I have taken the day off work to await delivery of my parcel. I received a text telling me it will be delivered in the next ten minutes, and then ten minutes later a text saying delivery had failed because 'nobody was in to receive the parcel' . In all this time I hadn't strayed more than 5m from my front door. I can only assume the delivery driver didn't want to get his hair wet in the rain. So then I try to contact Interlink. But as far as I can tell they don't speak to humans, there is only a computer which eventually hung up on me when I fail to blame myself for the problem. And this all behind a premium rate phone number! Very poor indeed!
Missed the delivery on Wednesday when it was first delivered,so I had to arrange for the parcel to be redelivered.
Went onto the Interlink website, really easy to rearrange and chose the following Monday as this was the day that suited me.
First thing Monday morning I received an e-mail giving me the estimated delivery time, between 10.10am and 11.10am,the drivers name, Martin and I could even track where the delivery van was.
At 10.15am Martin was at the door with my parcel. A really nice, friendly man a credit to the company.
I'm so glad that I missed the first delivery now, otherwise I wouldn't have known what a great service this company delivers.
Couldn't rate them highly enough, a truly First Class Service.
Thank You Interlink Express
Booked this parcel with Interlink Direct at 11:00 for same day collection. Website defaulted to 2 day delivery service, which I didn't notice.
16:45, no collection. Tried using the customer service contact form 3 times, no response. Eventually found a number in the Sun(!) and got through to a customer service person. Apparently the driver was scheduled to pick it up by 13:00, hadn't managed it and hadn't told the depot, so they couldn't schedule another driver to come pick it up!!!!!!!!!!
Because the service was mistakenly booked on a two day, I cancelled and rebooked because I had promised the customer to get it there the next day. I couldn't use my £5 voucher again, so that proved to be useless in the end, and I had to go 6 miles and back to their depot to drop it off. So not only has this cost me an extra £5 for the delivery, it has also cost me the price of getting to the depot and back by taxi!
I ordered an item on Monday Evening and recieved the item of Wednesday Morning within the window advised by the Emails.
The Driver Tim was smartly dressed, courteous and polite with a ready smile. He apologised that he had visisted an incorrect adress as our street has houses of the same number thanks to poor planning by the council. He could have taken the item back and simply advised of incorrect addressing or simply outcarded the job and returned the item to base allowing the resident to contact me to resolve the issue. BUT DIDN'T.
He found the correct address which could have affected his planned schedule.
The company image as we see it is delivered by the guy at the end of the change, Customer care is delivered not only by training but by a staff members been driven by a will to succeed and deliver their own job satisfaction (Well Done Tim )
I paid for a collection for the 29th of October from my office however no one has shown up.
I have sent two requests for customer support on their website but no one has responded to me or my Twitter message to them. I can't seem to find a telephone number to speak to anyone other than some automated sales teller.
Delivery service from this company is generally very reliable, however organising a simple collection (not 5 mins walk from the DPD Aberdeen hub) has proven to be a terrible mistake.
I ordered two parcels for next day delivery. One came fine and was great, the other didn't show. I decided to leave it a day and see if it would arrive. Still nothing. I tried using the tracker but there is no information. I need the package for today. Very disappointed tbh.
Got a text telling me my delivery would be here between 12.23 and 13.23 so I waited but no delivery. I left a poor feedback but I have now decided to retract it since I received a lovely telephone call right after leaving the review. Thanks for getting to the bottom of the hold up and really appreciated the telephone call for the update!! This was at about 5PM, liar!!
After all that the telephone call and assuring me it will be delivered by 7.30 this evening and say the driver was running behind and he will explain to me when he arrives as to the delay. Well, it is now 8.40 PM and still no delivery!!
What do you do hire people to make calls following up on bad feedback and give the customer bunch of garbage!!
