very good customer service

I was a bit apprehensive about using this website after reading the reviews but after visiting the stores and them not stocking long leg lengths we had no choice.
We ordered the goods, used a discount code, which worked and the products arrived next day as promised.
One of the items was too small, a terrible tight fit for someone who is tall and not really of large build, so they had to be returned. I think the instructions to return were a little vague for people who paid by cash and not with an account and as a result I could not have an exchange, had to have a refund. Not a problem as we ordered a new item again with a discount code. This too arrived when promised.
I did not have a problem with customer services. I emailed them to chase up whether they had recieved the return (I was concerned again due to previous reviews) I got a response within 2 hours even though I emailed them at about 5pm.
I then phoned customer services for advice on the new style we wanted to order. The operator was very helpful and polite. She couldn't answer my question directly but really did try to find out.
Overall so far so good. I think they should stock long leg length clothes in the stores so people can try them on to save the hassle of returns.
The only improvement would be to make exchanges easier for cash buyers.
Will definitely use again but will probably still be a little wary just in case.

AVOID!

They are ok if you want to pay a lot for substandard goods and be treated badly by their customer un-service. Had no problems before until I need to exchange something. I agree with all the other negative reviews and can only say the positive ones either work for jacamo or have not needed to return or exchange anything or deal with customer service. I feel 10p a minute to call an automated line with no option to talk to a human being a total rip-off. The courier apparently delivered my parcel 2 days in a row, which is rubbish because I was home. Will be closing my account and my son his, I will also go out of my way to actively discourage people from buying from them. They should pay Freddie Flintoff less and sort their proverbial tights out! Had to give one star to post this ,which is a star too may in my opinion.

Disgusting company.

Been ordering online since ages but never ever had to do business with such, unorganized, unfriendly and disgusting company. Charged me over £44 for returning the goods and ADMINISTRATION fees I did not even know about until I wanted to order another item and saw the outstanding balance! Paid it all off, contacted Jacamo and got told I need to wait another 20 days before I close the account, until the next statements comes in, and if I don't the interest will still be added into my account without me knowing it at all and will be passed onto the debt collection agency, and will be harder to get myself a credit in the future. No words to describe how awful this is.

Jacomo tried to pursue me for an account that was not mine.

Stay clear of this company their systems are not to be trusted. I was contacted by a debt collection agency acting on their behalf about an account that I had never opened. During the course of the conversation the debt collection agency told me that they realised it was a mistaken identity and that their would be no further action. I have now been contacted by another debt collection agency who are trying to pressurise me to pay an account I know nothing about. They are threatening court action and seizure of goods by bailiffs. I now have to spend time writing to these companies to clear the matter up.

Absolute rubbish company

I had problems with their accounts department and so decided to close my account last month. They still haven`t closed it and are sending me emails and statement advice. I tried to phone them to speak to them about closing the account but the number given cuts off before you can speak to anyone. No worries I will try to email them BUT the email page tells me that their http address is invalid. So. What now? Apart from writing a stinking comment on facebook to vent my rage, who knows. I pity the poor person who I eventually get to speak to because I`ll rip their head off!!!!

Very great clothes for men

I brought a shirt in blue with white collar and black toe pointed shoes and bike helmet and trainers and my 1st item I got was great and fits nice the shirt and I wear it with my blue Oxford smart jacket from next and very great online store and it got here on time and you don't have to worry about money or when it gets to you so go for it and don't worry about the sizes

Poor company

AVOID THIS FIRM: I purchased an item, which was faulty sent back and rather than a refund I picked something else wouldn't let me pay the difference there and then so expected an email, a txt, or a call for me to pay difference but nothing. But they remembered to mark my credit file as a late payer. I paid the difference as soon as I knew how and made a promise to (Mr Ratcliffe) to share my story everyday unless my credit file is amended. I'll also be posting on Twitter, Youtube and any other social media.

