Without JUST EAT, I don't think takeaways in the UK would be at a stage, even in 2013, where they could offer an online ordering service. Most takeaways are independent, family-owned businesses and don't have the resources or cash to have transactional websites developed, maintained and operated.
Being able to view a menu, order, pay and then provide feedback all via one site is fantastic. I live within a stone's throw of several takeaways and almost all of them now display the JUST EAT log in their windows.
People may complain about the service they receive from specific takeaways... fair enough... but surely having sites like this in existence has meant survival for many independent businesses who could have otherwise gone out of business in recent 'tough economic times'.
