very bad business practice
i order from just eat on a regular basis from a restaurant in Portsmouth. Order accepted delivery time 45 minutes. 33 minutes later the phone goes, just eat the restaurant have rejected your order?? Why because it is too far to deliver?? i live just over a mile away?? meanwhile just eat ear mark the funds in your bank making it impossible to order more food, so once again left with no money and no food. This would be ok if it was a one off but it is not. I phoned the restaurant to discover the order was accepted by just eat on their behalf?? Why do they take your money or tie it up in limbo when they do not know if the food is available?? Why do they think it is acceptable to leave families with no food to eat or money to go elsewhere?? ordering a takeaway is supposed to be a treat, not with just eat!!
