Frustrating website and unstoppable flow of catalogues
Some nice clothes in some of La Redoute’s ranges, but overall, the quality of their clothes is not good. Delivery is sporadic and unprofessional and items do get left on the doorstep. (The main aim of the deliverers seems to be to get rid of the delivery.)
Two main problems: A stupid website which often fails to recognise La Redoute's own loudly trumpeted promotion codes, or recognise my e-mail address as a valid e-mail address (even 'though I've used it several times before on the website), making for a very frustrating order process; and the fact that it seems impossible to remove your name from their database.
I have been trying for months to turn off the supply of catalogues from La Redoute. I have sent three e-mails on the subject to the company (their contact phone number is an 0844 number: Another reason not to do business with them). The only response I've had is an e-mail encouraging me to complete an unfinished order on their website!
My advice would be to avoid doing business with La Redoute. If you start, you may find it very hard indeed to get out! Don't sign your life away.
