Sent above basket as Birthday gift for son. Arrived late in day, presentation poor contents not particularly exciting laid on ' a bit of straw' in basket. Very deflated response. I have been disappointed with Interflora flowers in past but wanted to give them another chance after having abstained for many years. Oh Dear!! No improvement there then.
Ordered flowers for an anniversary and paid the premium for a morning delivery. They never came and after twice phoning I just was told the driver was 'confused' .... Load of BS. I cancelled the order.

Ordered flowers for a special birthday. Received a text saying that they had been delivered, but they hadn't. It was only when we saw the intended recipient that we realised that she had not received them as she didn't thank us, so we contacted Interflora to chase. They contacted the local florist, who remembered making the flowers up, but needed to speak to the boss / delivery man. Interflora would call us back, but they didn't. Chased again and this time I was informed that the florist delivery man was on holiday and could not be contacted, but did I want to cancel or have them re-delivered. I chose re-delivery and this time they were delivered, but 5 days later than the original birthday.
Poor customer service. We do not intend to use them again, but if you do don't believe the text that gets sent to you and confirm that the recipient has received the flowers.
I sent flowers for my wife's birthday because I had to work away on the day. They cost £35.00 and arrived at 19:00 after she had gone out for the evening, arriving home at 23:00, she put them in the garage overnight and opened them the next morning. One can only assume that they had spent the hot day rolling around in the back of a van as the flowers had many broken heads and were thrown away three days later.

Worst experience ever.
My partner had ordered flowers 3 days before our anniversary. Throughout the day they were to be delivered my partner had tracked the ordered which had said order had been received, ordered had been processed, order had been dispatched and that the order was out for delivery. As he had not heard by 4:30pm if they had been delivered he called InterFlora to find out what was happening. They told him they could see from their system that at 9am that morning that the warehouse had received the flowers to be delivered except the box and flowers had been damaged. Did they think not to tell him that the order wouldn't be delivered?! Their processing system is also misleading saying the flowers were out for delivery when in fact they were not. InterFlora then said they could deliver the flowers the following day, which defeats the point of sending them as it was our anniversary, but we chose to cancel the order and they offered a full refund. However the flowers have now arrived a day late, no water left in the bowl, flowers wilted, brown and droppy! Not what you expect from a £57.99 bouquet of flowers.
Unfortunately this is the second time InterFlora have messed up our order, the first being flowers we sent on Mother's Day that never arrived.
Placed an international order for friend who had been bereaved. Flowers were to be delivered 29 April canadian time. On 1 May it was clear that they still hadnt been delivered and i phoned interflora, got standard assurance, and advised they wld contact me to confirm everything in order- that didnt happen. Phoned again on 4 May, was told that they wld check it out and get back to me - that didnt happen. Phoned again on 5 May, told they would check it out and get back to me - yup, you guessed it - that didnt happen. Sent email on 6 May, and finally got a condescending call to say order had been delivered on time and signed for - what nonsense. They clearly hadnt bothered to even check it out. Only because i persisted did they finally call me on 8 May to say order had never even been processed in first place. Appalling ! Service and after sales are useless. But still I need to say thank you to the unhelpful Interflora, because of your dreadful service, i called a florist in canada the old fashioned way, and within two hours my friend received a really nice bouquet and at half the price ! Thats what i will be doing in future.
I ordered a bouquet of flowers for my mum to arrive on 20th March 2013 for her birthday. I was due to go on holiday a few days before so really wanted to surprise her as I wasn't going to be there.
