75 for one from OEM. I contacted Inter Spares who supplied two hinges for half this amount and delivered by Royal Mail in 3 days.
I returned a wrong dispatched part two weeks ago via post as instructed. This week i received a phone call asking if i still wanted the correct part to which i said yes, i was then informed that there would be an additional cost of approx 3 pounds that i agreed to.I asume that i am having to pay for postage again because of inter-spares error.
I asked for an e-mai to confirm my replacement part as yet no info.
Very pleased to review this company - I had been seeking a spare part for our fridge freezer without any success - until your representatitve called. Quickly sorted out/checked the part needed and ordered from Gorenje. Arrived by RMail within five days. Great service and dedication. Very happy with the whole service. Well Done.
I've purchased a number of spares for various appliances I have and has so far received great service. The items seem to be priced competitively and the delivery times have been pretty quick.
Overall, very happy
I recently bought a replacement bottle shelf for my fridge door.
On the plus side, the item was priced pretty much as I would expect, and arrived reasonably quickly. The item was well described on their website and fit my fridge model.
However, the bag it was wrapped in was torn, and it was very dirty/dusty inside, looking as though it had been in a warehouse for a long time and not very well looked after. It also had a couple of minor scratches on it.
Recently bought a new upper door tray for my fridge. Had had trouble finding one for my make and model of fridge and in this regard interspares where very helpful in finding one. A slight dissapointment was the condition of the tray when it arrived. Given the price, nearly £30, I had expected a new, still in it's sealed polythene bag, tray. Especially as we are talking food hygenie with fridges. When it arrived it had obviously been returned by a previous customer and then sat on a warehouse shelf, unwrapped, for some months. It was very dusty and had several marks on it, which proved quite difficult to clean off.
Once clean it was perfectly servicable so I did not return it. I still have a further order outstanding for a middle and a bottle door tray but as they have had to order theses from the manufacturer I hope these will arrive in better condition.
I have worked in a despatch dept. and had we found the only part had been previously returned we would have attempted to clean it before despatch or if unable to return it to an as new condition, contacted the customer and offered them a discount on the price or the opportunity ot re-order a new one or cancel the order.
Andrew Hynes Order no. 69640
Above order dated 08/082011. Door tray received damaged and immediately returned (along with original paperwork).
As at 30/08/11 still awaiting replacement part. Definitely will not be using this grossly inefficient Company again.
I had a prompt response to my email asking for details of a cooker element. I also had a phone call from Inter-spares, as I hadn't replied to their email (I was away from home)
1 phone call, to them, and the element was dispatched, arriving sooner than expected, well within their quoted timescale!
I couldn't have expected better service!
Ordered a part and had the money deducted from my card immediately. When part not delivered after 18 days queried the status of the order. After 3 more weeks and 3 attempts at an answer was told dismissively to check the local post office. I asked after that for a tracking or consignment number or for some other proof of posting so as to take up with Royal Mail but was ignored. Neither have they reimbursed me the purchase price. These people might be so incompetent that they don’t even know whether they despatched my order or not but as far as I am concerned they are cowboys.
A complete shambles. Confirmation of despatch mean nothing as when pressed staff admitted the item was never in stock, so was never sent. Two weeks later it still hasn't arrived despite more assurances that it had been sent.....
Chasing the order on the query line is a waste of time as it always seems to go to voicemail...or maybe the line is just constantly busy. Funny how you can get straight through on the sales line....
