Best delivery service I have ever experienced

I was kept fully informed and could see exactly where my parcel was. I was given a 1 hour slot for delivery and it arrived half way through that delivery slot. No hanging about waiting, scared to go to the dustbin during the day in case I missed the delivery (which has happened to me with other delivery companies). I knew when it was coming and it arrived during the given time. Why can't all delivery companies offer such an excellent service? I would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Interlink Express.

A SIMPLY TERRIBLE PARCEL SERVICE

Use this company with extreme caution! Expected delivery of a parcel today, got text messages with a time window but nothing arrived. Then got a further text to advise delivery "not possible", despite being in to take receipt of the parcel!!

No card was left to advise non-delivery and certainly no-one from this company attempted to deliver the parcel. Phoned the local depot 15 miles away to be told that the "agent has only been working the route for a few days". Not sure what kind of outfit Interlink are, but this is totally unprofessional nonsense. Now they cannot raise the 'agent' via mobile either, so I am wondering where my goods are.

Interlink had my mobile number for the SMS update service, so if the 'agent' was in any doubt where to deliver, why not call?

Not even as good as poor....

brilliant tracking service - wish everyone used it!!

An email first thing in the morning advised that the delivery would be between 10.10 and 11.10. it arrived at 10.15. Brilliant. (by the way, there was also an email on Friday to advise it would be here today)
It really doesn't get any better than this! Why don't the others use a system like this too to save us all those hours of hanging around, or the fact that they often show up when you just popped out for 10 minutes??!!

Brilliant delivery, right on time.

The tracking facility is a useful tool. Parcel arrived on time, pleasant and courteous driver. Would give them ten out of ten.

A Customer Service Oriented Company

I received an email from Interlink that my Parcel was on its way and with instructions on how to Track my Parcel. On the day of delivery I was allocated a 1 hr delivery window which enabled me to organise my day around that and be home for the signed delivery as opposed to having to sit at home all day waiting. Interlink allow different days of delivery if wanted. The Parcel arrived right at the beginning of my 1 hr delivery window, the Interlink delivery person knocked on my door, was most courteous and I signed for the Parcel. Success in a most professional way. Well done Interlink, a customer service oriented company.

dreadful experience

waiting all day long the driver just came in and he did not ring the trade button on the entrance to the building. he just took the picture as he trying to ring the flat number 30. which doesn't make sense because i'm waiting on the second floor and i just received package from a postman who gave me my package sent by royal mail. and so fed up of an experienced and very bad trained member of staff who just instead of doing what they supposed to do they are giving up...not contacting person by mobile or not pressing the TRADE !!!!! button which allows them to go to door on second floor!!!!!!

unacceptable experience

The delivery man was very rude by asking my wife and baby to come downstairs at street level to sign the shipment. We live 3rd floor and i was expecting a shipment weighted 100 grams! is it interlinkexpress policy to delivery all deliveries on street level? What shame!!!
Shame there is nothing below 1 to rate .

Seem trustfully

So I have ordered a package and says that tomorrow (11 tuesday) that my package will arrive, if it does and they tell I will change this too 5/5 Star :D hopefully it comes tomorrow, Living in Denmark and just waiting. Just unfortunately it stopped showing tracking after:

Best of the bunch.

Of all the couriers we use these guys seem to be the best. We are in a rural place and we are able to see the van coming on the map tracking and the usual guy is always friendly and reliable.

Incompetence, lies, attitude - hope I never had the misfortune to deal with them again!

Having taken a day off work, I received a text saying my delivery would be made between 11:48 & 12:48, so, assuming this was AM, at 5.00PM I called the Ipswich branch and was told that the driver was running late and had bumped some deliveries to be done after the collections, and he would be here tonight.
Ok, fair enough. I then get a text at 6.00pm saying 'As requested, we've changed your delivery date to Monday...'
So I call again, and am quite annoyed at this point, I explain the problem to the 'lady' on the phone. I explain that this is no good as I've taken today off work and I'm back at work Monday and I'm not happy. I ask what happens now, only to be told they'll redeliver. "When" I ask? "Monday" she says. By this time I feel like I'm banging my head against a brick wall. She calls the driver who says he has already left my area. I am by this time getting a bit annoyed, and then, to make matters worse, I am told off and lectured by the girl on the end of the phone - I haven't been spoken to like that since I was 8 and that was by my parents!!! If you can't handle customer complaints get another job working for a company that is competent! I ask to speak to her manager and he is 'busy', and 'will get back to me when he is finished doing what he is doing'. I ask if the parcel can be delivered on Saturday and am told "that is all you had to say and I would have done it". Surely it up to interlink to find a solution to their incompetence, not the inconvenienced customer??? I am then put through to someone who assures me the parcel will still be delivered tonight (despite the charming lady telling me the delivery driver had already left the area - so which one is lying?) or tomorrow (Saturday). I am not holding my breath, and if it's not delivered by tomorrow I will refuse delivery (no choice as I won't be here) and explain to the seller that interlink "express" ha ha! Have lost him a £200 sale. Any businesses looking at these reviews in order to use this company to represent your business, don't, they're not worth it.

