I have made quite a number of business and domestic computing purchases from LamdaTek over the last few years and found the service, delivery and pricing to be excellent each time. On the odd occasion when I have needed to query specifications or ask for advice I have been very impressed with the results.

Service As Promised

The site promised delivery on a Tuesday if ordered on a Sunday and this is what occurred. The product (ScanSnap s1300i) arrived in good order and as described. I was impressed with the follow-up e-mail checking that delivery had been made.

Old fashioned service delivered electronically

Replacement hard disk delivered quickly and without fuss. Excellent packing. Worked first time. The figures and technical info they provide helped me choose a spot-on replacement when the original part was not available from them or elsewhere.

I just get the feeling they care about how their customers.

Good prices and excellent service. My only slight reservation is that the web site has such a huge range it can be difficult to find things. The PC configurator tool is also brilliant, although didn't use it this time.

Reliable, good comms

I have shopped from Lambda Tek twice. In both case shipping was immediate and delivery fast, the items as described and the price right.

The website can be confusing, as the same item can be listed more than once with different prices, depending on how much they paid for their stock themselves. This is far from ideal, and if you are not careful you may end up paying substantially more for the same item! If it wasn't for this, it would be 5 stars for me.

Ordered an Archos 101 G9 Turbo and it was delivered within 2 days (didn't pay for super fast postage).
Item came well packaged and emails from Lamda Tek kept me updated with order process...

FANTASTIC WILL DEFINITELY USE AGAIN

I have placed hundreds of order with Lambda Tek since 2006 and not once have they let me down without it being MY MISTKE.
There customer service is great, you can actually speak to a human being?.
There deliveries have always been on time many time, I have placed an order after there generous time allowed and it has still arrived very next day (a couple of times even after 6pm), not as if I can blame them for this like some of these reviews as once it has left them it is down to the courier?

I place more orders though Lambda Tek than I do with my distributors and there prices are extremely competitive.

The worst company I have ever brought from

I brought a set of 4 fans for my computer build from [Link] marketplace. The name and in the description both said "A BOX OF 4" so i thought brilliant price ill buy it.

A week later one fan turned up with a invoice that stated a "BOX OF 4" I called up the company thinking it was just a mix up and someone didn't read the order. LambdaTek were down right rude. They said it was a mistake and [Link]fault for the mishap. I called [Link] and they said they only allow people to sell things on the market place they do not control what they write and what items are places on it and it is completely the company's fault.

I called LambdaTek and told them this, even sent them a copy of the conversation with [Link] they would not give me my 3 fans that were missing from my order. They kept saying that it was miss written. It took me a hour of a heated argument with there customer services, ending with me pointing out that it was fraud and false advertising before they gave me a refund. They refused to give me the goods i payed for fair and square. Avoid this company like a plague. All you will get is trouble.

The customer services seem to be run by <language>. I will never give them any trade again.

Quick and efficient and well priced !

Ordered a home cinema and few accessories and was pleased how fast the order was processed, dispatched and delivered to Ireland. Customer service was blazing fast to assist me with my order. This was my first order and for sure will use them again in the future. Recommended!

Quick, efficient and reasonable

I ordered an HP Workstation one day, after comparing prices and it arrived the next after good email confirmation, package tracking etc. Absolutely no problems and I would purchase from them again withour hesitation.

Used them once and used them twice and will use them a third time

Ordered same toner cartridges as before, this time they were cheaper and as previously they arrived on time.

Will use them again for toner supplies and will shop with them when other products are required.

Failed to meet delivery timescale

I ordered by item and paid extra for next day delivery. When it didn't arrive I called and they were unable to tell me where it was. As it was a Friday and I needed it by the weekend, I asked if they could deliver it on Saturday - they couldn't unless I paid a further £10 (when it was their fault they didn't deliver it on on Friday). Order cancelled and refund requested.

To France my equipment arrived in good condition and well packaged, good vendor....

Still waiting for a refund

I have been waiting over a month for a refund on some damaged Epson photo paper I returned. I have provided photographic evidence of the damage, returned the packs as requested, provided proof of posting and a date and signature it was signed for at their warehouse and still their customer services are not happy - what does it take to get a refund from this company!!!!

Quick delivery + good value

I just bought a HP MicroServer from LambdaTek and it was delivered promptly. It works well and I am pleased with it. I think it is good value - The machine I bought came with 4GiB RAM and no internal disk, which was exactly the spec. that I wanted.
