So, the restaurant advertised 6 pieces of sashimi (at a horribly expensive price). I ordered three. All were well short of 6 pieces, and worse, it was sliced super thin. Basically, I got less than half of what I paid for and what would be normal for the price in similar restaurants.
Just eat (via their rep 'Stephen') put me in contact with the restaurant manager who offered me 'a free portion next time' I ate there...
...really, this was horrible sashimi, why would I want to eat there again. I told the manager that. When I told 'Stephen' that the solution wasn't acceptable, he simply turned off chat saying that I was being 'difficult' and that they were just a 'delivery company'.
I recommend not eating sashimi at TROPICA, DALKEY and not expecting any help from just-eat if an order goes wrong. Horrible experience.
We ordered on line but got a call from Just Eat saying the order was canceled as the restaurant couldn't deliver to our address. We then ordered from a completely separate takeaway. When the pizza man arrived we assumed it was from the other order and paid, but when we opened it, realised it was the just eat order that was meant to be canceled. It was also too late to cancel our new order, so had to pay for that too. Just Eat said they could only give us a voucher for what we paid, as we'd payed cash so couldn't get a refund. This voucher has not yet been given to us. I do not recommend using Just Eat
Such a poor communicator.I also had my order cancelled because the restaurant at 1.15 miles away even though it was on my list.I had paid by debit card and was told I would get a refund in 7 to 10 days. Simply not good enough
I ordered a takeaway from a chinese and was then told they wouldn't deliver to my area....even though they are on my list !!! However my card would still be charged and i would have to wait up to 5 days for a refund.....i was flabbergasted, however i ordered another chinese from my list and when the order came we were missing an item. after telephoning the restaurant, i was told that they couldn't refund my card for the missing item but they would drop the refund off later that evening....no refund arrived !! I used the 'chat' option to inform 'just eat' of the matter and they agreed to refund my card to the amount of the missing item....a month and a half later andi am still awaiting the refund. All in all, a very unsatisfactory service that i won't be using again.
I rated this website 1 out of 5 because apparently your not allowed to give ZERO stars. This was the worst experience I have ever had online. I ordered my food at 10 30 pm. Upon ordering my food, I came to this website and read the reviews on the company, only to find all the bad ratings. So I decided I was going to cancel my order. Only to find out how unhelpful the website is in this matter. It says there is a live chat function where you send a message and it will respond. I Sent FIVE MESSAGES asking how to cancel and requested my order cancelled. WITH NO REPLY. Then the only number on the website is a number in toronto, where I called and left a voicemail. STILL NO CALL BACK. eventually my food showed up. THREE HOURS LATER WHEN I WAS SLEEPING. at 130 my doorbell rings, at this point im angry and not hungry. I told the driver i dont want the food and that it was cancelled. however my card was still charged, and im looking into a refund. THIS IS THE WORST WEBSITE. DO NOT USE, DO NOT GIVE YOUR CREDIT CARD INFORMATION
