While Joey is pleasant to speak with, I have been shipped a wrong engine for my Yukon, installed it where my mechanic told me as well as Joey it was the wrong engine ,shipped back ,was promised a rebuilt engine and some compensation for all the problems but engine was never shipped. They finally promised a credit of $2750 which was cost of engine but my credit has not been received. If you cannot see the product, do not buy it. He now refuses to take my calls or e mails. It sounds like a one man operation where he is the only person in house. I recommend that you do not buy from this company

I was in the market for a used engine and transmission and I was searching everywhere. It wasn't until my brother recommended Junkyard Jungle to me that I found exactly what I was looking for.
I called for a price quote and I was immediately shocked at how much more affordable they were compared to everyone else I'd called. At first I thought it was almost too good to be true. I talked to them on the phone for quite a while and they were very knowledgeable and were able to answer every question I had down to the smallest detail.
Once they told me that they were giving me free shipping and a one year warranty on both the engine and tranny, I was sold. I ordered right away. They even allowed me to pay by invoice, another +1 for me.
The (Free) shipping was incredibly fast, and I was very happy when I received my used engine and transmission in near perfect condition, suffice it to say, I was in the backyard with my cherry picker all day, swapping out engines.
Junkyard Jungle has far exceeded my expectations, and I'm more than pleased with their products and service. I highly recommend them for anyone in the market for a used engine or transmission!
THEY ARE A BUNCH OF LIARS! On Dec 26 I submitted an internet request for a quote. <Name Removed> was quick to call me back and told me he had an engine in stock with only 51k that he could ship out either today or tomorrow and I would have it by Jan 9th. So I gave him my CC and told him to ship it ASAP. When I spoke to him a few days later he told me it should be there on time or a day late. OK, I can deal with a day late. But then, the 10th comes and goes and no engine. So, I call him again and he gives me this lame story about how the engine got mis-shipped by the trucking company to Georgia (supposed to be going to Mass.), and it would take another three days (15th). On the 15th, I call him again to find out where it is and he tells me the shipping company lost it. He calls me back later that day to say they found it again and it would be here in three days (18th). I finally got the engine on the 18th. When I pulled it out of the crate to inspect it, the tag on it said 197K, not 51k like I ordered. The tag and bill of lading also said that it was shipped from Webster's Used Auto Parts in CT the day after I talked to him on the phone (16th), not a week or so prior. So, I had to wait until Monday (21st) to call him. He told me that that engine was supposed to go to someone else and that they still had MY engine on the dock in El Paso. So, he sends the guy from Webster's Used Auto Parts out to pick up the engine that same day (21st). The owner from Webster's came out himself and expressed concern that I was unhappy with it. I told him what happened and he confirmed that JUNKYARD JUNGLE had lied to me about it. He took the engine back and told me to call him if it doesn't work out. <Name Removed> told me that they were shipping out the correct engine tomorrow morning was the soonest. Then on Thursday (24th), <Name Removed> at Junkyard Jungle, tells me that they are shipping it out that day. I was irritated that I was LIED to again and told him so. He said there was nothing that he could do, but they paid an extra $85 for guaranteed delivery and that it would take 5 business days (31st) to get here. It never showed up. So, I called him and spoke with <Name Removed> again. He told me that he didn't know what happened, but he would call the shipping company to find out where it is. The next day, since I didn't get a call from him, I called him and asked if he found out what happened. He told me that he has it on the dock right now and it will go out today. ARE YOU F***ING KIDDING ME!! I then cancelled my order and told him to give me my money back. THEY ARE A BUNCH OF LIARS AND I HAVE NO PATIENCE FOR THAT! I will find someone else to buy an engine from. Sorry for the long story. Bottom line; JUNKYARD JUNGLE IS A BUNCH OF LIARS!
I am a single mother of three little ones. When the transmission of my Ford Windstar went out my mechanic told me to look online for a used one because it is cheaper. Am I glad I did!!
Joey at Junkyard Jungle sent me a quote for a used transmission with 65,000 miles on it. The price was less than others and the warranty (1 year) was way longer than most of the other 30 day warranties.
My mechanic received everything on time, and it was installed without any mishaps. I am now on my 3rd month and could not be happier. Please buy with confidence. - Gail R. Mayfield, KY
