The Kegel8 gadget itself is wonderful - it's made a great difference to my life. So many, many thanks for that.
However, it was quite expensive to buy initially (£125) but I suppose, as I was able to afford it, that's not much to pay for such an improvement in my quality of life.
The disappointment for me was the realisation that I would have to buy a new probe every 3-6 months at a further cost of nearly £20 after p+p has been added.
The reason for this appears to be that the wiring connecting the probe to the actual Kegel8 unit is very delicate. Why? Surely it's possible to make this wiring far more robust. I can't help thinking it's deliberately made like this to ensure continuing custom.
A pity because, as I say, the unit is very good if used on a daily basis and obviously helps women like myself who have been struggling with a very distressing problem. But we are all subject to the financial facts of life and for many of us an ongoing expense of £40-£80 a year is a real consideration.
