Order was placed for Velux windows online, immediately I had an email confirming the order and in 20 min an email confirming delivery date direct from Velux! Can't fault Ken's Yard at all! Excellent service.....keep up the good work!
Ken's Yard has an excellent range of skylight windows and accessories that are really simple to search and price on their website.
As a 'novice', I found their product details, images and online support chat box very useful and easy to use. The information video was also a very good starting point for getting our heads round which type of window would best suit our needs!
Having chosen our windows, the prompt delivery service and email updates ensured there were no unnecessary delays in our build - very happy!
Kens yard delivered my purchase quickly it was good quality and value for money. However because my purchase was unsuitable the service to get my order collected for return has not been good. Had a response to my email immediately asking condition of parcel . I replied that it was intact and not been opened by me at all just instructions for fitting read and now have heard nothing since. I suppose because they cant get me on that and they know they have to collect and refund my money they are trying to stall. I will send them photograph of parcel today and then they have no excuse but to arrange a collection. Not happy wont buy online again will go to Hardware shop in future.
Placed order for roof windows and then after a week of not hearing any comunication I rung them, to be told they hadn't ordered them or didn't know when they would, was told next day would have answer.... 4 days later fianlly got told order had been placed, delivery arrived and only half the order had actually been ordered.....so what I saved on cost of windows I lots twice over in paying builders!!! Quite honestly don't use them if you actually need the product, they are an agent and order once you order with them..... Slow!!!
Hello, I was asked to order a specific type of stainless steel hinges & found the website very easy to use & was well advised of cost/delivery etc.
Following the order, I was updated on 3 different occasions about the progress of the order & received the goods within 3 working days, well impressed & would deffo use again!
I ordered a large velux window, flashing kit and blind from Kens Yard, the price was good and notification of delivery prompt. The velux window was badly handled in transit and arrived damaged twice by the same freight delivery company, the third time Kens Yard used a different service for delivery and the window arrived undamaged. Kens Yard were sympathetic, civilised throughout and dealt with the problem promptly.
I purchased two roof windows and paid straight away but not receiving any response or delivery called after 5 days to get an update where I was informed that they haven't got the same in stock but will inform me next day, again after not receiving a call contacted them next day late to get an update I was informed that still they can't process my order and therefore if I need refund they will process immediately and will let me know through e-mail.
After not receiving my payment as promised straight away to protect my self issued a resolution for refund through Paypal where I was fortunate enough got refund second day but only my own money which they made interest on to keep in their bank account or noting named as good will gesture thanks God saved from big scam.
I found what I was looking for but delivery on time but damaged instructions
left at the works and fittings were left there as well.
So many phone calls when the works were shut before 08.30 and after 17.00 hrs
before help could be obtained.
I've used Ken's Yard before which prompted me to return. Quite apart from a customer services team who a delight to deal with, produsts are top notch and costs as competitve as they need be. I've spent well into four figures with them on each occasion and have no qualms in recommending them to anyone.

There was a delay on delivery from Velux manufacturer but the very helpful girls sorted this and kept me informed as promised.

Did place the order on Sunday got it delivered on Tuesday! Super quick! When I order the blinds I did place the order with wrong mesure had a quick call from Caroline about the wrong mesure and she help me out straight away and helped me on refound and new blinds order! U can't go wrong!
Attracted initially by the claim to offer the best online prices for Velux windows, I placed an order for a flat-roof window and found the online ordering system both efficient and effortless.
Unfortunately, the efficiency of the company was not remotely matched by the independent carrier!
However, that said, the Kens Yard team responded superbly to not only deal with the difficulties caused by the inefficient carrier but ensured a continung team involvement quite literally up to the moment of the eventual delivery of the ordered items!
Apparently, even the MD of the company involved himself in sorting the difficulties and, overall, I would say that in terms of customer care Kens Yard really did go that extra distance to put the customer interest above its own!
Highly recommended and no better way of following that by preparing to place with confidence an order for several more windows!

We have recently several items from Ken's Yard. Caroline wasn't sure we'd put in the right order and phoned us to check before processing. Then she phoned us again to let us know there was a delay. What a service! We're really impressed. Also, we live in Cornwall and Ken's Yard is in Scotland and yet it feels like they're on our doorstep. Brilliant!
