I had ordered a parcel and got a text from Intrlink to say it would be delivered on Thursday, however if this was not convenient I could change it. It wasnt so I did. I changed it to Friday, I checked the tracking and sure enough it now said that it would be delivered on Friday. Great, so far so good. Friday came and nearly went, no parcel, so then I checked the tracking again only to find it now said your parcel will be delivered on Monday as you requested. NO I DID NOT!!!. Then i TRIED to contact Interlink. There appears to be no way of actually speaking to anyone. My parcel was being held at the Lincoln depot, so I Googled the depot. The first number I found was unobtainable, on dialling a second number i heard a voice saying that this nimber does not take incoming calls, how very convenient. so then I phoned directory enquiries and eventually got through. The young man on the other end of the phone was quite polite and apologised but said that my parcel had been left off the delivery because it was Christmas and we lived too far from Lincoln!!! Hr assured me it would be delivered on Monday. When I explained there would be no one in to sign on Monday he suggested it could be left in a safe place , then I would not need to sign, he then also suggested that I leave a note on the front door telling the driver where to leave the parcel. That's ok then, tell the world the house is empty and there is a parcel in the open garage. It was eventually agreed he would leave a message for the driver.
On Monday morning I got a text to say my parcel would arrive between 12.15 and 1.15. I was full of hope. At 12.00 I got another text saying the driver was delayed and would TRY to deliver by 18.00. My heart sank, would I ever get the parcel? I was so angry and worried by now, it was an important parcel. Then lo and behold at 12.30 my parcel arrived. I told the driver that apparantly hed been delayed, but he said there had been a hold up on the A1 so the text had been sent to cover themselves!!
All's well that ends well but I was so stressed by the whole experience that I will try never to have parcels delivered by them again, and I shall be contacting the company I originally bought from to let them know my and by the looks of the reviews many other people's experience.
So you're waiting for a package and you have a doctor's appointment at 11:20. You get an email from Interlink Express to tell you that the window for delivery is 10:35 - 11:35. You panic. The doctors can't get you another appointment for weeks. You click on the link to follow the driver and you realise that he's going to be - EARLY! Great news. I was able to follow the driver around Hammersmith as he delivered his parcels and could plan - to a ten minute window - when he'd come.
This is revolutionary in the delivery market. As a customer, HIGH FIVE people. As a product manager, I hope I can deliver something as useful in my professional career.
InterLink Express have been a nightmare to deal with.
I get a lot of deliveries and this is my first time dealing with them, and I guarantee I will not be ordering from a website that uses them again.
They apparently attempted to deliver my parcel on November 27th- I am not arguing this, but there was no calling card left.
I had to contact the sender directly to get in touch when I realised I must have missed them. They gave me a number to call and I had to ring for over an hour to get through to somebody.
I rearranged my delivery for a Thursday and took a day off work, only to check the tracker and see that I had been rescheduled for Friday- A total waste of a day off.
Again, I waited on Friday and nothing came. I rang again and explained- Admittedly, the customer service was lovely- and promised it would be sent out this morning (Saturday).
It has been out for delivery since 8.55am this morning with no other clue (i.e. Hour window) of when it will arrive. I tried calling but to no answer.
3 days wasted waiting for a parcel. Unacceptable.
I am so cross right now, I can hardly type. It's the total, cynical lack of customer care that drives me mad. I had a message, this morning, saying that my parcel would be delivered between 14.24 and 15.24 today. It even included a link to a natty tracking device showing exactly where 'my' delivery driver (Marcel, if he even exists), had reached.
At 3pm, 'Marcel' was 15 minutes away from my door.
Then...nothing. Once they have failed to make the delivery, the map disappears. No message, no updated delivery time, nothing.
I wasted a day of my annual leave. I sat in the house, without even putting the radio on so that I could be sure to hear the door. It's gone 5pm now. The dogs haven't been walked, I haven't done anything and I don't have my parcel. And you know what? The Customer Service line costs 10p a minute to call. How dare they?
What happens now? Do I get another message, in the morning, suggesting I spend another day waiting for Marcel? I never waited around for a man in my life and I feel pretty stupid having done so now.
If you are a retailer, don't use Interlink. If you are awaiting a delivery, don't hold your breath.
I initially thought this company was brilliant, due to the speedy contact and delivery arrangements, and the texts that they sent me. I was initially told that it was going to be delivered on Thursday, and I successfully changed it to Friday without a problem.
However, I initially got an email saying it would be delivered between 9:50-10:50. The next morning, I got an email saying that it would be delivered between 10:40-11:40. After waiting around until 12:30 (I don't mean to complain but I did have to change my plans to accommodate this!), I tracked my parcel to see why it wasn't here, and found that apparently I had "successfully changed my tracking date (again) to Saturday."
