We had started looking at 8 on a saturday morning , getting more and more frustrated with the young ' knowledgable' salesman types,telling us what was best for us;by mid afternoon it was a pleasure to be given space and time to discuss,by ourselves, the cars on offer at jennings;it certainly made our minds up.
this is the first time I have used Jennings what a great service I am getting of them , Jill at Stockton Jennings motability has turned into a friend in stead of a rep of motability, that lass will put herself out and do any thing to help out you cant get any better.
Jennings were very helpful from my initial contact until the car was delivered. The staff I felt with, Nicola Brown and Alan Platten were friendly,helpful, knowledgeable and efficient. The cart was delivered on time and was as described on the website. My wife and I are very happy with the purchase.
The service I received from all the team at jennings gateshead was wonderful - very honest in their opinion of their cars, and strived to get my business in a firm but appealing way!

I visited the garage on Saturday to test drive a fiesta. Bob showed us the car and explained our options to us, we drove the car and we asked for some time to think about it. We had also arranged to drive another car with another garage later that day (a Citroen). After driving the Citroen I rang bob to ask if I could drive the Fiesta again on Sunday morning. Bob arranged this. After driving the car a second time my mind was made up & on Monday I paid my deposit and arranged a date to pick up the car. Bob is a good salesman he explained our options clearly, was courteous at all times. By comparison one of your Salesmen at Arnold Clark lost Ford a sale at that branch as he was rude & dismissive (he was called Ronnie). My only criticism would be that the car only came with 10 litres of petrol. I think given the amount I spent half or even a full tank would have been more appropriate.
I recently bought a new Ford Fiesta from Jennings Ford at their Stockton branch. Previously I had bought 5 new Ford Focus from them, and in each case I have dealt with ALAN PLATTEN, Sales Executive. In all cases I have been entirely satisfied with my service from Alan and with Jennings staff in general.
Alan Platten is an excellent salesman who fully explains everything and takes a personal interest in customers. I recommend him for excellent service and also Jennings as an excellent dealer in all respects.
In a nutshell, great service before and after purchase; helpful staff who made the process of buying easy. The car was delivered by the dates promised. Due to having a poorly daughter I couldn't get to the arranged appointment to pick up my car and Craig stayed until 7pm that night to allow me to collect the car.
I ordered wheel locking nuts and carpet mats for my wife's Streetka last Saturday and they arrived on Tuesday, Unfortunately by this time the lady we brought the car from had then found the wheel nut key, so we no longer required the nuts that I had ordered, plus in looking at my order I had ordered carpet mats for Sports KA, however Jennings had actually sent me Focus mats! When I phoned on Wednesday I thought I was going to have quite a job to sort this out, but I couldn't have been more wrong as Dave Garth was brilliant, he arranged for the collection of the wrong mats and wheel nuts, phoned later in the day to confirm pick up and emailed return address to send the items too. The correct mats arrived at 9 am on Thursday and they collected the returned items. Dave then emailed me on Friday to say they had received the returned good and that he had refunded my card. Great service and I will definitely use Jennings again for parts.
You always hear of car salesman pressuring people into buying something but this is the second car I've bought from Ford and both times I've felt almost informed and that the decisions have always been mine. I cannot recommend Ford highly enough, I have had outstanding service every time.
I ordered my roof bars very late on a Thursday night and was astonished to be notified by the order tracking facility that my order had been despatched on the Friday. I was even more astonished that a delivery van arrived on Monday morning with my bars, I live at least 270 miles away from Stockton! That has to be better than any service that i have received from the likes of Amazon and other web traders. I cannot fault the roof bars and they are now serving me extremely well on my car. Most web dealers should take a lesson from Jennings. Attractive prices, sensible delivery charges, well packed and rapid arrival of the purchase - what more could you ask as a customer.

The sales person was enthusiastic and informative. At the end of the negotiating stage were were confident that we had got very good deal. When we arrived to collect the car, the sales person explained the key features of the car. We were guided through the more hi-tech aspects such as syncing to a mobile phone. This was very helpful. If we had tried to do this ourselves, we would probably have struggled as the information in the handbook is not particularly clear.
There was no pressure from the moment I stepped into the forecourt doors. If I needed anything explaining everyone helped each other to answer my questions. I was able to take my time with the decisions I wanted to make and wasn't pressured into making quick on the spot decisions. I was advised as to which options would be best suited to my needs but was also informed of all other options that ford had. I was able to deal with the same sales person on each of my visits and asked who I had been dealing with each time I visited. It is the third time I have been to the same dealership and wouldn't hesitate to go again or recommend ford to other people. The cars have been more then adequate for my needs and have had needed virtually no repairs in the time I have owned them.

