I ordered some bedroom furniture from these through very.co.uk. What a huge mistake. Firstly, we had about 3-4 weeks to wait for the delivery which we didn't mind as the furniture was coming ready assembled. I got sent a letter and 10 emails (yes 10) saying that they would be delivered on Monday 2nd September. Because I work, I booked the day off, waited in from 7am-7.30pm and nothing turned up. I rang customer services on the Tuesday, also took this day off as I thought it might come the day after instead. Apparently the driver didn't know how to get into our building. We live in high rise flats, there is an intercom on the door round the back with a huge car park, why he didn't check this or ask at one of the open shops on the ground floor I will never know. Were we supposed to sit and wait outside for him all day or did he expect to shout up at the window? I now have to wait 2-3 weeks for another delivery date, they are only an hour away from where I live. I think this is an absolute disgrace. The woman I talked to on the phone was rude, full of attitude and not helpful at all. They did say they would ring me back but haven't heard anything yet surprise surprise. Awful company, will have to wait and see what furniture is like but judging from what I have seen so far from the company, I am not expecting much. Empty bedroom and now nothing for another 2 weeks. Avoid this company!!!
Dreams outsource their furniture to these cowboys:
- deliver wardrobe where door doesn't shut
- forget to load bedside table - still waiting for this item 6 weeks later
- delivery firm rude and do not communicate when delivering, then slate the furniture their delivering! that was funny
- Customer service is rude and denies any issues - crazy!