I definitely hadn't done this, and so after calling the company whose product it was that was being dispatched, I was asked to call interlink.
My problems were:
1) The change of date (without telling me, and then acting as if I had done it on the website, rather than admitting the mistake and apologising)
2) The phone number for contacting interlink was VERY difficult to find.
3) When I called, I was told that it couldn't be delivered until 4:30pm. When I informed them that I would no longer be in then, we tried to arrange redelivery. I am going to be free on Tuesday morning, but I was told that there would be no guarantee that it would be a morning delivery. We've currently left it as redelivery on Tuesday, but if the time that I get emailed is an afternoon time, I will have to arrange redelivery AGAIN.
In fairness, the lady on the phone was apologetic - apparently there was a problem with the driver's handheld computer. The willingness to redeliver is good and hopefully we will be able to arrange a good time for collection eventually. It has just been very frustrating as I have waited in all morning for something that hasn't arrived, when I already have a very difficult schedule to find free time for things like this!
Luckily it's not a Christmas present so I'm not feeling too much pressure just yet!
I was supposed to receive a parcel last Friday. As I live on a boat I get things delivered to a friend's house, which has worked well with many companies. Because my friend told me there wouldn't be anyone home at the specified delivery time I decided to go there and wait for it, as it was important to have it for the weekend.
So I met the driver, showed him my ID and the texts and emails on my phone from Interlinkexpress, but he refused to give me the parcel with my name because I was not inside the property. And for some reason he didn't leave a calling card, which made things complicated as the only way to reschedule a delivery or pick up from the depot is with a calling card.
So I wrote to them telling them I wanted to collect myself and get this over and done, but they took their time to reply, and only offered to redeliver. I asked for a delivery ASAP, but again they are taking their time to reply, more than a day, which is ridiculous for a courier service. So it is early Thursday now, no answer, so probably won't get it today, so it will be a full week delay, for no reason, bearing in mind that had they replied with a depot address on Monday this would have been sorted then, I would have collected in person, I offered to make it all very simple.
I can't remember been so completely in touch with where my parcel was - why arn't all delivery companies like you!
I had updates on date and time of arrival and even easy options to offer an alternative drop point or delivery date. Excellent service.

I live in a small village and my husband spotted the driver over the other side of the village so shouted across to him and ran toward him to be completely ignored and watch as the driver just drove off. He got home to a text message 'Your Interlink parcel has been delayed as no one was in to sign for it'!!!!!
You went to completely the wrong house - what on earth is going on! If he had bothered to ask anyone where our house was (what about asking the man running across to him) he would have found it.
I've now rearranged delivery as I can't travel to the "nearest" depot - which isn't that near by the way. But it is impossible to speak to someone to make sure your driver goes to the right house next time! So what's he to do - stand outside someone elses house and wait for your driver???
Received this email at 10h12:
"Your MandM Direct order will be delivered today between 16:23-17:23"
I then had a link to follow 'Terry', the delivery man every step of the way. To the amusement of the office we did so every 15 minutes to see how well he would fare seeing that I was number 46 on his list of deliveries.
At 16h30 there was a knock on the door and I met Terry with his friendly demeanour and my parcel! I do think this was the best delivery experience that I have had in the past 3 years.
"Your parcel has been delivered and signed for by FICK at 16:35 on Mon 02 Dec 2013"
As an office we have decided to always use Interlink Express in the future.

I've ordered from a UK-based website and InterLink is in charge of delivering, and all along transit, i was able to track my parcel, at every step.
Due to an address mistake i've made when filling up the order form on the website, they've returned the parcel to the sender, and that sender is taking care of expediting the parcel once again. The delivery city that i've entered in my address was faulty, but my postcode was not; so maybe -maybe- InterLink could have double checked, but maybe -maybe- they did not want to take the risk and they've preferred to returned the parcel to the sender.
So far, the InterLink Client Support Team has been very responsive, has been up to the task as to tracking my parcel, of keeping me informed what the next was going to be, etc..., all in a very short period of time. They've answered every question mailed to them by me in a very quick and efficient manner. Now i'm expecting my parcel once again after that i've corrected my own mistake and am pretty confident that InterLink will deliver.
I ordered something, took a day off work. Delivery was supposed to be today. Was even given a 1 hour time slot. All day the tracking web page said "out for delivery". Time slot passed, emailed customer service asking when it will be delivered. No response.
Waited a few hours, email again. No response.
Contacted sender, they tried to contact interlink, but could not get a response.