In the last month I experienced the customer services from Simon Bailes in Stockton which I can only describe as excellent. So I was very very disappointed when I purchased my new car from Jennings in Stockton. There was absolutely no comparison in the way I was dealt with, in my opinion Jennings have a lot to learn and rely on the Ford brand to keep customers coming back. However Fords policy not to include something as basic as car mats also leaves a lot to be desired. When you spend thousands of pounds on a car and are then told to go to Halfords to get car mats it leaves you feeling perhaps I should have stayed with the Peugeot.
We wanted to change our 08 Reg Ford Galaxy for a newer car (2012) and preferably an SUV. In local car sale companies we looked at Nissan and Kia but the Ford Kuga kept catching our eye. Unfortunately, all out of our price range. We looked online and phoned what turned out to be Ford Jennings online service in Washington T&W. They very quickly identified a suitable car situated in Stockton and within a couple of days, they brought the car up to our nearest Ford agent in Gateshead . We road tested and decided to buy. They offered a good Part X price on the Galaxy (£1000 more than the biggest used car buying company) and after 4 days whilst we raised the balance, the car was delivered to us in show room condition.
The whole experience was easy and all the staff we dealt with on the phone in Washington, Stockton and face to face in Gateshead, were friendly and helpful. (Thank you to Paul T who was our sales rep). Above all, we felt we got a fair deal and ended up with the car we wanted. Aside from this purchase, we have used Jennings for service and repair on both our Fords since 2009 so the good level of service came as no surprise on this occasion. Thank you!
We approached Jennings Gateshead to order our galaxy (I wasn't happy with Jennings South Shields) so from moment we spoke to Paul we were made welcome felt cared for and our conversations and communications were professional but with little extra listening ear, I felt at ease the car was ordered we were kept up to date nothing was a bother.
The day came to pick up our car and hand over of our old car, this too went smoothly made comfortable had coffee read of morning paper and handed us our new car.
As easy as ABC......Paul explained the car operations in full and that was us happy and drove off.
A week later Paul rang me to see if we were happy with our new car and to thank us for our custom and picking Jennings
Oh also as we kept our car clean and in good condition Paul put in good report to motability and we received £250 bonus for us to keep......very happy indeed

This is my second Ford Kuga from Jennings Stockton and I cannot praise the dealings I have had with this garage high enough. I have dealt with the same sales staff on both my purchases and found them and the management both helpful and efficient. It is a pleasure to deal with the service department who go out of their way to fit you in at the most convenient time for youself.
I have been very happy with the service I have received from your Dunston outlet. I was well looked after by Paul Pellegrino and nothing was too much trouble for him. He gave me a thorough overview of the car when I picked it up and rang only a couple odf days ago to make sure everything was O.k.

I purchased a fiesta zetec from Mr Graham Reynolds who explained all my options that were available to me in detail and nothing was to much trouble .He was extremely polite and very helpful and when I collected my car he sat with me and explained everything in detail.Out of all my dealings with car sales men he without a doubt made buying a car the most pleasurable and said if I had anything I was unsure of to call him I would not hesitate in near future to return and deal with mr Graham Reynolds .Also in his absence the other car sales men were very helpful .I look forward to returning in the future to deal with Mr reynolds who gave me excellent service
Spoke to Ian on the Monday explained what i was looking for in a new car and a new car was available for me to pick up by Thursday the same week and that was with various problems with the Dvla that Ian assisted me in very easily resolving.

Have you seen my new Ford Focus? I got it from Jennings Ford (of Stockton) again; well they take such good care of you. As you know when we are changing cars we tend to deal with Graham Reynolds in sales and he came up trumps again with a great deal.
As usual I opted for the 5 door version with the Titanium spec, but decided to upgrade to one of the new 1.0 litre petrol EcoBoost with the 125 PS output, just like the wife’s.
The car I chose was in Burnished Glow and it’s got the City pack with folding door mirrors, automatic door protectors and rear parking sensors - I love the gadgets!!!
It took just over a week between ordering and delivery, exactly as agreed - top work as usual.
As always on handover the controls, gadgets etc were explained, the car was immaculate and ready to go.
I signed up to the 2 year service plan – it’s nice just to drop the car off knowing it’ll be well looked after and then picking it up later (without having to pay the bill.)
Jennings do not pressurise you into buying a vehicle, however they responded to all my requests and if it is possible both parties came away with a satisfactory deal.
When picking up my new car the laid back approach was a bit frustrating as I had to wait 30-40 minutes to see a representative, although I was on time for my appointment.
Once seen to, the service was acceptable, and help was provided with the completion of necessary paperwork ,etc.
In all I met with with 3 sales reps to complete the deal - I don't think this is a good
idea, as far as the purchaser is concerned.
I took my car in for a service, it was two years old, but realised it was a good time to swap it for a new one. So I did. The process was very easy and drove away in my new car within weeks with all the information and details sorted. The only negative was that the only 'free' colour was race red - you can do better than that Ford. Otherwise, happy customer.
Customer service and information were excellent, my car arrived on time we were kept updated of progress, we would like to thank Jennings Ford Dunston, Gateshead for everything, I'm very happy with my new Ford Kuga, we are now enjoying and looking forward to driving it for a few years to come, well done all involved.
