NEVER AGAIN!

I've ordered some Nike sandals for my brother online. And as the usual procedure, got an email saying that my item has been dispatched to my chosen store (Oxford Circus in London) and will receive another email if they will be ready for collection. 24 hours later, received another email and a text message that my item is ready for collection so I did go to the store.

Queue is long, loads of customers, lots of tourists - fine, I'd probably be here at least 10-20mins. Man, was I wrong!

I've queued up to collect my item and when I got to the till, I showed the text to the sales assistant and everything seems to be fine. 15 minutes later, nothing. To my surprise, the lady who got all my order details has only given the paper (with my order) to her colleague 15 minutes after. So, 15 minutes wasted. But it gets better....NOT!

So to cut the long story short, they couldn't find my item. And they said that it could have been a system fault and they want me to come back the next day. I've already been at the store for half an hour now and I've already missed my train. So I said I'm not coming back and I just want my money back. And they said they couldn't as they needed to have the item to give me a refund. The lady said she'd call Customer Service to see what options do I have and must admit, she's doing her best to solve this issue. 10-15mins. and she came back to me to only say, ''Customer Service is not answering''.

She asked me if I want to talk to the Store Manager who was explaining the situation as normally, once customer received a text message or email saying that the item is ready for collection, the store would have scanned it proving it's already there. After 5-10mins, the other lady came running to us and say, ''I found your item! It was under the till.'' So imagine the look on my face!

2 trains missed, 1 hour wasted and this could have all been prevented if there was a system placed at this store. It could have been the busiest store but it is not an excuse. I've returned the item and got my money back on that day.

Lesson definitely learned and JDSports has lost another customer.

annoying

Ordered some nike hyperrevs with the payment going through smoothly, with it clearly saying on the website IN STOCK. Got an email two days later saying that the order had been cancelled due to lack of stock. Soooooo annoying

I'm starting to get nervous.

I placed an order on March 12 and they said processing would be very fast. I know that since I'm in the US, that shipping would take a while. But it has been over a week and I still have not recieved and email that my order has been processed. I'm getting kind of nervous here. Good thing I payed with paypal and can always file a claim if this matter is not taken care of.

AVOID - poor set-up; poor customer service; and incompetent.

I placed an order for two items to collect in store. Despite the product being listed and availble for sale and them taking my money, it took them FOUR days to decide one of the items wasn't available and ship the other to the store. Bad start, but lets put it down to an isolated incident. I need the two specific items, so I buy online and look to cancel the order for the single item. It took them FIVE days to respond (to be fair their acknowledgement says it could take this long) which in 2014 is ridiculous customer service, and they can't do anything - I have to go out of my way to collect the item and hand it back?! Again, to be fair, on inspection of their T&Cs straight out of the 1980s it does say this which in itself is poor. Given the position and slowwww and unhelpful customer service, my preference was to drive the 7-miles out of my way, take the product away and send it back Collect+ so they have to pay pound notes for the ridiculousness of the situation. I get to the store and they've lost the package. Genius. Couldn't make it up. How they expect to compete with the ever improving quality of online retailers, and dare I say it even Sports Direct, I have no idea. Will be bust within 2-3 years.

POOR INSTORE CUSTOMER SERVICE ACROSS LONDON & SURREY

THE CUSTOMER SERVICE IN JD SPORTS IS VERY POOR.
ALL MEMBERS OF STAFF INCLUDING THEIR MANAGER HAVE NO CONCEPT OF CUSTOMER SERVICE!

THEY NEVER LISTEN AND ALWAYS WANT TO START AN ARGUMENT.

THIS APPLYS TO THEIR FLAGSHIP OXFORD CIRCUS STORE AND KINGSTON SURREY STORE

THIS HAPPENS WHEN YOU HAVE STUPID, UNEDUCATED KIDS FROM THE STREET AND 'ON ROAD' TRYING TO ACT LIKE ADULTS WHEN THEIR PARENTS HAVE CLEARLY NOT RAISED THEM CORRECTLY.

PLUS, LETS BE REAL, WHEN MANAGERS ARE HOOKING UP THEIR DUMBASS MATES TO WORK AT THEIR STORE OR HAVING SX WITH MOST OF THE STAFF THEN THINGS GO DOWNHILL! (this is proven so do not delete!)

Next day delivery is a waste of time

Whats the point in offering a chargeable next day delivery service when you don't bother delivering ?

Bought a pair of boots yesterday morning and requested next day. Not turned up - not even out for delivery today according to the Hermes delivery people.

Not shopping with JD online ever again....

Great and fast delivery

I most say I was very nervous reading all these negative reviews about JD Sport after I bought my Nike Air Force 1 sneaks from the website and I thought I would never get them after reading people saying its was fraud etc. - but thankfully JD Sport answered my email and confirmed they had been shipped and I just received them after just 1 week - so fast and great service i must say.
I live in Denmark and the shipping was fast and without any problems.

Diabolical Company. Avoid like the Plague.