I have been in all day looking after my Ill wife and baby so upon me getting 5 mins to myself I checked my email to my surprise I had an email stating that an attempt had been made to deliver my order but I wasn't in? Apparently a card had been left? (It couldn't have been as the driver didn't even turn up to post one) anyway I called customer service. .. another waste of my precious time and money as I was told that the driver will be back to deliver my item within an hour....he didn't so I phoned customer service again I was told couldn't get in touch with the driver can I call you back anyway long story short no one bothered calling or delivering my parcel and as it is now 2230 I certainly won't be getting it todaynor tomorrow and certainly not Sunday and no confidence for Monday either, thanks interlink for wasting my precious time, I will be complaining to the company I ordered from, hopefully they will find a courier who doesn't lie through their teeth and appreciates their customers especially those of whom they have large contracts with like the company I ordered from!!
Driver arrived today 24/10/13 at 13.35 posted 'Sorry we missed you'card but did not knock on the door! The house was occupied, upstairs windows open and car on the drive.
We have now had to arrange a re-delivery wasting time and causing at least a days delay in receiving the parcel.Totally unnecessary-all for the want of knocking on the door!
I have advised my internet supplier of the 'service'they are getting and paying Interlink for.
I would never use them.
My second experience with Interlink today and I am very disappointed yet again. Received an email a few minutes after my parcel was due to be delivered saying that no one was at home to sign for it. The reality is that I was at home, no card posted through the letter box so it is more than obvious that the the driver did not bother to deliver my parcel today. Does it mean I have to wait all day at home tomorrow again as I have not been told on the phone what time it will be delivered?
Exactly same problem happened 3 months ago.
I received information about the delivery (exactly day). I agreed, suited to them and was waiting whole day because I did not want to have problems with redeliver etc. The courier did not show up, no information about what happened, nothing!!!. Why they are sending me text information, more they sent me even options to choose the day, possibilities of delivery etc. when they give a s... about it? So what now? I will be waiting another whole day? Maybe courier will come maybe not.. maybe they will send me another information about my parcel maybe not. For what am I paying?
Advised to be in between 2/3pm on a mail with no phone number. No delivery by 6pm eventually Googled a phone number - there is deliberately none on their website. Spent several calls over many hours waiting 'due to high volume of calls'. Found out next day they had all gone home at 6pm, their answer phone system is a joke. Late at night got a email saying delivery will be tomorrow 'as requested'. Liars.
Next day told by their staff their van had broken down yesterday. I said I will come and collect parcel. But it wasn't there, they had delivered it unannounced. The deliveryman said the guy yesterday dint know his way around and had returned with 25 parcels.
Summary - they are amateurish, deceitful and useless at logistics. And deliberately make it difficult to cotact them because they know they are sh1t.

I know couriers have a bad reputation so every deliver made by one is fraught with difficulties and worry. There's are some goods I won't buy online if they use one particular company. Interlink wasn't like that at all. I received emails and text messages telling me when my parcel would be delivered. I had the tracking number so I could find out where it was. The driver was polite and smiling. I've bought from the company that uses this courier before and always found the service to be very good so I would have no hesitation in buying things online in the future when this courier service is used.
I have facebooked a message to interlink but I thought others should know about this company's behaviours. I waited for a parcel this morning and my house overlooks the road all vans have to come through. I watched the driver come up the road and stop twice and get out to go to the back of the van. He then turned onto my road and turned straight back out again. I then find my parcel status has been updated to say I MISSED the delivery. I had been standing at the window with my baby waiting for the driver to ring the doorbell.
I called the local depot number and they couldn't get through to the driver.
Eventually the driver returned at midday with my parcel. One box which was open at both ends. I still need to check its contents.
I have written to the seller and to you to make people aware of this appalling behaviour. If I hadn't googled the local depot's number I wouldn't have been able to talk to a human being. All the contact numbers on Interlink's website are automated response. Talk about distancing yourself from your customers.

An excellent all round Magic service, easy tracking by the minute. I was told my delivery time the day before and approx delivery time within an hour timescale. I was so pleased about this as I could schedule other activity and go out to attend other commitments, no need to wait around all day anticipating what time the delivery would turn up. I was well pleased with every aspect of the service and the cheery delivery driver. This company sure does beat others hands down what a Bonus in this world of shoddy service we recieve today Well done Interlink just wish other companies would use your excellent service and please more consumers as a result !!!!!!!