On 20th February I return from work to find a bouquet of flowers in the hallway. First, I assumed they were for me as my birthday was 3 days later. But to my astonishment, they were for my mum. Arrived a whole month early. I double checked my confirmation e-mail to ensure I asked for the correct date...which I did. I called interflora and right away were saying it was an issue with the local florist. I called the florist and the said it was an issue with Interflora. So after calling around and wasting my time, I eventually spoke to someone at Interflora. She apologised for the confusion and asked if the florist could pick up the flowers and return them on the correct day. I thought this was pretty bizarre to be honest seeing as the surprise for my mum was already ruined. So I said no, explaining that the novelty has worn off. She apologised again and was going to hang up when I demanded some sort of compensation. She said, 'well, you have kept the flowers, and we aren't going to collect them from you.' Well, i'm sorry, but i've paid for a service that wasn't up to standard. Eventually I got a refund. Absolutely shoddy service and to be honest I was pretty heartbroken that my mums special day wasn't as special as I wanted it to be.
Having had a terrible experience with another online florist, I was hesitant to repeat the mistake. However, interflora really provided a great service. The flowers were delivered on the right day and looked exactly like the photo on the website.
I would definitely recommend. I actually don't believe a lot of these negative reviews.
My son ordered flowers for my birthday 10 days ago. Still not arrived even though they had 10 days notice, now 4 days later and still no refund or flowers. Just contact a local florist in the area DO NOT Use INTERFLORA waste of time and upset for everyone. Customer service non existant
I've placed 3 orders with Interflora, once in 2010, once in 2011 and once in 2013. Each order was for Mother's Day, which is probably one of the busiest periods, and they were delivered to three different towns.
All three orders arrived on the correct day, absolutely fine, and the recipient was really pleased with the flowers they received.
I had second thoughts about placing the most recent order, having read the other reviews, but I'm so glad I did and I'd definitely use Interflora again. It seems like when Interflora goes wrong, it goes very wrong, but this has never happened to me (touch wood) - though I'd be upset if it did!
The order form can be a little confusing (you need to be careful where to provide recipient details and where to provide your own details, otherwise the recipient will receive the confirmation messages instead of you!).

Flowers should have been here yesterday for my wife's birthday but did not arrive, no phone call, or message. Finally dumped on our doorstep at 4pm today, doorbell rang and no one there just the flowers in a box.
Opened the flowers to find them rather wilted and of poor quality, they were also cut far to short to go in the vase that arrive with the flowers, total amateurs.
I ordered flowers for delivery on Mothers Day (£14.99 delivery cost) for my soon to be Mother in law and I was devastated when (despite receiving a text to say they'd been delivered) they never arrived. Now after 2 days of stress involving emails and trying to contact interflora on the phone, I would whole heartedly advise everyone to steer clear of interflora. Disgraceful customer service.
The above is what I was told by an advisor when I rang to track my flowers, she had not taken my name or order number and assumed that was the case.
After waiting an hour for someone to answer on C/Services I was then told I couldn't have a refund until after 7.00pm and I would have to ring back - it was 6.50pm!(eventually it was actioned for me by a manager)
To top it all off I had an anwerphone message on Sunday 8.30am from the delivery company trying to deliver the flowers that should have been delivered on Friday to a business address.
Regardless of a discount voucher and the ease of online ordering I will now be supporting local flower shops in my area.
I got a text message saying the flowers and chocolates for Mothers Day had been delivered at 11.50am on Mothers Day, checked with my dad, no nothing arrived. Tried to ring Interflora but couldn't get through so phoned the florist who I thought might be delivering the flowers. They said there had been a glitch and that the flowers would be on their way that day. They did arrive at 2.30pm. My mum was amazed to open the door to a scruffy taxi driver who had a car full of bouquets, he handed her a bucket, yes a bucket, which had the flowers and the chocolates in. Luckily the chocolates were sealed in cellophane otherwise they'd have been very soggy from the water in the bucket. What happened to the flowers being delivered by a florist?? £15 is a lot to pay for a delivery! That wasn't the end to the disappointment, I ordered a large bouquet in a vase, and there is no way it is large, the normal sized one must be pretty pathetic, what we received bears litle resemblance to the lovely photo of the bouquet on the interflora website. I really wish I hadn't bothered spending £55 on a load of rubbish and a bad experience, I will spend my money elsewhere next year.
