A bare-faced lie from a Kwik Fit technician to raise the price by £180

Having been let down by Kwik Fit Mobile's fitting service who were too busy to attend the confirmed booking I drove to my local branch. I asked for a price on two GoodYear tyres (the mobile service price was £222).
I was told they had none in stock but they could supply me with two Michelins for over £400. I said no way and so they offered me their best deal on another brand for £330 - they confirmed that there was nothing cheaper they could offer me.
I said I'd wait for the GoodYears to be ordered in at which point they admitted they did have the GoodYear tyres in stock after all and the price would be £222.
Thieving, lying racketeers.
This would never have happend when Tom Farmer owned the business.
