Fears that were proved to be groundless
My experience with the staff at Kens Yard was very good - assistance in placing the order was second to none. Caroline and Kalie were particularly helpful when I had many fears about delivery company (the one used for my delivery had very bad reviews). The terms and conditions could have limited my experience if the items had been damaged and needed returning. In the event, all was well. Items delivered in timescale given. Items were well packed and in good condition. I will not hesitate to use Kens Yard again - with the caveat, that I would avoid the particular courier if possible.

Fantastic product! Fantastic prices! Fantastic delivery! Fantastic staff!
I was quoted for replacement doors but decided to "google" to see what and who was in the market and found Ken's Yard. Everything just went smooth a silk and I got my six J B Kind doors well within my requested 7 days and Ken's yard beat everyone on price by quite a handsome margin. Will go back for all other house "stuff" and recommend everyone else to do the same. Can't beat Ken, his yard and his team!!!

Great velux windows
Fully informed about order and when to expect it through emails which was great. I had phoned up before placing the order to check it would be dispatched straight away, but was a bit annoyed when I had an email to say it would take longer than expected! Everything was great otherwise.

Good service but courier company not easy to contact
Night Freight are need easy to contact to get an update on the delivery time. Could not find website using google that worked. So telephoned and then told to ring the local depo and given another number. All to hard compared to other couriers.

The staff were very friendly and knowledgeable. The prices are very competitive. Goods delivered on time. Not happy with Night Freight, driver rude and pushy, not happy to allow us time to inspect goods. Would use this company again but would request different company to deliver goods.

Packaging of three items looked like they had been chewed by a dog
Three items arrived in dog eared packaging wrapped in packing tape and as I was away at the time of delivery I was unable to inspect. As it happens the items were undamaged but still surplus to requirements, but how could I return the items in packaging that looked like they had been minced and then wrapped by a three year old at christmas? I spent over a thousand pounds on velux windows and flashing kits, but the three additional items mentioned above that cost approx seventy pounds have blown your chances of further purchases. Well done Kens Yard!

Thanks for the feedback and apologies for the poor condition of the packaging. Was it Ken's Yard tape that was wrapped around the boxes? The goods come into us in the morning from VELUX and are sent out by our Warehouse guys to the customer in the afternoon using 3rd party carriers. I just need to clarify whether the damaged packaging was caused in transit from VELUX or in transit from Us. If the tape was not Kens Yard tape, this would indicate the boxes left us in condition and were damaged in transit and poorly 'patched' up in one of the carrier depots which I will need to discuss with the carrier. If it was Ken's Yard tape then the boxes must have come into us in poor condition and one of our guys did a poor attempt to patch them up. In this scenario, we may have been best to send the goods straight back to VELUX and ask for replacements - however this would have delayed your delivery by 1 - 2 days. Would you have preferred this?
Thanks again for the feedback and apologies. I would request that you do give us another chance in future. As you can see from the other reviews, we get things right 95% of the time. I want our service to be the best available so will ensure your experience on this occasion is not repeated.