I ordered two pairs of trainers online last Tuesday Feb 25th. Received 2 emails on the 28th, one in the morning and another in the evening stating my order had been despatched and they would contact me when they arrive for collection.( 3 days to despatch) Have heard nothing so far, now March 5th. How long does it take to reach the store? Telephoned them yesterday only to be told they were very busy and I would have to wait at least ten minutes to speak to a representative. I immediately hung up and sent them an email (takes up to 48 hours for a reply) 24 hours have now passed but am not holding my breath for a reply. Fully expect, there will be none. I will telephone the shop to see if my order has arrived.
A month earlier, I ordered another item, again very slow service. When I received an email stating it was now available for collection, however when I went to the store, it was not there and was told "we don't get deliveries today". Had to go back a couple of days later but only after I telephoned in advance to check it was there.
Don't know when my current order will arrive.
I will never again shop there. Have told my family and friends to avoid like the plague. They are easily the worst company I have ever dealt with in my life and I'm nearly 50 years old.
Avoid, Avoid, Avoid. Duck-egg out of ten.

Fraud

I've ordered on January 5th. My order never arrived although my card was charged from the first moment. I mailed them three times and the answer was always wait. After almost three months always the same answer . ,,,

Great items, fast shipping, excellent experience!

Everything worked perfect with both orders I made the last month!
It was an international shipping and I was concerned a little bit but everything arrived on time and with no problem!
I will definitely buy again and again!

No order - no service

Ordered some clothing february 8'th and the money was withdrawn from my account two days later. I never reveived any email that my order had been shipped - and I haven't received anything. I cant get through to the company by email or phone. Its a complete fraud. Dont order anything from this company.

Fraud?!

I have just ordered three items from the site. Unfortunately I did not see all the comments in here before...

I ordered standard delivery for 4.99, but that was subtracted because international delivery is free when you place an order of more than 75 pounds.
Through the entire order it said 83 pounds, even when I accepted in PayPal. BUT, when I received the conformation mail from PayPal, an extra 10 pounds has been added for delivery!
I have passed a complain to PayPal, and written a request to JD sport. Thank God I choose to pay with PayPal. I have it all documented in pictures, so there is NO WAY that they are going to get my money! I will also contact the bank tomorrow.

Poorest customer service I have experienced in years!

I purchased a boys gilet for my nephew in Dec as a xmas present only too find out on xmas day that he already had the exact same one. I took it away that day and returned it to the store a few weeks later. The rude store assistant accused me of it being worn as it had a dust mark on the back, I explained it must of happened during the wrapping/unwrapping present process but had definitely not been warn. She refused to accept my answer and would not give me a refund. I went away, wiped it off at home that took a second as it was just dust, then returned it a week later to another jd store further away to be to told I was then out of my refund period and they do not offer any sort of credit note/exchange for other products. Just a point blank no, we cant help. I then complained on their facebook page and was contacted by them to apologise for my experience. When I asked what they were going to do to resolve the issue, their answer was nothing, they cant offer a credit note etc. What an inflexible, archaic and uncustomer friendly customer service. JD sports need to move on, improve or their competitors who value their customers will see them go bust and there customers will be glad! Appalling!

rubbish service online and instore

I placed an order with these jokers online on 6th January, today is Feb 25th, still no order or refund. I originally received someone else's order, which I sent straight back, still haven't received mine. One of my items is now out of stock, for which I have requested the money back, I still wanted the other item, which I have been told has been sent to me - still waiting. Every time I try to ring Customer Services, I get a recorded message telling me that my call cannot be completed at the moment and they hang up! Use this site at your peril, they are complete cowboys!

Promises, lies, rude customer service, no product, theft and Barry Bown JDs CEO doesn't give a toss!

JD Sports doesn't even deserve one star! I placed an order on the 12th for next day delivery, item didn't arrive and I was told it was still being picked and would come the following day, that day arrived and still nothing, got to the 14th and item was still waiting to be picked so I wanted to cancel the order but customer services told me 'we can't do that". I was told I had to wait for the delivery service they use to return my item before I could have my money back. JD lost my parcel between couriers, I was told it went out via City Link but it actually went out with Hermes. I have now been told that the item I ordered needs to be checked before I can have my money back and I haven't even had the product in my hands. Their Customer service has been the worst I have ever experienced so I emailed their CEO Barry Bown and he also has failed to get back to me! As it stands JD Sports have £70.00 of my money whilst they address their own diabolical company setup! I have been told I will have my money back in two to three weeks! What an absolute joke! I will never use this company again! Order number 36956920

JD sports has great product and is a good store!

JD Sports has great product. The only suggestion I would make is the website be equipped to convert the amounts of purchase and the price of product in the chosen geographical location of the purchaser. I had to research to find out how much my purchase cost in U.S. currency, which was inconvenient. A monetary conversion chart would truly help. Once I figured out my purchase amount I still encountered custom fees on the back end which I was unaware of. To know the terms of international purchases and the cost of customs will make an individual a more informed consumer.