I bought a bunch of flowers for my mum, for Mother's Day. I ordered over a week before, and paid for them to be delivered the day before Mother's Day.
I paid £36, and was very excited as the picture of the bouquet I chose was beautiful. The flowers did not look like the picture, the picture was 9/10, what arrived was 3/10. When it arrived the bouquet looked tiny compared to the one photographed. There were hardly any flowers - at best, there were as many as you see in a supermarket bunch for £5. The flowers were different colours to those in the picture, and I had specifically chosen the bouquet for those colours - my mum's favourites. The flowers were also significantly different sizes to those in the picture, and this further altered the appearance of the bouquet I received from what I had chosen The decoration was frayed and damaged, the plastic wrapping was stuffed in the glass vase and it looked as if no effort was made.
The card was not handwritten as stated on the website, it was printed incorrectly (without apostrophes), onto a label and stuck in the card lopsided, again like no effort was made.
I don't usually complain, but I was so upset because they were for my mum for Mother's Day, it was the day before, and I couldn't replace them. I spent over an hour trying to get through to Interflora, they kept me on hold for ages, at a high price, and five times when I eventually got through the phone line was cut dead - it sounded like they hung up on me before I got a chance to speak. I imagine this may be because it was the day before Mother's Day and they were inundated with complaints. Perhaps it was a technical problem, but it occurred to me that the staff may have answered, then simply hung up after 5/10 seconds hoping people would just give up. Eventually I got through to a man, I told him the problem, he was not rude but he sounded like he was in a bad mood - this may of been his usual tone of voice though so I wouldn't like to accuse him of that. He put me on hold again whilst he spoke to the florist, then spoke to me and said the florist would come back with another bunch of flowers and take the first bunch. After an hour the florist came, with an equally disappointing bunch of flowers and he was clearly unhappy with me. I felt awkward and as though I had done something wrong. He didn't say anything bad, but was dominant and made me feel I had to accept the flowers, i felt as though i was being picky and rude. I showed him the picture from interflora of what it was supposed to look like in my defence and he just shrugged and shook his head.
I wouldn't say it ruined Mother's Day, but it really affected me on Saturday, I couldn't sleep that night because I was playing over it in my head. I don't like to complain and I felt guilty about it, but interflora are wrong to advertise with pictures of flowers they don't deliver. I felt upset about the florist being annoyed with me, but I was really hurt that I paid for a product I didn't get. I don't care about me enough to complain, but I love my mum more than anything, and I chose a really nice gift especially and what I had to give to her wasn't very nice. It took away the special-ness and the good feeling... It felt jaded and traumatic... I would never buy from Interflora again, if you're lucky enough to get a good florist in your area who replicates the photograph then you may be fine. But it's clearly hit and miss, and if you are like me you will end up wishing you had gone in a store and chosen them yourself.
The bouquets pictured on the interflora website are a fair price for there beauty - although expensive, it's a worthwhile little bit of luxury to make someone feel special. However, the bouquet delivered looked nothing like those pictured and was extremely bad value for money.
And the madness came from a very disappointed husband - when I found out how much he had paid the madness came from me!!! The first time for some years we were lucky enough to have my mother-in-law with us for Mothers Day, so my husband had ordered 2 lots of flowers from Interflora paying £40 for EACH - when they arrived - both arrangements had cards addressed to my M-in-L (first thing that got him cross), then my card was missing (just the wrongly addressed envelope) which made him furious - then we come to the flowers. Broken/missing flower heads/poorly arranged/very few flowers and NOTHING like the photos. Still trying to sort things out with the Customer Centre - gave up trying on the phone - have now emailed. TESCO offered 4 x the quantity and quality for £20!!!!!!
