Having just returned from a 10 day holiday flying from Blackpool to Alicante using Jet2 have to compliment all involved in making our trip such a stress free and pleasant experience,from check in to the friendly,smiling cabin crew,everybody we encountered treated us with both respect and courtesy.would highly recommend both Jet2 airline,and Jet2 Holidays.
On the whole we enjoyed the flight out but we had been up a VERY long time and the member of the crew who insisted on shouting, despite the perfectly functioning PA System was very, very irritating. We had chosen NOT to purchase gifts/toileteries/cosmetics during their run down the cabin and blaring on about them ad nauseum when we were trying to sleep was very, very, very annoying!!!!
Apart from that, the cabin service was very acceptable and the staff friendly and helpful.
Was recommended to use Jet2 by our son who travels with them frequently and was not disappointed. I would definitely recommend them for good customer service, good leg room in normal seats (and I have long legs), comfortable journey and reasonably priced refreshments. This will be our benchmark for future flights. Well done Jet2.
I booked and flew with Jet2 for the first time to Mallorca and back. I had read some poor reviews and a little reluctant to choose Jet2, but having been disappointed (and squeezed into my seat) with Monach and with Easyjet prices being higher; I decided to give Jet2 a try. The plane was large, spacious, clean and comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful both on the ground and in the air. I upgraded to extra legroom seats at the airport for no extra cost than had I booked before hand online. I was also surprised how low the prices were for sandwiches and drinks on board. We ordered a bottle of champagne at a great price. The flight was on time, and all in all my partner and I were genuinely impressed. I will definitely fly with them again; especially at the low price we paid.
I have travelled a number of times with Jet2 and have always found everyone to be very friendly and ready to help...never a feeling of being rushed, even when it seems obvious that time is tight. I shall never forget the kindness of the cabin crew and one very special pilot when I lost my iPad in Marco Polo airport. I really mean it when I speak of Jet2 as my favourite airline.
We have travelled with Jet2 many times. We have always found them to be both welcoming and efficient, and consider them to be far more customer friendly than rivals such as Ryanair. Our experience on this occasion when flying out of Manchester was typical - check-in was swift and staff were pleasant and helpful. It was therefore a real shock when we arrived at Venice Marco Polo airport for the return journey home. The local ground operation was a complete shambles. Passengers waiting for the Edinburgh flight were unable to check in but were not given any adequate explanation as to why this was. Consequently, there was a sprawling, disorganised queue, and tempers were frayed. The ground staff were generally unhelpful and one supercilious check-in clerk was particularly dismissive of passenger concerns. Although I assume that these were not actually Jet2 employees, I doubt that many of the inconvenienced passengers would have made this distinction. As it was, it took us over an hour to drop off our single bag - and we were the lucky ones. Many passengers probably counted their blessings that our flight was delayed for an hour. I heard many complaints and feel that it is a shame that Jet2's reputation should be damaged as a result of the poor customer service offered by the Italian ground crew.
I only have one gripe! The cabin crew should have more authority to shut up yelling stags & hens. They ruin a flight by their loud voices shouting to each other. I dread getting on a flight when I see the pink hats & macho t.shirts & it is just my luck to be sitting next to one or two!! They have absolutely no consideration for any one. Some are already drunk when they get on board & continue to drink during the flight getting louder by the minute . This I know is not the fault of Jet 2 who I have the highest regard for but it is a big problem that needs to be sorted.
I have travelled with jet2 several times previously, but was very impressed this time, with the quality of the cabin, legroom and the exceptional customer service. Very friendly, helpful staff. Although I was delayed on the inbound journey, it wasn't the airlines fault as this was due to air traffic strikes in France. I will definitely be booking with jet2 from Blackpool airport in the future.
I have to say that having flown with other budget airlines for a number of years I was starting to think you only get what you pay for. However, Jet2 have changed my opinion. With seat allocation there was no pushing and shoving to get a seat with your travelling group. Both the ground and flight crew made you feel like you were going on holiday and not like cattle going to slaughter, unlike some other budget airlines. I will definitely use Jet2 again.
Friendly staff, excellent at check in desks, fairly good value for money although wish we could take advantage of the cheaper seats jet2offer. Never seem to get them at low prices. However would prefer, where possible, to travel with jet2 every time. Highest baggage allowance and plenty of leg room. Totally satisfied with their service every time.
We're just back from Spain. We flew from Glasgow to Malaga and back. We used Jet2 for the first time and were delighted with the service. Ground crew and cabin crew were all friendly and helpful. Top marks all round! Will definitely use them again.
Having used Jet 2 severavl time over the last 2 years and having used them twice in the last month . Once a Jet 2 holiday and just a flight only cannot fault the staff the plane and in the case of the holiday the hotel . transfers were on time flight on time all in all a really pleasant experience and would not hesitate to recommend Jet 2 to anybody
We travel to Prague from Newcastle to visit friends in the Czech Republic once a year, on this occasion the cabin crew on the flight out were very friendly and polite, coming back was a different storey, one in particular (who was far too fat to be a flight attendant) snapped and snarled her way down the isle until she got to me, then her nasty streak really kicked in. I was listening to the ipod my daughter had bought me for my birthday and kindly put some songs on she knew I liked, being 52 yrs old I am not techno savvy by any stretch of the imagination, little miss nice snapped ''you need to take your earphones out for landing in 10 minutes'' by which I thought she meant I would need to take them out in 10 minutes time for landing, but nooooo, she stomped back to me and snarled rather loudly so everyone could hear ''I've told you to take those earphones out once, I wont tell you again'' now I work as a casino manager and if one of my staff had spoken to a customer like that they would be out the door, what a nasty piece of work she is, she shouldn't be working in a customer based industry, she obviously doesn't like people!!!!
Check in at both Manchester and Tenerife quick, smooth and efficient. Flights on time, airport staff and cabin crew absolutely fantastic. This airline must have the best staff in the business. Smooth flights always a bonus of course
This is our first experience with Jet2.com and it certainly won't be our last! From the smooth check in to our return to East Midlands airport we couldn't fault a single thing. We travelled with my 92 year old mother who required airport assistance and everything was 'spot on'. We were impressed with the amount of leg-room and the staff were extremely friendly, cheerful and happy to help in any way. Pilot announcements were detailed and informative and all in all a great airline.
Yet again Jet2 have amazed me with their brilliant customer service and none of the petty squabbles you get on other airlines! The check in was smooth, no faffing around ramming cases into tiny cages to see if they fit, helpful staff who make eye contact, smile and are interested in you and a superb on flight service. An elderly couple were really well looked after, having their bags taken on for them by willing staff. I think this is possibly the best airline in respect of value for money, but also customer service. I'll certainly be booking with them again soon.
