Ordered curtain rail and ties backs in chrome and black crackle glass, received the tie backs which are very nice then received the curtain which should have matched obviously but the crackled glass was white not black had to get this returned was told the replacement would be with me a week or so later. After talking to somebody via email was told it would be delivered in April which I was not happy about and to add insult to injury I have now been told I will not receive it until May!!! I noticed that I have received a credit back to my credit card for the amount that I paid for the curtain rail so does that now mean that the order has been cancelled completely and if so I was not advised.
isme is a good place to shop but they don't send out new catalogues! ive done my own mini survey of ladies of different ages and found that all would prefer to browse at a catalogue looking online is okay when looking for something in particular. I feel isme is losing out on sales because when you are flicking through a catalogue you always come across something you hadn't thought about buying so I feel this is a negative thing against isme and really frustrates me please if anyone can do something about this do so can't customers opt in for catalogues to be sent out to them??
Bought a grind and filter coffee machine after looking on amazon for item, they wouldn't deliver to the Isle of Man, not only did Isme deliver, but is was really quick AND no extra fee. Will defiantly use again
Ordered a Sony Ipod Dock which was at a competitive price. The order was accepted and notification of a confirmation email was issued. However the email took over 24 hours to arrive which was somewhat surprising. I therefore called Isme who confirmed all was OK for the delivery date as requested. Further notifications were then received on the tracking of the delivery which was good. I had some prejudice on my first order with Isme having had the worst ever customer service possible from Very in the past. I'm pleased to say I was not let down with this order and would consider ordering again.
I placed an order on 25th Jan and the item was to be delivered on 4th Feb. It's 8th of Feb today and still no item or communication about the delay. Rang customer service and not very helpful the customer service was more interested in asking questions date of birth even though I could not disclose that being in a public place. I had details of my account number but didn't bother to assist me.
I shall not be using this company again. The item was a birthday present.
I think I have been trying to receive a catalogue from Isme for the past 4 months or so. First it was on its way, then it was delayed, then it was too late in the season to send me one and I was promised one of the new seasons, still waiting! I have placed an order now but think that is six weeks wait. I am not impressed so far, sorry to say.
I placed my order easily and as I ordered furniture from the sale was really pleased with the price. When selecting the delivery options I was able to decide which day I wanted. Prior to the delivery I was phoned to confirm the day and time slot and then received another phonecall half an hour before my delivery. The delivery men were really helpful and brought the furniture I to my house into the room of my choice. Really happy with the whole process and will definitely be using them again.
We are really pleased with the item we purchased however I have received an excessive amount of advertising emails and texts. Due to the silly amount of correspondence I've actually missed an important email causing me to miss a payment that I had no idea I needed to make. The correspondence received has too much information and is confusing. I bought on a buy now pay later so I was surprised when I received a letter telling me I was in arrears. When I called to pay the person I spoke to was not very well informed, I was charged more than on the statement I received and I still do not know if I have a monthly payment. I am not a hundred percent sure what I have paid for and the person I spoke to didn't seem confident with the information he gave me either. I was told to check my account to see if there would be any ogre monthly charges which in my opinion is not great customer service. I do not think I will make any further purchases on my account.
Ordered item that was faulty, sent back to get replacement but was unable to get replacement unless I paid again, apparently refund would be processed but in mean time I would be charged again.....strange way to treat customer who hasn't done anything but take delivery of faulty goods. Shocking customer service will not be using again.
So i purchased a PS4 controller on the 26th of December for my nephew. Waited until the delivery date which was yesterday and no controller. When i tried to track my order by the mail i received a week after the purchase i was re-directed to the Isme website to a page which stated the product no longer existed. Looked into my bank and Isme had deposited back the money for the product and delivery and not even sent an email regarding the issue. My nephew now has to wait until i find another company to purchase the item. Im so mad its ridiculous. I would highly recommend a leading retailer like Amazon or Argos or ben Ebay. They have been more reliable in the past !
