I have ordered from just eat on numerous occasions. Now, every company makes mistakes, but with good customer service, most things can be forgiven.
Here are three of the most annoying cases of terrible service I have received in the last few months.
At number three, we have the man who threw our meal at us and shouted 'you order no more!!! Too far!!'. If I live to far away, just eat should have our address as a possible delivery.
And at number two we have a customer service representative laughing at me as I called to complain. It wasn't funny. I'd ordered a Chinese for my partner who had had a terrible day. I'd ordered it for when he'd got home, two hours later. They delivered it earlier than requested and refused to take it back. I called just eat to complain, but was told I should be glad that theyd managed to complete my order in forty minutes. When I said that I wanted to have it delivered AT THE TIME I RQUESTED he laughed at me and told me I should be grateful. My poor boyfriend sat down to cold noodles and chicken which had been kept warm for an hour, needless to say, he didn't feel great the next day. But it's okay, he should be grateful it was delivered after all.
And finally, at our number one slot, this evening I ordered from a restaurant which was apparently closed. I ordered, paid, received my order number (46641480, if you're interested) and waited an hour and a half. No delivery. Tried to check the restaurant Number and discovered it was closed, although we'd been able to order and the money was taken from my account. Called customer service, told 5-7 days to get back my money and that the company had told me they were busy and we hadn't been able to order. Well we had, how else would I have an order number?
So... Terrible service, use hungry house. Or order it from china, probably easier.