It really is INTERLINK EXPRESS!

I would totally and unreservedly vote this as one of the best delivery Companies I have ever had the pleasure of dealing with, quick response to questions or queries fantastic tracking feature I knew where my parcel was from the minute it was on route! Well Done Interlink a Company that actually keeps its word. Keep it up !

Absolutely fantastic service

Best courier service experience ever. On the day of delivery they sent an email link to the delivery where I could track the package live. It gave a one hour delivery window which was on the button. It showed what delivery number I was and which current delivery the courier was doing. I could track the courier live time and had his name. Delivery time updated throughout the day. Smiling driver (george) arrived on the button with my goods. Fantastic.

Excellent service

The service was the best I've ever experienced. I had an email to state delivery day, also opportunity to change this.
Another email confirmed time to within an hour the name of the driver and the opportunity to track his van.
Brilliant what more could you want. Thank you Interlink Express.

Easy help on hand when collection missed

I missed the collection (my fault), calling card left, instructions to reschedule promptly emailed. As i needed the package to go that day, I telephoned the local branch, they said 'no problem, drop it in and we'll sort it' and that's exactly what happened. No queuing, no fuss, parcel simply taken from me, processed and sent on its way. In actual fact however, i need not have bothered as collection was automatically reattempted later the same day, presumably the first attempt was on the way out of the depot, and the second time on the way back to the depot. Not many courier companies can deal so efficiently with impromptu depot drop-offs and fewer still will attempt a second pick-up on the same day if they missed you the first time. Parcel arrived next day (before 09:30) as originally planned and I am thankful for that. Thumbs up from me.

Exceptional service

I placed an order with Hotel Chocolat using the standard (3 to 5 working days) option at 5.01pm on 19th Feb. Imagine my surprise when I received an email before 08.00am next morning to say my package would be delivered between 11.38 and 12.38 that day! This is faster than some packages I've 'Primed' through Amazon, using another courier. Another plus is, I can track my package - if I had time to. I got so excited about receiving the package of chocolates so quickly (they were for a birthday gift early in March), that I ate them, and have ordered a replacement with full confidence they will arrive just as quickly. The replacements were ordered yesterday at 4pm, standard delivery again, and I've received confirmation they will arrive today.

This is a truly great service...second to none.

Today I had my second delivery via this courier. How helpful to know when it was coming...not the usual 07.00 -18.00 nonesense....but a precise one hour slot and the ability to track the driver (John) as he came ever closer and with a continually updated estimated time of arrival. This is so much better than the other 4 or 5 couriers who call on me routinely. It enables me, a villager, with no public transport, to shop online, by T.V., by newspaper/magazine etc without having to drive for miles or hire a cab/taxi just to go shopping. And I can plan my day too! What a shame, therefore, that human nature is such that people mainly write to these sort of feedback sites when things have gone wrong ( as occasionally they do) because it can give completely the wrong impression of how good a company really is.....and it's the driver in the end who makes or breaks customer satisfaction. So well done to you, John! And thank you to all at Interlink Express involved in getting my parcel to me so efficiently. I feel I can rely on you completely. Till next time!

Apart from a strugle to get parcel registered online, took it to local office near Oxford on Wednesday, delivered in Munich on Friday, Parcel in good condition, recipient had plenty of advanced notice of delivery, could track parcel throughout every step of the journey, will use them for any future packages.

Got my bags missing 2 months ago and still no compensation

I used the company in Dec 2013 to transport my bags from Aberdeen to London. The tracking number assigned did not work so I had to call and get a consignment number.1/5 bags got delivered, eventually I called and together we found 2 extra bags. However for the remaining 2 bags I was told to fill an expense form which I got after making calls.Finally submitted my claims over a month ago still no response and nobody in the company can help

A good company, but mistakes made

I just got my parcel. I liked the fact that they sent an email and a text message informing about the delivery.

This is where the problems started - I was at home when the unsuccessful delivery took place. But everything was sorted with Gary, the customer representative by phone.

ADVICE TO PEOPLE WHO WERE HOME WHEN THE DELIVERY DIDN'T ARRIVE:

There is a facility within the online tracking, which shows the picture of the property at which the delivery was attempted - the driver takes the picture at attempted deliveries. This enabled me to realise they attempted delivery at a wrong property and address, 12a Albert Pl instead of 12 Evesham Road.with almost the same postcode, just the last 2 letters were different.

The above mentioned customer representative redirected the driver, so I got my parcel just minutes ago. So I give them 4 stars because the phone rep and the system are good, just the drivers will have to put the delivery address more carefully into their satnavs (the whole postcode, not just the first 4 letters).
