In recent times I bought a voucher through KGB for a Body massage with Beauty by Zan in Holloway Road. I made a formal complaint about the poor administrative and record-keeping skills of this merchant, Beauty By Zan. Accordingly, I requested a full refund. In brief, when I visited the merchant Beauty by Zan on Thursday 19th September 2013 I was told after I undressed that, according to their records my appointment was on Tuesday 17th September. I then had to dress and leave utterly humiliated, despite my protestation that the error was not mine, and it was the merchant who had made an incorrect entry into their diary. I can a scan of my diary that clearly shows my appointment is entered on the 19th September.
Interestingly, and of critical relevance, upon review of my diary, I provide additional evidence that this is not the first time that I have been a victim of this merchant's dreadful administration of their appointments. On 4th October 2012 I purchased a voucher for a combined facial treatment together with back, neck and shoulder massage. This was redeemed on the 8th March 2013 and the appointment made for 2pm on the 26th March. I arrived promptly at 1.55 pm on the 26th March. At the salon I was informed by the merchant that I was double-booked and that they had incorrectly allocated two clients for that single time slot. The merchant abruptly announced that I should leave and make another booking. I was extremely unhappy about this unprofessional way in dealing with their error given that I had travelled some distance for my appointment. Fortunately, the other client, who lived locally made the very kind gesture of allowing me to take the appointment as travelling was not an issue for her. Again, I can provide a further scan of my diary that shows the entry for my appointment on the 26th March.
I wonder how many other clients have been subjected to similar problems because of this merchant's inability to manage its apppoinment timetable?
I would like to add that for many years I have been receiving various beauty treatments and massages at least twice a week from many different salons, and I categorically state that I have never been subjected by any of these to such a bad experience as that at Beauty By Zan. I should also like to add that the issue is not primarily reimbursement of the £12 fee. Indeed, I regularly donate money to charity, cancer research, sponsor a child, and willingly give my time in helping to feed homeless people and give comfort to the aged. Rather, and I want to be emphatically clear on this, it is the total lack of professionalism and courtesy displayed by this merchant that must be addressed. After numerous emails exchanged with KGB. KGB just keep telling me that the merchant said my appointment was on 17th September instead of 19th September!!! Then I got PayPal involved and refunded ne the £12. This reflects very badly upon the selection criteria of merchants by KGB and the ways KGB handle disputes!!!!
Honest and trusting people like myself should not have to endure this kind of treatment.
I bought a weekend away voucher for my inlaws for their wedding anniversary at the end of January 2013, and it was valid for a whole year. They booked a weekend away at the end of Feb for this weekend. Turned up today, and the hotel has gone into liquidation!! What a joke KGB deals are. Did they let me know the hotel had gone bust? No they didn't but they were quite happy to take my money off me. Beware anything they are selling on this site will either be faulty, not delivered or the company is struggling, and go bust. I have had nothing but trouble with various purchases and I now refuse to buy anything off them.
I used my voucher nearly 2 months ago and contacted kgb deals CS after I hadn't received anything a few weeks later. It took them nearly 2 weeks to get a response from the merchant who said it had been shipped. So I told them again that I hadn't received anything, another several days later they say the merchant shipped a replacement. That was nearly 3 weeks ago so I emailed them again about 6 days ago and haven't received a response. I tried calling them today and all I got was an automated message saying "our advisors are busy helping other customers, please send us an email".
I can't get my money back through my bank because I used PayPal and PayPal won't give me my money back because the 45-day-period has ended.
I use groupon, wowcher, etc all the time but kgb deals has been my worst experience with any online purchase so far.
KGB Got me a refund and were responsive - so as a company they are good - but they should allow an option to review the products/offers so people can voice their opinion and help other beware of scamming companys - like my experience with JACKIE & CO SHELLAC MANI & PEDI

I had a voucher booked for Shellac Manicure & Pedicure via another voucher website. I called two week sin advance to make my appointment. This was to be the day before my wedding day. The day arrived, and i called at 2pm to confirm my appointment which was for 5:30. The lady on the phone said yes thats all fine.
I arrived at the salon, and a really rude lady came to tell me i didn't have an appointment and that she had a client so she couldn't deal with me. I was gobsmacked and started to explain that someone had confirmed that afternoon and i even showed the call i made on my phone. She was absolutely dismissive and didnt want to hear a word i was saying. I continued to speak and she literally TURNED HER BACK AND WALKED AWAY FROM ME!!!!
Well, that is the worst thing she could have done. I erupted into a fit of anger and created a scene (very unlike me) . She certainly got a full mouthful from me and so did the owner of the salon - Adima, who defended his rude staff and had very little to consolidate for the whole situation.
I am now getting a refund for my voucher - but wow - awful experience and disgusting staff.

