Experiencing A problem

Usually the site is great, but it went down just as was making an order; It looks like the money has left my account, but I'm unsure whether or not the order went through. I need help! And if the order didn't go through I would like some sort of refunding.

A revolution in ordering food

I think Just Eat is awesome ;)
It is very nice to be able to order online, and saves disputes later as there is a record of the order and the time promised. Takeaways are rated on their performance which is a strong motivator to push up the level of service as they are competing on Just Eat for the top ratings.

You can pay by card online, or by cash at the door, which is another nice feature. I no longer order from takeaways that do not use 'Just eat'.

In short - the future is here and it's Just Eat! (The adverts are funny too)

Great,sorted a problem out i had with a payment straight away...Highly recommended :)

Ive been a customer of justeat for quite a while,not to long ago i placed an order with a local takeaway but before the whole process went through something went wrong with the connection which mean't the takeaway did not recieve my order but payment had gone out of my account,i was rang by a member of there team before i even had a chance to contact them,the problem was dealt with,they emailed me a voucher so i could pay for my order and said how sorry they were and this was at 1 in the morning ,obviously they are dedicated to helping customers,very pleased,highly recommened :)

Excellent service always

I always use just eat as they are a no 1 service . They have many menus to choose from and a variety of dishes, all the food I have ordered has always arrived earlier than expected and the food is always piping hot .

Just eat dont cook

I always use just eat its easier since i can use it on my computer or mobile easy as 123 1 choose your food 2 order your food 3 eat your food great and i get the choice of paying cash or with my card ill recommend just eat on places like facebook you get the haters you always do but iv never had a single problem with just eat yeah i have with the actual restaurants but never with just eat 5million star rating wouldnt be enough for me

As easy as [Insert Cuisine]

Just Eat is perfect for when you want a Take a Way but have no cash. Paying online insures that it's all hassle free.
Plus you can see your order clearly so if something is missing you can see if you actually ordered it.

A great site which is deadly to diets

just-eat has made ordering takeaways so hassle free, no more mis-ordering because of someone not understanding you on the telephone. Pay by card - no hassle there either. All good... and range is getting better each time - great!

Fantastic

I love just eat, it has made ordering takeaways so hassle free, no more mis-ordering because of someone not understanding you on the telephone, not surprise charges when the food arrives & it means not having to rush out & get cash. It's brilliant.

Perfect service with a large choice

After a long hard day, and not wanting to cook or clean, just eat is perfect. We order at least once a month from this website and have never been disappointed with the service; except on a few occasions but that was the takeaway's fault not just eat. They're constantly adding new takeaways and i recommend justeat to all my friends.

Poor Service, rubbish customer relations

Definitely don't use unless you want to be let down. You are much better contacting takeaways direct, usually you get better service and quicker delivery by contacting takeaways direct. If you have to pay by card ask the takeaway if they have their own website for ordering. I had a problem where my order was rejected - the reason being that it was too far (if you could say 1 mile was too far!) the customer service rep who called me to confirm the rejection was rude and offensive, and lets face it who wants to be put out by a company who can't be bothered with your order - AVOID don't give this company something for nothing go direct! Even if just one person is put off ordering by reading my review would be worth it! AVOID AVOID AVOID Middlemen making money off everyone and giving really poor service in return!

I'm rally sorry to see this. We currently work on the first half of the delivery postcode. Some postcodes can stretch over 10 miles (mostly in rural areas). Majority of takeaway whether they are on JUST EAT or not will deliver within a 3 mile radius. This is why we give the takeaways the option to reject orders based on distance.

In your case, your order should not have been cancelled. If it was, it may have been because the takeaway refused to do the order and if so we have processes in place in situations like this.

!! POOOR !!

Very bad – unacceptable experience, unreasonable and rude conduct. After a order was cancelled i put a honest but obviously low scoring review about a restaurant . This resulted in a late night call from just-eat staff attempting to bully myself into removing the review. This is unacceptable and will from now use the traditional methods.

cheap and nasty

Ordered two pizzas and some cheesey fries and some pain ones . The pizzas hardley had any toppings and the fries had minimal cheese on top wont order again

Good company but blame it on the takeaway

I ordered a takeaway totalling £8.60 from 4 Seasons in Sedgley. The food was due to arrive at 20:20, however it did not arrive at this time. I went on Live Chat to ask someone what time it would be arriving and the lady said 20:20. I stated that it was now 20:25 so how was it going to arrive at 20:20!? She said she would ring the takeaway which she did for me and I was told it would arrive within 15 minutes. It wasn't until 20:55 (35 minutes after the stated delivery time) that I actually received my takeaway.

Because it was so late, I was putting my son to bed and my younger sister opened the door. The man was very rude, he handed her the bag and said 'I'm charging you a pound extra' and then walked off. No explanation was given. In this case because of the long wait, I felt it would be more appropriate for myself to have received some kind of discount instead of them charging extra!

Again, I spoke to a member of staff on Live Chat who stated that he would contact the company for me. He said that JustEat cannot take responsibility for each company but that the company woud return the £1 to me within 30 minutes.

My problem is that this company will continue to be used on the website and I think JustEat should take responsibility for any companies they use that are of poor service.

Excellent customer service though, thanks to Fabiola and Ahmed for helping me out.