Waited a bit more, emailed again, still no response.
All this time the package was "out on delivery". Out where, no one could find out as interlink was not responding to any contact.
Eventually it was returned to the depot. No attempt was made for delivery, no explanation was given.
Now it says " As requested, your parcel will now be delivered on Mon 02 December 2013 ". No such request was made. I did not make this request. Why was this delivery rescheduled without any contact with me? Who made this request? Again, I've asked interlink, but no response.
If anyone from interlink can be bothered to read this, do not bother to try to deliver on Monday, it will fail.
Customer service with this company is a joke. You cannot deliver when you say you will, and you cannot be bothered to answer any emails. Both the sender & receiver get no response.
I will be avoiding any vendors who use interlink in the future. If anyone from interlink can be bothered to read this, do not bother with a reply. I will be dealing with the sender, they will be dealing with you.
Last week I was compelled to write a bad review about another company, and today I was blown away by this one.
I received a friendly email letting me know my parcel would be with me today. I was given links to track it.
This morning first thing, the update told me the parcel had been received at the local office.
The next update told me the drivers name, an hour time slot for delivery and where I was in the que. It also gave me gps tracking so I could literally see where was the driver was and a precise eta! Amazing!
This meant I could go out and do some shopping! I was able to track my parcel all the way from the depot to the door. The most amazing thing was the parcel turned up bang on time. My time slot was 14:48 to 15:48. The driver came at 14:50. If only other companies used gps like this. An efficient service, top class. Thank you.
I had a package delivered yesterday by Interlink Express. On Tuesday I got an email telling me my package would be delivered on Wednesday, the email also told me how to track my package. Early on Wednesday morning I did an online track and the info told me my package would be delivered by Steve between 12.22pm and 1.22pm . My wife and I were delighted because we wanted to go to M&S for a coffee and do a bit of shopping. When we got home I decided to do another check, and this time up came a map of the local area which pinpointed our house and the exact location of the delivery van together with the time the van was expected to get to us. The driver, Steve, a happy chap from the Basingstoke Depot arrived almost exactly on time. A great service which I would happily recommend to anyone.
I have been tracking my delivery for the last day expecting it to be delivered this morning. I received an e mail at 3 30 this morning to say sorry your delivery has been delayed and it should be sorted in the next 24 hours. This is unacceptable as I have now took a day off work to take delivery and it's now saying it will be tomorrow. Also the package is a live tree which won't appreciate being stuck in a box for another 24 hours. No options to go and pick up my delivery ether. not very impressed with the service
I was given a time slot between 1:30 - 2:30 today that my order will be delivered. I patiently waited since 1.25 p.m. and at 2.05 p.m. I found a card under my doorstep that the courier had missed me? How could you have missed me when I was at home all day? Your courier man did not knock or ring the door bell. He simply assumed no one was in, not bothered to wait for a few seconds and left a card for me to arrange redelivery. When trying to call the number on the calling card which was an 0844 number, it was utterly useless because it led to an automated answer machine with no option to speak to an actual person. I wasted £££ on telephone calls only to be answered by machine. What a joke! By the way can you please tell me where is my order as I need them URGENTLY and you missing the delivery is having a big impact on me. And I refuse to go to your depot to collect my order as it is miles away and I am 39 + weeks pregnant which is why I stressed that my order is urgent.
I have received 3 text messages for a parcel I know nothing about, with no detail as to where the parcel is to be delivered (home/work etc). I have now tracked the parcel online, only to be told it has been delivered and signed for by someone I have never heard of! Again, no mention of the address to which the parcel was delivered. To date, I haven't seen the parcel!!!!!
I have tried to call Interlink Express, only to be directed to a useless tracking system, rather than being given an option to speak with Customer Services.
I have resorted to completing an online Customer Services form, but going by previous experience, I don't expect much luck.
Terrible service, and I would in no way recommend you as a courier company.
You guys are excellent! I really appreciated being given not only a delivery date, but the hour within which it would be delivered. Thank you David for a prompt, friendly and pleasant delivery. Awesome!!
Received text today saying parcel will be here between 10.30 and 11.30. Then received message at 11am saying delivery failed because nobody was in and a card had been left! I have been sat here waiting and nobody has come to my door. Neither has a calling card been left. The automated phone line is useless because none of the options apply. No, I am not going to pick it up myself from your depot 20 miles away!