I purchased the deal from My Diet Loss. I had a few issues as i was putting the wrong code into the My Diet Loss website. When i called they were very helpfull and i recieved my order the very next day. I have started the plan and the products are the best diet meal replacment packs i have tasted. It is also the best variety i have seen so far. Cant praise the office staff at My Diet Loss highly enough and the delivery was excellent - well recommended!!!!
I ordered my print from digitalcanvasprinting.co.uk it never came, I was told it was coming in 10 days and apologies but the owner had been very unwell, it never came, then they didn't seem to know anything about it, then it was on its way, then it wasn't coming and I would get a refund, then he can't refund my postage as he hasn't got any cheques.
Does anyone know how to legally pursue this company? I am now at the point I do not believe he was unwell and feel it is a disgusting excuse to use one people!
Deal companies should have a responsibility to check the companies are legitimate and able to deliver the goods.
I also hate the KGB system of making a complaint, your cant just email or talk to someone. I will never use them again. When I have had problems with living social deals I have managed to easily contact someone that resolved it quickly.

The deals is completed rip me off . I purchase 2x Three-night Barcelona via Clear Sky Holidays. Holiday actual cost only worth £234 but they charge me more than £400.
After you purchased the deal via this site, you are unable to request refund. The only way is you have to paid extra surcharge as Clear Sky Holidays demand. Otherwise, your deals will be dismissed. I am so so regret to buy this holiday via KGBDEAL

I tried to get a refund for an unused voucher within their cancellation period and was given numerous excuses for delay, trying to take me over the time.
It took 6 weeks and a registered letter thretaening small claims court for them to move.
TRY IT Just send them a threat of small claims court and you will get a response.

What an abysmal company. Poor customer service that is more intent on sending you to their website which sends you round in round in circles and not making any effort to rectify your complaint. Bought a restaurant voucher from kgb , cannot ever contact restaurant New York cut liverpool , basically they take your money and then do not want to know , I have bought from living social and groupon and never had a problem , do not spend your hard earned cash with kgb deals , CON MERCHANTS ! Does not even deserve 1 star ! Do not use kgb deals if you want to use the item you buy !
I ordered an item for my daughter, advertised as 'perfect christmas gift' on the 28th November. When i still hadn't recieved the item towards the end of Decamber i contacted them and was told it was being sent out on Christmas Eve. When i had STILL not recieved it two weeks later I wwas told they'd send it on the 11th Janbuary. I am STILL waiting and being fobbed off.
I can see that I am not the only person this has hapenned too which means they are making an awful lot of money from people, without having to supply the goods.
Totally discusted with them and will be letting others know.

I ordered 2 tablets through KGB and Bonorex on 18th November was told 21 days for delivery they have never arrived.
I emailed as they do not have a customer service number received an email back but still no goods. These were for my grandchildren and they now don't have an Xmas pressie I disgusted with them!
I have been waiting for a refund since 4th December 2012. I have emailed them daily still no refund. The merchant went out of business and I have asked for a refund as per there terms and conditions. They have not given me a refund as yet. I have reported them to my Bank as my debit card is insured. I have reported them to Watch Dog and currently Trading Standards are helping me.