Sizzle in sizzled out

I have no problems with the Just Eat site in fact love being able to order take away with such ease. But this evening for my grandaughters 16th birthday I ordered 2 Pizzas,a chicken fillet burger meal with fries and corn on the cob costing £26-95 From The SIZZLE IN BARROW IN FURNESS first and last time it was the worst ever the chicken was tough and dry even my dog wouldnt eat it and the fries were cold and I can get better Pizza's for £2 fronm the local freezer shop NO BARROWS SIZZLE IN HAS DEFNITELY SIZZLED OUT OF MY ORDER BOOk

Overall A Good Customer Experience, But We've Had Our Issues!

I've been using Just Eat for roughly about 6/7 years after being introduced by a friend. I thought the concept was an amazing one and fits me perfectly. I hate ringing up to place orders, I just want to see what's on offer, tell you what I want, pay and go about my business. Their service allowed me to do exactly that.

Where we've had our issues were around refunds after restaurants have either taken money from my card and failed to deliver, or been quite rude. I remember that I had to complain to them regarding one particular outlet who took money, delivered a bad AND incomplete order, and then harassed me for the best part of a month afterwards, because I left a detailed review, recounting everything that happened. JE did not protect me from or put a stop to the behaviour until the very end of the encounter, despite my complaints which, in my opinion, made them just as responsible.

By way of apology, I was eventually offered a voucher that I did not receive and the process of trying to procure that I had a further rigmarole that almost stopped me from using them altogether. In both instances, i finally got my refund and reparations, but I still feel that neither situation should ever have been allowed to escalate to those degrees and that occurred because there are not proper monitoring procedures in effect.

Great range of restaurants, so quick and easy

I usually always go for Chinese so don't have any experience of using other types of food take aways, but they have plenty of Chinese in both areas that I have lived in the past few years and the process is quick and easy.
Instead of just having to stick with whatever take away leaflet you have at home, you can browse loads of different menus on here and they save your details so ordering is a breeze.
Great, especially if you are feeling lazy :p

As stated above just-eat is the easiest way to browse your local takeaways, and order from them straight to your door. No need to resort to the big expensive companies when you want to order online!

We all know these awful moments - getting cash from credit card is definitely not a smart move. But stomach's rumbling... Then - JustEat. And all your taste buds are crying for will be delivered to your door at any time. Even when being at your friend's place - log in, type the postcode - and all cuisines are only a click away. No computer? Use your smartphone.

A great service when i cannot be bothered to cook

This is a great service.There is one problem i live out in the sticks & if i order from a takeaway more than 4 miles away,which most are ,the food arrives freezing cold & ends up in the bin. My nearest take away is great,but i dont know why they charge more for the delivery on just eat & the 50p for the use of my debit card stinks. The service is still pretty good & know just eat is there if i cannot get to the post office to get any cash

Waiting for order?

I have just ordered some food about 20 mins ago. I was told to get an email when the restaurant has accepted my payment I have not got an email yet and is wondering if the restaurant has got my order. I would contact the restaurant myself but I don't see a number to call. What do I do?

Be warned about just eat

I have found out from my bank that there has been a lot of theft of bank details via just eat. I tried to order one night two weeks ago and i had 2 cards blocked by two different banks, My wife tried and her cards were blocked. Upon asking the next day we were told that just eat had become known for issues in relation to theft of CC details or orders done via someone else's cards. I must admit i have used just eat a lot over the last few months and now i have the feeling i may not use them anymore. Three different banks we use cannot be mistaken. Until just eat sort their problems i suggest no one uses them

Just to let you know, JUST EAT don't hold any credit/debit card details, all the data is anonymous through our payment provider, CyberSource (who are used by Apple for iTunes payments in the UK).

Any card payments also go through 3-D secure (eg, Verified by Visa password or MasterCard SecureCode) so we have protection in place for those who are attempting to fraudulently use someone else's details.

Fast Food just got Faster!

I use Just Eat to order our weekly take out. It's quick, easy, there's no queing or having to go out in the cold and the delivery charge of only £2.00 is cheaper than it would cost us to go pick it up ourselves.

Amazing service!

I love using Just Eat to order takeaway! I suffer from anxiety which means I struggle to use the telephone, but now with Just Eat's wonderful service I can order a takeaway without feeling stressed or anxious! They provide a variety of different types of takeaway, with very good discounts on some too! I tell everyone I know about Just Eat as I think it is the best way to order takeaway!

I started using just eat just over a year ago, every time I have used them I've never had a problem, food has always been amazing and I've even occationally been given extra drinks from certain take aways. Would recommend to everyone.

Useful and Reliable

I've been using Just Eat for a couple of years now. I find their service extremely useful compared to the more traditional method of phoning up the takeaway as I don't have to hold onto (and then go find) a number of takeaway menus at home. It has also allowed me to try out new takeaways, and to easily order in food when I'm staying over at friends' places and don't know any local takeaways. My only concern is that I'm now moving to a new address where they don't have any takeaways signed up. However, after saying to them on Twitter, they asked me to forward details of the local takeaways and with some luck some of those might have signed up by the time I move!

always fabulous choices of food

always lots of choice of different foods no one has to eat what they don't want so everyone has a treat meal takeaway, what more can you want