After making our first order with Isme for 8 dining chairs, we found that one was faulty. We advised by email and were informed that a replacement would be with us within 10 days. This did not happen This was at the beginning of January. After further nurmerous emails, all of which informed us that the replacement chair would be with us within another 10 days, we therefore contacted you by telephone today to be advised that nothing had been set in motion at all and that in fact all the previous emails were erroneous. We have now re-ordered and were advised that the cost of the chairs had increased and could not be price matched and we have to now contact Isme when the new chairs arrive in order to get this price matched. It seems extraordinary that this cannot be dealt with by your company. Suffice to say that we are extremely unhappy that we have been actively mislead by your company.
If ya reading this Hello I've been using Isme for 6 months now and so far they are Brilliant and if you phone them they are so helpful and polite im so glad I saw ad for them and will be using them forever no need to go anywhere else and interest charges ain't bad at all very Good website as well so easy to use and checking ya account so get rid of the catalogues ya looking at and go wiv Isme they have everything any person could need or what I Love it Bye Bye
First of all, the delivery was booked for a Thursday (27th of Dec) and then the delivery turned up on Monday the 23rd of Dec. I wasn't in, because I wasn't expecting the delivery. Thankfully I called in the morning of the 27th otherwise I would have stayed in all day for nothing. It was disappointing to have the delivery rearranged, because I was hoping to finish off the nursery in the christmas holidays. Then when I rearranged delivery they delivered 2 separate boxes, one was for a different cotbed all together and the other one was for the right bed, but in the wrong colour. The packaging was water damaged. I talked to customer service and apparently the cotbed is now no longer available. ISME credited the amount I paid, but minus the delivery charge, so now I have paid delivery charge but not received anything for it in return, which is a bit bad, you would think they would only accept an order if they have the actual stock. They are still to contact me to pickup the wrong delivery. I won't be buying anything through ISME ever again. Better to go with someone reliable.
I ordered a washing machine from Isme which had a bracket broken in transit so i called immediately to tell them and arrange collection, I was told that a courier service would contact me within the next couple of days. That never happened.
After a couple of days had passed I then sent an email to asked if i should reorder or will I get a replacement...no answer!
I then called again to ask about what had happened to the courier service but was on hold that long i gave up .
And so on and so on. So far I have called 5 times sent 4 emails and still have not received a reply. My washer came on the 5th January, it is still in my kitchen waiting for collection 15 days later!
Shame they're not as quick as dealing with problems as they are sending out their products!! Appalling!!
From other reviews I see I am not alone in being treated badly by this company. I will share my experience as a warning not to use this company. I fell behind with my final payment on some goods I bought because I went on holiday to Mexico over Christmas. Received a phone call on 31st december 2013 from Isme asking me to pay outstanding balance of £68.43, said if I paid that day there would be no further charges. I said could I pay on line she said yes. So later that afternoon I paid the outstanding amount on line. Received a statement on 17th january 2014 and a letter from Shop Direct Finance Company Ltd saying I owed Isme £12 for the phone call made on 31st December 2013 even though the lady had said if I paid that day there would be no further charges. Phoned both Shop Direct and isme I was treated like a criminal and spoken to very rudely by Vicky. They would not drop the charge and threatened me with giving me a bad credit rating. My husband and I run our own Ltd company if we treated customers like this we would NOT have any. Needless to say I will NOT be shopping with Isme again.
Hi finally bought silver cross dolls pram for granddaughter. When it arrived wheels were damaged and pram cover not up to scratch. Out of stock in the navy but told other prams were available ie. lesser quality. Sense of some people. Quickly collected damaged one next day and supplied another in a different colour. Did a quick check and thought fine. Assembled on xmas day and handles didn't match. After several lengthy phone calls still no luck or reply now in touch direct with silver cross. Waited eleven years to buy this pram and two were damaged. Also bought a lot of accessories total cost 400.00. Apart from that one very happy grandchild and baby dolls now ride in style.