Hello Just to let you know I will be informing trading standards over this issue but before I do I want to know what help you can offer. I ordered this deal from yourselves ‘An A1 size personalised canvas print from digitalcanvasprinting.co.uk.
This was used on the 23 of October, your KGB page states delivery is within 5 working days which was the main appeal for me as it was my anniversary in 3 weeks and I wanted a unique gift. After purchasing the deal I found on the web link attached to the voucher in very small font ‘Due to the nature of the KGB offer we may become heavily oversubscribed, which could lead to delays of up to at least 15 working days’ I was disappointed at this but went ahead as I believed there was still a good chance I would receive my purchase in time. I also spent extra money on the site upgrading the canvas to a full wrap/gallery frame with a matt laminate for an extra cost of £10.00 with also a £9.90 delivery charge on top.
By the 15th of November ’17 working days after the order date’ I contacted the company by email as the contact number on the site went straight to answer phone and was unable to leave a message due to it being full. I inquired about my order and asked for an estimated delivery date, as it was now past the 15 days.
My reply from Steve Perkins was:
“we have some delays at the moment due to the huge amount of orders we have received we are working through these and your canvas should be with you in the next 5 working days”
I accepted this and waited. 26 working days later on the 27th of November I contacted Steve again as I still had not received my canvas, I requested proof of my order progress and delivery as I now intended the gift to be used as my partner’s birthday present for the 5th of December.
Again I received another email:
“we are running behind at the moment just because of the sheer number of orders we have received, yours will be with you in the next 5-7 working days, I will get this to you for the 5th December “
So yet again no proof was shown that my canvas had been processed and that the previous email on the 15 of November was a lie.
I contacted Steve again by email two days ago as the phone number still doesn’t work, I am yet have a reply. It has now been 38 working days later and the third month in from the order date, I have no longer faith in this company that I will be receiving my canvas and your advertised deal. I have research this issue and found that I am not the only one who has been disappointed and mislead by digitalcanvasprinting.co.uk. KGB ran the same deal in 2011 and had the same problems I want to know why you would risk your reputation and customer satisfaction in renewing this deal in 2012?
As well as numerous other people, I am fed up with this company and want you to contact Steve Perkins regarding my order id 14183. I want either a definite delivery date and tracking proof my order has been dispatched or a full refund of my order including the KGB voucher. I have been lied to repeatedly and will not tolerate it no longer.
I'm still yet to hear anything, save yourself the hassle and dont bother with KGB deal or any associated comapany there customer service is non existent and you just be scamed out of your hard earned money.

I have purchased two items now that have never turned up and one item that did eventually arrive but faulty. Customer service is shocking and the companies they seem to work with to produce the deals are just as bad. My mum purchased an Austen Lewis fold up bike back in the summer in August 2012 and we are now a few days off December and it still hasn't arrived this is meant to be a Xmas present and cost over £120 both companies are now not responding to emails and they don't seem to care about it. She was offered a refund but this was in September and thinking she still had plenty of time to receive the bike just said she would still be happy for them to send it out. 2 months later and nothing!!! STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY IF YOU SEE A DEAL YOU LIKE MY ADVISE CONTACT THE COMPANY DIRECT AND PAY THEM DIRECT. At least that way you get to know if the company selling the goods is even real. I have tried to get a phone number for Austen Lewis the people selling the bike and they are not listed on directory enquirers or have any phone number on their website very strange way of running a business.
I cannot understand how this company is still in business. They obviously deal with other idiot businesses, as I have ordered two products that have not turned up TWO MONTHS after ordering them. Not for my lack of trying... follow up emails, and calls that are never answered. It's just ridiculous, and looking at other reviews from people using this company, I simply cannot get my head around how KGB get away with this level of service? It's an absolute rip off. As soon as I get my two refunds I will be cancelling my account immediately with them.
I made a purchase for argan oil and was unable to order the product on the merchants website , I told KGB 4 times, they told me it was fixed 3 times, lies, no it wasn't! On the 4th occasion when I demanded a refund (it was only £10) I was told No! as the deal had expired, the deal expired during the complaint and I was not able to make the purchase.. There is no telephone number to call, except an 08000 one that has a message that all the operators are busy 'helping' other customers (yeah, whatever!) and to email, I don't want to email to complain, it gets me nowhere. So, in conclusion, there are better and more reliable, customer friendly deal companies out there. Steer clear of this one...I have pasted a copy of the response last received for KGB so they know which dissatisfied customer has reviewed them, this is important as I can see from other reviews they have many, many dissatisfied customers