I was expecting my parcel this afternoon at the times stated on the tracking facility. I was in the house all day and checked the tracking a few times, knowing the delivery of my parcel was due next I went to the kitchen where I saw the delivery van outside. All good I thought, then the driver walked up my drive with a card in his hand and was trying to put it in letterbox as I opened the door. I was then told my parcel had been delivered to my neighbour, because I wasn't in!!! I won't bore you with the details of the following argument with this rude man but he was adamant he had knocked at door ( I have a dog who barks at slightest noise). I immediately rang the local depot to complain and to be fair they were apologetic and said would speak to driver.
I went over to my neighbour after this who then told me she had watched the driver pull up in van on their CCTV and at no time did the driver come to my door only to hers with her parcel and said can I leave this with you too.
I am so mad I daren't ring back as I may say something I regret!
This issue seems quite common from some of the reviews on this site, Interlink seem to employ liars with no idea of how to deliver a service.
What I can't get my head round is the guy had to walk up my drive to deliver card so why not deliver my parcel?
As I say in the title I do not like to be lied to and made out to be a liar myself very disappointing.
I booked a next day delivery by 10 am. I booked it on Tuesday midday and booked the collection for Wednesday. I prepared my parcels and left to concierge. The first day the courier dind't show up, so I left a message to the customer service and called Birmingham deposit the morning after. They assured me that they told me the courier ran out of time on Wednesday, but that Thursday he would pass and collect my parcels. I was a bit pissed off by the fact that I payed a next day delivery and that my parcel should have been already in London Thursday morning, but ok, I decided to give them a second possibility.
Just to check Thursday afternoon I called concierge and he told me my parcels were still there... What?!?! I immediately called the deposit and sent a message (no phone number was on the website) to the customer service. They told me they had a problem with an employee that was 2 days in a row not collecting anything in my area... Unluckly the best they could do was to collect them the next morning (Friday) and deliver on Monday... They could not deliver them on Saturday as 'it will cost more'.... Sorry... I paid a next day deliver by 10 am on Wednsday... you are already 2 days late and you cannot deliver on Saturday..
I simply asked a refund (that I'm waiting) as sincerely, if you failed to collect... how can I be sure you can deliver....
Sincerely, I hope it is just an isolated case, but... how do you select your employees? And, as customer care, if you see that you did all wrong, at least you should try to fix it by delivering the parcels as soon as possible, Saturday or not!
Will not use them anymore.
Interlink are good, I tracked my parcel at various times, and it arrived when they said it would, although I had a prior booked dental appointment at the same time as the delivery time, I gave instruction for it to be left with my next door neighbour, and it was no problem for Interlink, Well done Alda my delivery driver! recommended!
Given 1 hour delivery window for yesterday & I was in all day. Received text to say they attempted delivery but no one in to sign for, calling card left however there IS NO calling card & I was in. No contact number to speak to anyone so email sent and still no reply! So have they been to someone elses address or not bothered at all?! Their automated options are not applicable as I don't want to change the address or day etc! Can't even do that now anyway without calling card. Not happy.
Brilliant service arrived precisely on time as they always do. Sorry if others may have had a problem but for me Interlink Express are Number One!
When I know the courier is Interlink, I am very happy and no I'm not an employee, I'm just a very satisfied customer!
Received a text stating the parcel would be delivered on 7th November followed by another text on the morning of the 7th stating my 1 hour delivery window. So far so good. However the parcel did not arrive so I went online to check the tracking details. The parcel was supposedly out for delivery but there was a message stating that they could not deliver as there was no item to exchange. I contacted their customer service dept to ask for an explanation but have had no reply.
I hadn't previously experienced use of this courier before- but I have to say the service from start from to finish was excellent! I got both text and email instructions every step of the way- advising me of when my package would be delivered and even who the driver was. Unfortunately, I couldn't be at my address to sign for the package on the first delivery so the driver could not deliver my 'to be signed for parcel'- but I was notified of my options by email, and a card was left with all the information I needed. I was able to rearrange delivery the next day to my work address, after confirming with my shipper. I also got a text to say my parcel would be delivered between 11.30-12.30 by Brian, and the package arrived at exactly 11.30! I cannot complain even in the slightest about this top rate service- It is fantastic! I just wish other courier services would learn a few tips from these guys...I won't name and shame- but I have had some bad experiences in the past from other delivery companies, which had resulted in me avoiding using them alltogether. Thank you Interlink for renewing my faith in courier delivery services. I shall use you again.
Like other reviews, I was told a delivery would be made on a particular day - even that the parcel was out for delivery - and waited all day from 7am to gone 8 p.m.. Guess what no delivery.
