disgusted with this company. I ordered a pair of running shoes and a t-shirt to collect in store. i had emails and text message to tell me my order was ready to collect. I went to the store and only the t-shirt was there. The manager told me that the dispatch note said the running shoes were out of stock and I would be refunded the money. Three days later, after purchasing running shoes elsewhere, i get another text saying my order was ready to collect. As i can't get to the store in the next few weeks due to work commitments, I call the customer service department, to ask for them to refund the money. They wouldn't listen, I had to explain the situation several times, eventually had to demand to speak to a manager and was told i couldn't, as he was dealing with other customers, but i could have a call back, now I've had this before where the call back never happens, so I insist i will wait for a manager. The customer care line tell me this isn't a good idea as it could be a while, so I tell them, thats fine i'll just bill you for the phone call and i'm on a mobile. She puts me on hold and less than a minute later, one of the management team comes onto the line, the running shoes are still out of stock and haven't even been dispatched!!! he assures me I will get my money back in the next few days. I am so angry and disgusted at there lack of communication and care.
I thought of getting a small stuff without having to go to town, so I chosen to purchase online with its free UK delivery. The client team contacted me as they couldn't verify my address. Reasonably priced, reasonable delivery time frame (although I had bad experience with Hermes delivering Asos before). I would buy again in the near future!
customer service is non-existent! had a pair of adidas gazelle trainers that tore on the inside of the heel after a few hours use, after returning them I was told it was not a manufacturing fault and they would not replace them. going to contact trading standards and see what can be done about it. I would advise nobody to use scotts or JD sports
Me and my 12 year old daughter went to JD Sports in Nottingham looking for some trainers for her, she found a pair in JD Sports, they didn't have any in and my daughter wanted a pair that day. But the manager lied to my daughter telling her that if she ordered them they'd be here within one day on next day delivery. Did they arrive? No. The next day? No. The manager obviously lied to my daughter to make the sale and stop her going somewhere else to buy some trainers. She was crying her little heart out when they didn't arrive. JD Sports were unsympethetic and couldn't really care less so we had to go back to Nottingham so my daughter could get her money back. We'll never buy anything from JD Sports again.
As the title says I never got my order. On top of that I was never updated on the status of my order and had to ring the UK from Ireland to be told my order had been lost, no apology just it got lost, so basically JD sports robbed me of 85€.
Never again which is a pity because I like there clothing lines. I'll buy directly from nike store or Adidas anymore.

my parcel is lost, I'm not happy with customer service email conversation, it was took so long to reply me, no answer on my requested for a replacement, and took 2 months to get my refund.

Have purchased instore and online, one purchase online was too small but as i had paid by paypal i could not take back to the shop for refund but had to send back directly to JD which wAs bit of a pain (via our local one stop shop and had to pay postage), nevertheless my card was reimbursed promptly. Ordering online is simple and emails are sent to inform you of when to collect or when delivery will be made. Onetime i avoided paying for home delivery by selecting pick up instore - then JD delivered to my home instead ( that was a one off). transactions have been good. I recommend this store.
I mostly buy tennis clothing and have been happy with all my purchases over the last three years.
I may have been in the shop at a bad time because the staff are just going through the motions to get the day in as quickly as possible one assistant couldn't do enough the next one didn't want to know. the shop it self is great well laid out and clean and bright but the staff need to improve their attitude towards customers a smile would be a good start and be a bit more cheerful not all doom and gloom. the internet service was great shop not so good.
Excellent items quick delivery no faults at all unless you pay via paypal as you cant return instore, exchange instore etc you have to pay for collect + at £3 odds or you can call JD and they will send you a label you can print yourself (not mentioned on paperwork that I could see)