I spent £80 on flowers for delivery the day before Mothers Day. I received an email on delivery day saying they were out for delivery, they weren't delivered. I phoned up customer services and after a long wait on the phone I was told they were "at the depot" that's all the explanation customer services could give me. After pushing her she offered me a 25% discount for late delivery. When the flowers arrived on Mothers Day (a day late) the box was damaged and soaking wet and had been crudely taped up. All the water from the vase had drained away and some of the flowers were damaged. I phoned up customer services again and was offered replacement flowers which I pointed out the representative was pretty pointless given they were for Mother's Day, I was offered a "voucher" but held out for another discount.
I ordered flowers, champagne and chocolate for my mum for Mother's Day (£75). I was told it would be delivered the day before Mother's Day. I was sent a misleading email on the day of planned delivery by Interflora saying it was on its way. By 7pm nothing....This was repeated on the phone when someone on their customer service line finally took my call. I sent an email complaint. The response?? They just turned around and said they were not going to deliver but would refund my money, leaving me no time to get anything sorted for my mum! I'm disgusted. I would advise everyone to avoid Interflora. They seem to me to just get by on being the biggest and being able to act independently of customers' concerns. They seem a lot better at taking the money from your card than they are at actually delivering on their promises.
What you see if most certainly NOT what you get with this company, I was disgusted by what my mother recived on Mothers day for £47.00 (it ruined the whole day) LIDL was 10 times better for £10! horrible and i had to ask for the appology from the woman on the phone after 15 mins (90p)waiting to get through while it was on 30 secs to make an order
I ordered a spring perfect gift large bouquet for my mother in Aberdeen, what was delivered bore no resemblance whatsoever - it wasn't even similar and had about 7 flowers in it with 2 of them withered. I called customer services who took ages to get through to, they agreed a no hassle replacement bouquet and apologised.....an hour later a manager rang and said they were wrong to to this and that I had to allow the florist the chance to put the problem right ( despite the fact they should have done this from the start) I advised mum would be stressed if an unhappy florist was sent to the door to ask for flowers back....none the less they insisted this happened. I made collection arrangements only to find out the florist rang my mother whose details were given on the original order....told her what she thought of our complaint, made arrangements to collect the flowers then hung up.......absolutely shocking....customer services refunded but couldn't have cared less..........I got the impression it happens all the time.
Used Interflora in Bicester for Valentine's Day. Ordered 12 Roses . Paid extra for a vase, balloon and chocolate's. Received 7 roses and no vase. I e-mailed them 3 times and have yet to receive an answer. Called and was told the flowers were accepted at the door. Guess when you are trying to surprise your wife, with Interflora, you should give up the surprise part, let her know exactly what's coming so she can expect to turn down the flowers at the door. This was my first and last time using Interflora. I'd rather use a company who charges more but knows how to treat customers and get orders correct.
Valentines day flowers never arrived, DESPITE getting an e-mail confirming they were on their way. Phone message received the next day (15th) asking if I still wanted the flowers but could not get back through to them - phone call cut off after waiting on hold for 10 minutes. 2 days later received e-mail to say will be refunded. Will never take the risk of ordering flowers for a special occasion again, as it causes too much upset if it is thought the day has been forgotten. I would be prepared to forgive if the gravity of the failure seemed to be recognised, but unable to speak to a person, and no attempt to keep me as a customer. Seem to feel customers can be shed at will, too many it seems.
Delivery of Valentines flower gift to my partner was duly made on time - However when she brought them home it was clear that they were not what i ordered and there was no vase which i paid extra for.
Since 9am on Fri 15th Feb i have constantly tried to contact Interflora by phone only to get recorded messages to the effect 'It's a busy period try again later. - Have E-Mailed a complaint and still no response.
God know's what the phone calls will cost (It says 5p per minute).
This is a massive evasion of their reponsibility to their customers and suggest everyone avoids them like 'the plague'................
I see others have experienced similar frustrations and the C.E.O of Interflora should be ashamed or made aware of this!...........