Having booked and purchased a deal for coktails and a platter and made the trip to London with my daughter for her B'day, I was turned away by the merchants who said that KGB had fraudulantly used their name to advertise a deal that was not done! I had tried to ring them from outside this same place and deal, with no joy . Thats right, I purchased 4 different items from KGB Deals and 3 of them never were delivered!! I purchased an iPod car Transmitter...never received. I purchased jewelry...never received. I purchased an iPhone Clutch Wallet...never received. After I did finally get a refund for the transmitter, thats when I gave them the benefit of a doubt because I know things happen and could possibly get lost in the mail...So I ordered 2 more times. Worst idea ever. These purchases were the jewelry and wallet that I have yet to recieve. They also refuse to give a refund! I have asked multiple times to get refunded but they assure me that the items are being shipped. When I asked for a tracking number for the jewelry, they said the merchant didn't provide one because of the small size but, funny, when I kept emailing about how I still hadn't received them and wanted my refund, miraculously they were able to muster up a tracking number and said the delivery was received. Pretty much calling me a liar because, no, I still did not get it! They told me to go see my local post office for information.....so now I am supposed to go drive to hunt down my package I purchased that was supposed to be delivered to my door? I don't think so! What company says that?! I want my refund and still waiting for an email response.
Maybe theres package stealing fairies around my house that I didn't know about that only want to steal items shipped from KGB Deals... because clearly, they didn't want anything else that was ever shipped to me by other companies. Have an issue with them that has gone on for nearly four weeks. They do not respond to emails, they are unhelpful. They take your money at thge merchant but do not deliver. Have unsubscribed and advised friends to do the same. Do not use them.
I have 'taken advantage' of two deals from KGB. The first was misrepresented - what some people might call fraudulent; the second, after 8 weeks, I have seen no sign of delivery. Their customer service is non-existent, I've emailed them over and over, they just don't bother to reply. And I regret to say, we're talking about quite a lot of money here.
Take it from me, learn from my pain, these people are to be avoided. If you don't believe me, look up how many others have suffered (yes, I know, I should've done my research first!). Oh, and be nice, tell your friends, too.

My least friendly daily deal site - in fact I have stopped getting their emails. They do have good bargains but woe betide you if you have any problems; they have a strict "no refund after ten days" policy which means that if you buy a service, such as hair cut or manicure, and then run into problems and can't redeem it then you will not get a refund. I only get my shift pattern a month in advance and the hairdresser's i had the voucher for had bookings so far ahead it was impossible for me to get an appointment that i could make before the voucher expiry date.
money stuck b/w this company and the third party, the hassle of making a claim and calling the trading standers agency is killing me. lesson learned, pay more and get your peace of mind and if its looks too good to be true its probably a scam via a third party company after your money and card details

I have paid for 2 separate vouchers - but have received neither product
The first was for a tooth whitening stick where I was able to download the voucher and access the relevant website direct to confirm the order - but the pruduct has still not been delivered to me several weeks later
The second was a Swarvorski bracelet and earrings set - but I haven't even been able to download the voucher
I have emailed th customer support unit and received an email back to say I would receive a response within 2 working days - but nothing
I have tried to call them on countless occasions but there is always a recorded message saying they are busy dealing with other customer enquiries and to use the website - clearly there is intended to be no ability to speak to them direct
I still wish to proceed with the purchases - for which I have of coursed already paid - and trust KGB will have the decency to deal with my filed complaint

I paid £29 for a mkgadgets 8GB Nano Player(£80) and got the voucher code from them to buy this item.
When I entered the voucher code at mkgadgets site while purchasing the item, it did not recognise. I had to email the KGB Deals and was told to wait for 3 days.
I managed to use the voucher code after 3 days, and paid £5.95 for the delivery. The item arrived only after 2 weeks and there was no manual, was only a piece of paper with their website address to watch the tutorials, instead.
When I went to the website I was disappointed again to see the site is under maintenance, will be back after 3, 4 days.
I will never use this company again!!

Don't use. Ordered solar Christmas lights in November, didn't arrive. Managed to get my money back in January, when they still hadn't arrived by quoting their 100% satisfaction Guarantee, they weren't interest before that. Did chargeback to get postage back.
