I ordered an outside extension lead with weatherproof socket the most expensive one on offer. It seems to be high quality and I am pleased.
As I wanted to use it at the weekend I paid £5-99 for delivery within 24/48 hrs. This request was put into the website at around 1600 hrs on Thursday. I expected delivery would be on Saturday so I could do the work during the weekend. Many items have been delivered by Amazon for instance on Saturdays. How am I to know this companies delivery people DON'T deliver Saturdays? Why doesn't a warning flash up to notify me there's no point requesting urgent delivery as it will only arrive the following week.
I contacted the vendor to explain my disappointment and received an email expressing sorrow for any confusion caused and pointing out it is somewhere on their website that it explains about orders entered after 1600 hrs.
Please learn from my mistake. I have to say that this company were selling the item for about £8 less than other companies and so that encouraged me to splash out on the URGENT delivery so I guess I still got a bargain!