There is a section on the order where you enter the recipient name, phone and email. When I placed the order Interflora sent the order confirmation to the recipient instead of me, totally spoiling the surprise!
Not only did they fail to deliver anything (even a day late), there have been no replies to any of my 3 emails and I have failed to get to speak to a live person despite waiting for ages on the phone (being charged 5p per minute for the privilege).

Clearly there is a serious issue with Interflora judging by all the comments below. I am another highly disgruntled customer having paid £53 for a bouquet of flowers to be delivered on Valentines day. Nothing has arrived, there is no email explaining what has happened and surprise surprise they can't take my call as they are too busy. Even stranger however is that when I tried the order number I got straight through so they are clearly still taking people's money although they are not answering current customers concerns over orders that haven't arrived. I an contacting Trading Standards and suggest that others do the same. DO NOT waste your money on placing an order, they clearly cannot be trusted.

Ordered flowers for my girlfriend on the 11th feb, they didn't arrive yesterday (she was in all day), and no explanation. They had both mine and her phone numbers and none of us were called. I filled in a complaint yesterday evening online and still no response to that. Tried calling their customer services line and no answer (tried ten times!). Not only am I in the doghouse with my gf, but i've had 60quid stolen from interflora. If I could give them a negative rating I would, beyond awful. Never use them.
I ordered a gift for my husband and it has not been delivered. I have emailed the Customer Service line twice and someone will "contact me shortly"! I have phoned repeatedly all morning (it is now 14.30) and no-one answres the phone. Too many complaints? Luckily my husband just laughed but I am now very annoyed and won't use the service again. Reading the reviews here, it seems that many others have been disappointed.

I ordered flowers to be delivered to my girlfriends place of work for Valentines day - the flowers were NOT delivered.
I tried to call Interflora on the day, and could not get through via the telephone. I sent an email and had no response. The following day I tried to get through on the telephone and again was unsuccessful. I sent another email again with no response. I called their "sales" team and managed to reach someone (funny how they won't answer the phone on customer service, but will answer the sales line). I was given no explanation and they refused to refund me, they advised, they needed to speak to the florist. I was placed on hold whilst they tried to reach the florist, only to be told they could not get through. My refund request was still denied. I demanded to speak to a manager, who authorised my refund. However, no explanation was given and no apology. Suffice to say this has left a bitter taste and left both myself and my partner very disappointed.
Awful. 15 February and my order has still not been delivered. I cannot get through to anybody on the phone. I can only assume that the company is about to go bust and that I just lost my money. STAY WELL AWAY FROM THIS TERRIBLE OPERATION. There is clearly something very wrong with them...............
VALENTINES ORDER HAS STILL NOT BEEN DELIVERED! I can't believe it, my order has been 'out for delivery' for 24hrs now! It said it would come yesterday after 9 and still nothing!!! Haven't answered emails, no answer on there phones just terrible. Do not order from these!!!!!!
I ordered a bunch of flowers from this company on 11th February, using a Groupon voucher. They were a valentine's day present. They should have been delivered ON valentine's day. However, it is now after 10pm, and they are yet to appear. This just isn't good enough.
They shouldn't be offering a service They can't provide. I have called and tried over 20 times to get your website to work with the Groupon Code. It took three days to order them due to the fact your groupon codes were invalid. I'm not at all happy with the neglectful service I have received.
I ordered from Interflora with trust of a big name, over the other flower sites and how wrong could I have been!!! A email saying my flowers for my girlfriend were dispatched at 9.30am and she gets a call at 7.55pm saying " hello we're outside your office but its not open, where should we leave them" are they kidding 2 hours after the latest delivery time and the best " should we deliever tomorrow morning " the most unprofessional girl on the phone. absolute shambles and I see I'm not the only one to get such a bad service and there contact centre unreachable shock. I would never recommend these guys to anyone.
