Part of order missing, packaging poor and disorganised

ORDER NO: 3294
I have already emailed you to say the order was incomplete, with 1 (of 3) poles, 12 (of 42) rings, 2 (of 6) brackets and 4 (of 6) metal fittings missing. All 6 finials did arrive separately. Frankly, with all the different bits being sent in different boxes and packaged in different ways, eg some rings together with brackets in one sealed plastic tube, other rings & brackets loose in a box, it is not really surprising that items are missing.

    Hello Mr Ford
    We are sorry to hear that the order is not complete, and not as expected. The components will be delivered in separate boxes as the poles ordered are made to Order and not pre-packed in acetate as some of the cheaper pole sets available.
    We need to check with the warehouse as from the telephone conversation we have just had, it seems the list in your review various components are not in the delivery, it now appears that you are 1 pole set missing, and this could be a missing box.
    As we were not aware of the problems as you left an email on Friday night and out of hours, then reviewed our company, we have had no prior warning of problems, which we can assure you we will have rectified on Monday when the warehouse and carriers are available to contact.
    It may be also worth mentioning to allow other readers to know, we delivered a made to order product on the 4th working day, which is a very quick turnaround, and it could be a simple missing or delayed box.
    Surely this cannot be called disorganized.

    As first thought the missing parts were simply down to a missing box, this box was in the carrier’s warehouse and was scheduled for delivery 29-4-13 or 30-4-13.
    All the parcels were dispatched at the same time and unfortunately sometimes the carriers do have problems, unfortunately this caused a slight delay, but still a made to order product delivered in 5 working days.