In summary, delivered a damaged parcel, late, accused me of lying, are not contactable, do not contact in case of problems.
My parcel was collected OK, and the website said it would be delivered the next day, 5th October.
The recipient waited all day with no sign, and I also didn't hear anything. They hide their contact details (it's 0845 3061234 or 0844 8240516), so there is no way to contact them - just the website where you hope they might reply.
Parcel is then delivered on Monday; Driver refuses to let the parcel be inspected - a shame, as they managed to seriously damage it.
I then receive emails from their "customer services" telling me that the parcel would never have been delivered on the 5th as it's a Saturday - direct contradiction to the date given on the website.
After phoning them, I'm then in fact told it's because the parcel was over-weight. They basically accuse me of lying, claiming my parcel was 1.5 stones heavier than it was.
Their (Brenda's - unhelpful and supercilious) explanation for no contact on Saturday? Terms and conditions - they do not contact anyone if there's a problem!
Thinking of positives: the guy who picked up the parcel was friendly and helpful. The booking process is pretty simple.
Do not use them.
Having been told that my package was to be delivered between 09.50 and 10.50, i recieved an unexpected call from a lady at interlink asking me to confirm the number of my flat. Having given her the details i expected a confused driver to show up with my parcel sometime soon after. The parcel never arrived and there was no sign of the driver at all. I tracked the parcel online with the consignment number to find that it would be delivered 3 days later on the Monday not the Friday. I rung customer services to be told that their had been some confusion over the first line of my address and that the driver had tried to deliver but the parcel was refused....um hello you were at the wrong address..of course it would be refused!! The lady informed me that the local depot would be contacted and that they would inform the driver to re-deliver in the afternoon..but they couldn't promise he would. My package was v expensive and was specifically needed for that day. Let down completely. The original depot had somehow marked my address wrong i believe! I was steaming the entire weekend!
As my car was off the road with a broken alternator, I was urgently requiring a replacement. I sourced one and paid extra money for next day delivery through Interlink Express. A text arrived confirming delivery between 11.00am and 1.00pm. When the part had not arrived by 2.00pm I went online and checked the tracking. Interlink Express have been to my house several times before but the tracking said that the address could not be found. No attempt had been made to phone me at any stage so I called the local depot at Plymouth. I was told that the driver was an agency driver and 'you know what they are like'. He would be coming back later to deliver and has my telephone number if there is a problem. When the part had still not arrived by 4.30pm I called again to be told that the part would definitely be delivered today. Needless to say it is now past 7.00pm and no delivery or phone call. Far too late to fit an alternator outside anyway. I am out tomorrow so who knows what will happen.
The trader I bought from has been informed of this failure and is very unhappy. It seems there have been other problems.
Poor service but much worse than that unprofessional behaviour and dishonesty.
I am so fed up of 'next day' parcel services who are unable to collect on the correct/booked date. They completely undermine a 'next day' service.
Now my parcel does not arrive next day. I look like I'm a liar or cowboy. The service I charged extra for is not delivered.
If you can't stand the heat, get out of the kitchen.

I received the message on monday 30.09 that my parcel will be delivered on tuesday 01.10, but parcel didn't arrived, unfortunately. I changed the delivery date on 3.10 and i'm still waiting for it. Im just wondering where is my parcel and when i will receive it?!
Useless is an understatement! Parcel due for delivery on Tuesday we wasnt in so got it booked in for Wednesday and arranged for my partner to be in the house waiting to collect and sign for. The time due for delivery came and went , we tracked it and saw it was in the next village so thought we would be next then all of a sudden the tracking disapeared as well as my parcel! No notification of what happened or why the cause for the delay nothing! Tried ringing the depot closed after 5.45pm, tried ringing again this morning no answer , parcel out for re-delivery again today and guess what there will be no-one in to take it as we are both at work! So annoyed and disapointed , and it seems impossible to speak to a human being!!! No point using them as a delivery service as we will now have to go to the depot to collect and no one from Interlink seems willing to communicate with me to sort this matter out.