On phoning the local depot, they were most unhelpful, telling me their driver couldn't manage all the deliveries that day and it would be delivered the following day. Apparently there was no way to arrange for delivery unless I remained in, which would mean a third attempt at delivery as I was unable to do so. The depot is 40 miles away so there was no way I would do their work for them and collect the parcel. Clearly this firm considers they are doing you an immense favour making a delivery, a sentiment held by a few of the courier firms. Use Royal Mail instead - at least they are customer friendly
i was due to receive a parcel today (received text confirmation), waited at home all day (my day off work) i had paid for 1-2 day delivery and my parcel never turned up, angry and feel that i have wasted money on this company
Got my delivery text saying it would arrive between 1301 - 1401 on the 5th of November. Waited until 1600 and decided to call the depot to find out where my parcel was that I paid next day delivery for. They said the driver broke down and was running late however nothing was cancelled. So I waited until 1730 and still no deliver so I called back and the lady that answered said that the driver was still delivering and nothing was cancelled I should have it in the next 30 min. I asked here when should I call back if I have not received it and she told me to call this number at 1800 if I had not received it. So 1800 came around and nothing so I called back and wouldn't you know they were closed for the day and nobody to answer the phone. So firstly I took the day off for my parcel that I paid next day delivery for which happened to be a part for my dishwasher. I did not take my dishwasher apart until I got a text from interlink telling me what time my parcel was going to come. Also not once did interlink contact me to tell me my parcel was going to be late or not even going to come. What kind of delivery service are they running well I will tell you not a very reliable one.
Very pleased with this company and it's delivery drivers. My frozen goods supplier has used this company previously and I have always been impressed with the system. They use a predictive email system and send you a map on which you can follow the progress of your order. Having been impressed before with past deliveries, today was no exception. My order came right in the middle of the given hour and the driver was courtesy enshrined. It was also raining heavily at the time and he was not put out at all. Top marks all round.
I have taken the day off work to await delivery of my parcel. I received a text telling me it will be delivered in the next ten minutes, and then ten minutes later a text saying delivery had failed because 'nobody was in to receive the parcel' . In all this time I hadn't strayed more than 5m from my front door. I can only assume the delivery driver didn't want to get his hair wet in the rain. So then I try to contact Interlink. But as far as I can tell they don't speak to humans, there is only a computer which eventually hung up on me when I fail to blame myself for the problem. And this all behind a premium rate phone number! Very poor indeed!
Missed the delivery on Wednesday when it was first delivered,so I had to arrange for the parcel to be redelivered.
Went onto the Interlink website, really easy to rearrange and chose the following Monday as this was the day that suited me.
First thing Monday morning I received an e-mail giving me the estimated delivery time, between 10.10am and 11.10am,the drivers name, Martin and I could even track where the delivery van was.
At 10.15am Martin was at the door with my parcel. A really nice, friendly man a credit to the company.
I'm so glad that I missed the first delivery now, otherwise I wouldn't have known what a great service this company delivers.
Couldn't rate them highly enough, a truly First Class Service.
Thank You Interlink Express
Booked this parcel with Interlink Direct at 11:00 for same day collection. Website defaulted to 2 day delivery service, which I didn't notice.
16:45, no collection. Tried using the customer service contact form 3 times, no response. Eventually found a number in the Sun(!) and got through to a customer service person. Apparently the driver was scheduled to pick it up by 13:00, hadn't managed it and hadn't told the depot, so they couldn't schedule another driver to come pick it up!!!!!!!!!!
Because the service was mistakenly booked on a two day, I cancelled and rebooked because I had promised the customer to get it there the next day. I couldn't use my £5 voucher again, so that proved to be useless in the end, and I had to go 6 miles and back to their depot to drop it off. So not only has this cost me an extra £5 for the delivery, it has also cost me the price of getting to the depot and back by taxi!
I ordered an item on Monday Evening and recieved the item of Wednesday Morning within the window advised by the Emails.
The Driver Tim was smartly dressed, courteous and polite with a ready smile. He apologised that he had visisted an incorrect adress as our street has houses of the same number thanks to poor planning by the council. He could have taken the item back and simply advised of incorrect addressing or simply outcarded the job and returned the item to base allowing the resident to contact me to resolve the issue. BUT DIDN'T.
He found the correct address which could have affected his planned schedule.
The company image as we see it is delivered by the guy at the end of the change, Customer care is delivered not only by training but by a staff members been driven by a will to succeed and deliver their own job satisfaction (Well Done Tim )
I paid for a collection for the 29th of October from my office however no one has shown up.
I have sent two requests for customer support on their website but no one has responded to me or my Twitter message to them. I can't seem to find a telephone number to speak to anyone other than some automated sales teller.
Delivery service from this company is generally very reliable, however organising a simple collection (not 5 mins walk from the DPD Aberdeen hub) has proven to be a terrible mistake.
