As a company I think they pitched it just right all the way through the process of getting a car. Honest advice on what car would be best for me, help with making the final choice without feeling as though I was being pushed, quick deposit payment followed up with the name of the salesperson and contact number in case of any issues. After that it was stress free with email confirmation, flexibility with payment method and a fantastic delivery driver who, after a long journey, couldn't be more helpful. To follow up there was a call from the salesperson to check to see if everything was fine. Top marks all round - Thank you!
Great!! Mark could not have been more helpful.There was lots of cars to chose from he narrowed them down into groups which made the decision much easier in the end. I was unable to pick up car and he arranged a day and a time for delivery,it all went smoothly.I would recommend to anyone,they gave me a great deal!!

The staff including Dave Walker always go that extra mile. The service is fantastic and you are made to feel very welcome. Any problems are always resolved with minimum fuss, which, is very rare these days. I have dealt with several garages and this one beats them all. My father and I have recently purchased a Fiesta and a Focus from the Jennings group and found staff at both the South Shields and Dunston branches to be knowledgeable and helpful about the cars on show without having to resort to pressurised sales techniques regularly encountered a number of years ago. Very refreshing! The result....we have purchased two vehicles within a couple of weeks of one another having found the 'packages on offer' to be the most attractive when compared to similar deals elsewhere. We had looked at cars through other outlets and had some scary experiences so, as we'd bought our previous Focus through Jennings we went back again. We found a great car and Steve helped us through the process with a real customer focus. There was no pushyness we were left to make our own decisions. We've had a couple of problems with the car and we took it back. Steve was excellent although I wasn't as keen on the attitude we got from Chris the service desk person. I'd definitely buy a car from Jennings again and wouldn't hesitate going back!
I travelled over 200 miles from the midlands to south shields the sale was done over the phone without any problems i arrived on saturday morning the ford galaxy i purchased was as described infact was above my expectations the sales person mr peter nesbitt was a very pleasant person,without any delay he sorted the paper work quickly as i had a long drive home so it was an all round winner for me

Our 10-year-old Fusion died one Monday morning on the way to Durham - front end of exhaust and the turbo at the same time! The Fusion suits our needs perfectly so we decided to get another - looked on the Jennings used car site and saw a low mileage, reasonably priced replacement. Rang the online salesperson who was extremely helpful. I was all ready to attempt the 50-mile journey to South Shields to pick up our 'new' car in our smoke-billowing old one (imagining the engine finally exploding somewhere on the A1M), but the salesman was able to arrange for a pick-up to collect our old car, then the next week he drove our new car to the house and we did all the paperwork over a coffee! We live fairly remotely so this thoughtful attention to our situation made all the difference. It will be a few years before we need another car, but we'll definitely be back to Jennings!
Purchased my second car from Jennings a Ford Mondeo Titanium X on a 59 plate.
Drives like a new car, cant believe how good it is There isn`t so much as a small scratch
on the bodywork. The service was superb and they delivered the car to my door which is about 3 hundred miles from their depot. The driver went over all the functions of my new car and explained everything. I could not be happier. One small problem was that the Service book was missing...probably down to a previous owner. My first car from Jennings ran like a dream for 5 years I only changed it because I needed an automatic.

I spent my morning feeling uncomfortable and annoyed at another garage who were trying to sell me a car I didn't want, with a finance option I couldn't really afford and a load of extras that I didn't need!!! Grrrr! Left and went to Jennings Ford Direct in South Shields. The salesman Barry greeted me with a huge smile and firm handshake and proceeded to ask me exactly what I wanted. Half an hour later I had the perfect car, a cracking deal and a feeling of relief that I had got exactly what I wanted with no fuss or endless bartering! I decided to buy a 182PS Ford Focus after a test drive at my local dealership in Hemel Hempstead. Unfortunately they didn't have the precise model I wanted. So after an hour searching the internet & a couple of phone calls, I placed an order with Jennings Ford Direct.
After organising the funds, the Titanium X was delivered to my home a fortnight later. I was concerned at such a high value internet purchase, especially since I hadn't seen the car "in the flesh", but I needn't have worried. The car looked like new upon arrival & was supplied with all the correct paperwork & accessories.

My wife and I were treat very well by your staff mainly sales executive Mark Taylor a very personable young man. Good detail regarding the car was forthcoming and a successful test drive ensued. Part exchange and inclusive interior/exterior protection was agreed and the car was purchased immediately. The "instruction" on driving instrumentation and displays was very detailed. I change my cars infrequently so it was good to have a good experience.