I ordered some corporate t-shirts from a company in Blackburn who used Interlink Express as their delivery agent. The goods never arrived and a month later Interlink Express are still unable to locate the lost package.
I had been promised a delivery date, it was even confirmed by a text message - the goods didn't arrive. I waited a further day - the goods still didn't arrive. I logged on to their website and was still able to arrange a new delivery date, which I did and which again was confirmed - still nothing arrived and I was not contacted by Interlink to explain why.
There was no way of contacting Interlink other than by a generic contact form on their website - it took them 5 days to respond.
It got worse, and in fact the worst part of the whole experience was trying to raised a complaint with Interlink. As I was not the 'customer' they won't deal with any complaint directly from me.
If you define 'customer' as the person or organisation who pays the invoice they are correct, however if you define 'customer' as the person who pays for the service (through the suppliers delivery charges) and who is inconvenienced by their incompetence then they are very wrong.
I even escalated my complaint to their CEO [name] ([external reference]) - his inital response was positive and he forwarded my issue to the executive help desk. They investigated, confirmed the parcel was lost and that - in their opinion at least - was the end of that.
The company are awful and do not care of the inconvenience they cause when the get it wrong.
I for one will no longer accept any deliveries from Geo Post UK companies - this is predominantly Interlink Express and DPD. I also advise any suppliers of this fact before placing my order - if Interlink or DPD are their only delivery option the order is cancelled.
Whilst it may be slightly inconvenient to me there is always someone else out there who will supply same goods via a different courier. I've cancelled 3 orders in the past week, explaining to the supplier each time why.

We received our parcel on the date and time stated in the text and e mail. Laurence the delivery man was smart and courteous. Very professional in his demeanour. A good ambassador for interlink express. Very pleased with service . No complaints only compliments.
This may be premature, but I was expecting a valuable delivery today. Delivery left London yesterday, and next day delivery was paid for, yet after waiting in all day today, no delivery driver has turned up. My tracking said the item left the Edinburgh depot (only an hour away) at 9:00am this morning yet it still never showed and I have had no notification of any delay etc.
Why offer a next day service if you can't keep to the terms of that service?
Fabulous service today from Interlink Express! Patrick delivered my parcel in Bedford at 14:22...exactly within the time slot from my email notification. (You can opt to have delivery times sent by text to your mobile phone too.) It was SO entertaining and also reassuring to be able to track my parcel all the way to its destination, online. Now THAT is service that made me smile! Congratulations to Interlink Express on running a super-smooth and super-innovative delivery service.
I buy lots of things online, but the weak link in online shopping is often the unpredictable and inefficient nature of getting purchases delivered. Interlink Express took the guesswork out of my delivery and I could plan to be at home exactly when my parcel arrived. Perfect!
My parcel was meant to be delivered today to a person who bought it from me and it never showed up at their house. Tracking says it went back to delivery depot in my town????
Not happy at all, nobody got in touch or anything. No customer service number to ring and talk to a live person, just some equiry rubbish form online. If somebody tells me to email them or leave a message I'll start screaming. You have our number when we book a parcel so USE it!
I won't send with interlink direct again, it's too stressfull
Buggy worth nearly £500 went awol, should I be happy?
I have now had deliveries from Interlink on a range of items and from different companies including Dawsons Department Store and Pictureframe.co.uk and each time their service has been outstanding.
I always get an advance notification email saying the day and time (in an hour time-slot) that the package will be delivered and even giving the drivers name as an additional security feature. Interlink Express is the only delivery firm that is consisting in this level of service. I even get a follow up email saying that the package has been delivered ... a great extra level of security in case of errors.
Working full time I really appreciate being able to plan my day safe in the knowledge that I'm not missing a delivery.
