masquerade didn't fool about...they left the fooling to us

My son decided last minute to go as robot Pete on his rugby tour, I rang and the girls at masquerade who were so helpful they arranged delivery to the holiday park we were going too in woolacoome bay. They were so friendly I will and have already recommended them, we're goin again nxt year so I'll b back online looking for our outfits well in advance. My son looked fab and had a great laff thankyou very much xx

Fast service

Value for money. Fast delivery.

Speedy delivery but damaged product

I have ordered a few times before and normally it's super speedy and good quality, however when I ordered my most recent product, even though it was more that padded in the packaging, my product arrived splintered and cracked in one of the lenses, which can only lead me to believe that it was packaged this way to begin with. Minor issue as it was barely noticeable once the outfit was together, however, It would have been nice to receive an in-tact product.

We like to encourage our customers to contact us if unhappy their purchase in any way, which will enable us to rectify the issues directly with you. As we were unaware of your complaint until this review, we have subsequently contacted you to apologise for any inconvenience caused and have arranged for the glasses to be returned and refunded.

We are satisfied that our warehouse team sufficiently packaged the box but may not have spotted the original manufacturing fault. Please let me assure you that all our items go through stringent quality assurance at the manufacturer however, there is a very small percent which may develop an issue after these checks. This is a very rare issue and hope our service as the retailer will lend us the opportunity to welcome you back to Jokers' Masquerade in the future.

Very good service, extremely quick delivery. Only downside was the size of the costume, I am generally a Medium, Large at a push. I ordered Large to be safe and this came up extremely short on me . This was the Luigi costume.

Excellent service, excellent goods

This is my first order from Jokers Masquerade and I am more than pleased with their service and the order I've made. I've been looking for some dressing up outfits for my 5 year old. This was by far the website with most choice and good prices. Ordered 2 different outfits which arrived in 2 days. Really happy with my purchase.

Excellent and prompt service.

I ordered a Dorothy fancy dress costume for my 11 year old daughter which, when it came, was sadly too big for her. I E mailed the company and was given a returns number and told to return the item complete with the returns number. Th refund was then credited back on to my credit card within literally a day or two! The order was efficiently handled from beginning to end.

I thought the service of receiving my item was fast, efficient with the drop & collect service. Product was exactly as described on website. Overall very happy!

Brilliant service, fantastic communication, a little bit pricey but wouldn't hesitate to use again.

I ordered several items at one time, I was kept fully informed of the delivery status and given the option to change delivery times/dates. Really super service, wouldn't hesitate to use again. A little bit pricey, did find a few of the bits and pieces cheaper however such super service it didn't matter.

Could do with extra small size for jack Russell

Phoned them tuesday. Spoke to an awesome lady, who was very helpful. Paid £2.99 for drop box and it was delivered by Thursday.

Great service on an awesome range of stuff

The speed of the delivery is great, they have a wide range of stuff at prices a lot cheaper than other stores online and in my area and was very pleased with the result of my order.

Good selection of fantastic fancy dress

Good online shop to deal with lots of fancy dress to choose from and recommended accessories to go alongside so you dont forget anything. Only quibble are postage and packing charges VERY high compared to other sites and ebay - BUT they arrive exactly when they say they will.

Great costume, speedy delivery

The costume was a great fit and looked amazing. It was delivered promptly with no problems and was a good price.

Star Wars Tauntaun Costume Inflation System worked surprisingly and amusingly well, but note that costume does not include robe!

Yeah, so I didn't pay enough attention when I was ordering and thought it included the robe. Still the inflatable bit is large enough that it wasn't that much of a big deal. Anyway, when I first tried it out just after receiving it, I neglected to read the instructions, so didn't properly seal things. Needless to say, it didn't work so well. Undeterred, I hoped it'd magically work better on the day with some shiny new Duracell AAs, and lo-and-behold, once I had firmly tightened the various bits and bobs and turned on the fan, the Tauntaun sprang to life!

It's quite a sight to behold! &;D

Delivery was on time (next day), and Joker's Masquerade were quick to chase me up with a phone call after there was an issue with the card I had attempted to use for the purchase.

Great service... just a few minor issues!

First issue... when choosing an outfit, some of the accessories are auto selected. I didn't notice until I was almost through checkout and this would have added an extra £20 to my order!

The wig my wife ordered didn't actually look anything like the wig on the site and shes ordered another wig (from a different site)

Apart from that I cant complain about the service... items dispatched quickly and arrived safely.

Going via the nectar site and getting nectar points is also a plus point!

Package came quickly enough but the box was too small, the mask was crammed in and scratched a little, item was returned due to a change of plan, but still was unhappy with the delivery condition

Please let us assure you that a lot of time and effort goes into ensuring that every order is packaged carefully for safe transit. After investigation, our warehouse manager has confirmed that the costume was packed into our 'standard medium' box. This size is chosen specifically for this costume to hold it comfortably and securely. If you use a 'standard large' box the costume rattles about, and the mask, which is quite fragile, would break in the process of delivery.

We are unable to determine whether the scuff marks on the mask were caused during transit or were an original fault from the supplier but can confirm that a refund has now been accepted and processed for the returned goods.

We are sorry this made a negative impact on your shopping experience with us but hope you understand our explanation and feel you could come back to Jokers' Masquerade in the future.

fast delivery and good quality product

I was very pleased with the fast service I received and the product was just what it said on the website. I would highly recommend this website.

The product came on time and was what i expected.

When i placed the order i was given different delivery options should i not be at home when it was delivered and i requested for the package to be left behind the side secure gate by my front door- unfort this wasnt done so when i came home i found a delivery note telling me i now had to drive to the delivery/posting officer to collect it which was annoying. Especially when i collected it i could see my instructions clearly on the outter packaging.

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. As the retailer, we accepted your order on the Sunday and it was dispatched from our warehouse the next working day as expected.

The 'safeplace' option is available on Royal Mail tracked services and each parcel is clearly marked with desired 'safeplace' instructions upon dispatch from our warehouse. It appears that on this occasion the delivery person was unable to leave as instructed for reasons we are unable to establish. Although they should have followed the instructions, ultimately it is up to the personal discretion of the delivery agent themselves to deliver the parcel safely.

We have launched an investigation with Royal Mail and will ensure this case is highlighted so to ensure their staff are fully aware of this service that they offer.

We apologise for any inconvenience caused and hope our own service as the retailer will lend us the opportunity to welcome you back in the future.

Fantastic buy

Brought the Robin outfit for my son as they were having a superhero day at school he is 9yrs of and brought him the large and was a perfect fit and most of all he enjoyed wearing it only one small suggestion as these are meant for boys think they should have studs near the middle so our little men can go toilet without having to take the whole thing off but overall very satisfied customer

The costume arrive on time which was great but the qaility of the material was not tht good .. My child only wore it for couple of hours and the threading was undone also had some marks on the shirt before he wore it !!!
