The gearbox on my Kia Sorento went 3 days before the warranty ran out. When I took it to the dealers the guy in the service said I would have to come back next week because the guy I needed to see was away until then. I explained the problem and even showed them the broken gear teeth my local garage had removed from the sump. When I took the car back and saw the 'right' guy he said that I was too late as my warranty had run out at midnight. They refused to acknowledge that I had reported the fault before the warranty ran out even though the first guy I had spoken to remembered me and the broken teeth. I wrote to Kia customer service weeks ago and have had no acknowledgement whatsoever from them. Just like their dealer they are blanking me. This is my second Kia but I will never go near any Kia product again.