I ordered a car seat after 6 pm Thursday evening from Kiddicare in Peterborough and couldn't believe it when the parcel was delivered to our home in Edinburgh by 11 am the following morning. Communication excellent with the tracker service and such a nice helpful driver. Definitely recommend using Interlink Express 100%
Very pleased with service I had one parcel delivered and true to their word it was delivered 5mins after the start of the slot and very polite person. Used then to send an important parcel and it was delivered by 9.15 next morning. Only one observation is that the pickup of the parcel was quoted between 9 & 5pm and was just in that time bit I think it was a different company to be fair when I commented on being just in time is response was well I made it didn't I. You could look at giving a thought to the pickup process and give possibly a time slot or tracking so you wouldn't have to wait all day,
Booked two parcels with interlink after hearing good reports
I own various online businesses
First parcel, appears to have left in the rain outside the property without authorsation and is smashed to bits
so had to refund the customer
second parcel, AWOL
Wasted two hours of my life that I won't get back plus lost two customers, thank god I didn't book anymore!
although the gentleman in customers services was very polite and tried to help, didn't manage to resolve
I am a professional photographer who relies upon prompt delivery before 12 noon to restock photographs for markets. I order my photos to be delivered before 12 noon on Wednesday 11th September when at 1 pm they had not arrived I phoned the company I ordered the photos from who in turn contacted Interlink Express who informed them that they had mistakenly been sent to Monmouth instead of Newcastle upon Tyne (completely oppostie ends of the country) due to a shoot not working correctly. I was told that there was nothing that could be done apart from redirecting them so they would arrive today before 9.30 pm.
As i was at work as was my wife I had them redirected to my grandmothers address with the absolute guarentee that they would be there before 9.30 as she had a hospital appointment. Low and behold the photos arrived at 3.30 in the afternoon and not at the promised time.
This is not the first time I have had problems nor do I think it will be the last. I will be speaking with the company I order my photographs with and urging them to speak with Inerlink about these serious problems.
I have to say personally I have no faith and confidence in Interlink and would not use there services myself.
Claims attempted delivery 2 days running - but claims was refused. Reception says no one turned up, and that they never refuse parcels.
Tried to call at 6.15pm , but message says office ( Smethwick) now closed - as only open 8am- 6.30pm !
We are a small wine merchant that sends wine to customers all over the UK. For 2 years Interlink were very good all round but since October 2012 they have been breaking just about every consignment we send. We are using the packaging recommended by Interlink. What has changed? If some of the bottles were broken out of case we ask for the rest to be sent back to us so we can make a claim. Recently, after requesting the remaining bottles from a damaged consignment be returned, I when I followed up on the phone I was told the remaining goods had been destroyed because no suitable packaging was available to return them in. This was done without consulting us. A cynic might think these goods ie wine might have been poured down some throats at some stage and that there is a racket developing at various depots.
What has changed and surely a company the size of Interlink with its resources can sort this out. I want to be a customer because it was good for a while but I can't afford to be a t the moment.
The management at the top need to sort this out.
THIS COMPANY TELLS YOU WHEN YOUR ORDER WILL BE ARRIVING SO YOU DONT HAVE TO BE FRIGHTENED TO GO OUT FOR 5 MINUTES! YOU EVEN KNOW THE DELIVERY MANS NAME SO WHEN HE ARRIVES YOU CAN SAY, "HELLO JOHN" HE SMILES AND TELLS YOU WHAT A LOVELY HOME YOU HAVE! - SUCH A REFRESHING CHANGE FROM YODEL - I'M FULL OF DREAD WHEN I ORDER SOMETHING AND THEN FIND OUT THEY ARE THE COURIERS - THERE IS ALWAYS BIG PROBLEMS - I LITRALLY LEAVE A BIG A4 NOTE ASKING THEM TO RING THE DOOR BELL. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK AND THANK YOU. GILL
Bought dolls house off **** and heart fell when I saw it was a 48 hr courier. Should't have worried. Got an email the day before delivery to say when it was due to be delivered and the option to leave it with a neighbour or change delivery date. Then the tracking option was superb. Looked the next day to see the little truck, what number the parcel was and who the driver was. Turned up 20 minutes into the hour it was due. Driver smart and polite. Well done Kettering Depot!!!!