First class on line shop

I have nothing but good experiences with Jacamo.
occasionally some might be out of stock, but it will be with what i class as a very popular item and they always give a delivery date for new stock, so you can always cancel order.
i find delivery and returns first class. if you watch out for free delivery offers, you can save there.
when a delivery does not turn up the following day as stated, i have rang to be credited straight away.
the cost of delivery and credit charges are no more than any other mail order that charges.
Maybe if people who think they are internet savvy were to read the small print instead of just jumping in, then would not need to slag off the company because of their mistake.
I can only speak as i have found up until now, who knows things may change, i hope not.

Found somewhere better after a many bad experiences

I used Jacamo for all of my dads presents, but after them losing 3 parcels, I discovered bigteeshirt.co.uk and since then I have saved a fortune. Same clothes at a cheaper price and also got next day delivery which was a bargain.

Overpriced stock!

This company is a rip off, they sell goods that cost £40 on eBay for £89.99! Also, their customer service isn't the best. Stick to Amazon and eBay people.

Usually Spot on

Had one or two blips with returns but that is most likely the fault of MyHermes but impossible to tell for sure.

0870 number for customer services - so not mobile friendly but the products are generally great with zips being the weak link on own brand jackets and coats. Excellent choice of most things but if you want it get it quick as things do go out of stock quickly.

Disgusting

Ordered from Jacamo previously, no problems.

Ordered a third time, problems start.

Paid for NDD on an item to my office, said it would be delivered at latest by 8pm - said no one was in the office by 8pm. Called delivery company Hermes, said it's not their problem (fair enough) then called Jacamo and said it's not their problem (WOW!)

Said I failed a credit check (even i had been ordering for three months!) and because it hadn't been activated to cash only, the item hadn't even dispatched! Said the item would be with me within 7 days, when I paid for NDD and there was nothing else they would do to help.

Customer Service is deplorable, disgusting, inept, uncaring - any adjective you can think of.

They just don't care - dont want to help. Just that mentality of "well, I've done this for you so be grateful".

Avoid like the plague - not worth the hassle.

In fact, I think I feel a cough coming on....

Worst online company. Period

This has to be the worst online company, they hide in the small print they will do a credit search on you and also create you a credit account and most people I've spoken to don't know about this and then they just exorbitant fees for not paying for the credit fees and interest. This is how they make their holiday money, also customer services are very very rude, please stay away, better companies out there for large size people. Awful company

Is it a con company?

I received a watch from these people, only issue is, I never ordered it. Two weeks later I receive a note asking for payment against my Jacomo credit account, but not one I ever requested. The watch is on its way back and they say they'll delete my 'account'.

Talking to their CS they say it was ordered online, although I have no online account with them.

Is this a con, do they send these things then lure people into a credit agreement? It seems very odd to me.

BAD DELIVERY SERVICE!!

i ordered an order online around 9 ago, since i have had nothing but stress, emailing this person and that person.. to say the least i still have no order, checked tracking earlier today it said that my parcel had been returned to sender! as the delivery company could not fine my TOWN house.. ( not hard to ask someone where a house is).. now i have just got an email saying WE'VE MADE A DELIVERY..dont know what the hell is going on as i have had no goods .. Jackamo should seriously look into there couriers.. very bad first experience.

Pleased with first order

I see that Jacamo get a bit of a mixed bag of reviews.

I have only ordered once, got a couple of pairs of jeans as they obviously cater for the bigger bloke which isn't the case on the high street.

I'm very pleased with the jeans and they turned up very quickly as well. Also got 10% off first order, postage was £3.99 on 2 pairs which I thought very reasonable. I have also received a voucher in the post since for 10% off my next order.

However I can see where things could go wrong. They do seem to want you to use their catalogue credit type thing as your suggested payment method - although very easy to change to credit card.

Also they use, at least in my case, the TERRIBLE courier company myHermes who I find very unreliable and negligent - this alone might put me off using them again.

I can see how people might have problems with them - and I'd be interested to see what happens if I use them again and need to return something, but I'm quite satisfied with my first order.

1 star lost for myHermes and suggesting credit without you really asking for it.

would I recommend you buy from here you betcha
why they call themselves some funny name other than jacamo defeats me
confused when saw melgold t/a the country garden on a credit check website
but google search assured me
and as I pay up front by card , this helps my credit rating as it is always good
