Rescheduled my flight, asked them to cancel it. No response for 2 days on emails and had to call 3 times. When they finally agreed to cancel, I was told it ll take 8-16 weeks for my refund to be processed. How do I book a new flight if they don't refund me in time? Asked if they can adjust my refund against a new separate booking, was told No. Extremely disappointed, regret using them to save a few quid (when they popped up on comparing websites).
Recently booked a hotel based on it's location on the map. Found out just before travelling that it was actually 20mins from that central location.
I think accurate location information is a must for a hotel booking site. They did not offer alternative accommodation which makes me wonder if this was a one-off mistake or a systemic sales tactic. Either way I book at your own risk.
I used a promotional discount code to obtain a discounted hotel quote on their site. Entered my payment details and when the payment confirmation appeared, it said it had deducted the full nondiscounted amount.
I informed customer service and they say there is "there is nothing much that can be done with regards to this matter and we are obliged to abide by the Terms & Conditions".
I am disgusted that they think they can wriggle out of the discount by showing small print on the discount code, whilst presenting a discounted quote that implies the disocunt code works. Do they really think their T&Cs are above consumer rights and statuary law.
Not only do they provide great up-to-date and efficient access to hotel rooms which I use often, when I accidentally double booked they were great at arranging for a refund. A surprisingly personal service in a digital world. I was most grateful - thank you.
when we go on the website it is very clear and you can choose your filters of how you want to see prices which is brilliant. If you are unsure of where you waqnt to stay and click in and out the page remembers the dates you selected so you dont have to keep going back to the begining and keying in the dates and amount of people again and again

Be careful about what you choose. I was stuck in a so-called 4 starts hotel in London sometime ago, with insects in the first room they showed me and hair everywhere on the second one - and no toilet and shower in the room - not mentioned in the booking of course - Told the hotel this is not acceptable, called last minute and they told me hotel manager is not reachable so I need to call the next day (it was a sunday noon). Of course I didn't stay at the hotel and last minute guys told me that it was my decision to not to stay and they can not do anything. So if you know exactly the hotel you're staying and it's cheap on last minute, go for it - otherwise be careful and better avoid last minute.
Booked flight + hotel package to Prague. Took a bag each to put in hold.
At airport we were told Lastminute had sold us a "Cabin Baggage" only flight - without telling us. There was nothing specifically about this in the documentation mailed us. At the airport it was an extra £40 per bag in the hold!
My advice - don't get conned as we were - avoid Lastminute at all costs.
I have been caught by Lastminute.com. I paid more on a secret hotel for Las Vegas on Lastminute.com website. Do not go for the Secret Hotel option promising you up to 45% in cheaper rates. I have just paid 45% more for the room than on the official hotel's website and you cannot cancel the reservation.
I found lastminute.com awful to deal with. Their representative made no effort to assist or understand our needs. Completely unacceptable, would not recommend using them at all.
We travel a lot, almost every month, and after trying other options, have decided that lastminute.com is the most convenient, economical and dependable way. I booked a double room only to find I had a double bed in a single occupancy room. Lastminute not interested as they say the contract is between the hotal and guest. They take no responsibilty yet they advertised the 'double' room on their site and took my money.
Used this site for most of the shows I see. Always good deals to be found. Only once did I find the seat given for a particular show had a slightly restricted view. If the set you are to get could be made known before purchasing it would be brilliant.
Well done for getting the speed and functionality ever better.
The best part of this company is if you have a problem or want to change anything you can quickly and easily speak to a real person without the usual pressing of numbers,and hanging on forever, and you do not have to pay for the call
I always use lastminute.com for flights and having checked them against other websites they are the best. Price quoted was the actual one with no extras. Have used them for some very good hotel deals.
Lastminute.com is the first place I go to find a cost effective hotel in London. It is usually very easy, quick and has some great deals! I don't need to trawl through lots of sites - in the early days I did this once or twice but then saw that each time Lastminute.com were the cheapest, so I now go back time and time again. I would have given 5 stars but they don't have an app.......yet (if they do, I don't know about it!).
Whenever we decide to book a short break or holiday it's the first name we click on. We have enjoyed so many holidays and weekend breaks with Lastminute.com and will carry on I am sure. It is so easy to search for what you want and booking is even easier.

I have used Lastminute for many years, to a point where I will not look anywhere else for my trips. It gives me the flexibility to arrange my trips and always gives me the best deals. When abroad using it seems very convenient for make further booking too.

I booked a flight for my friend's son. Unfortunately for me I misspelled his name so when the confirmation came we immediately called Last Minute. They said they would call the airline. And we were told no they would not change the name. And on top of that he could not board the flight unless the name matched exactly. After days of trying to resolve this problem they still have not helped. Yesterday the last person I spoke with said the supervisor would get back to me in 24 hours. They have been stalling and I was also told the flight can not be canceled because I waited too long. They were the ones causing the time to pass as I did call them the day after the booking and have been sending emails and calling over and over again. At this point we do not want to deal with this fraudulent company as it is obvious that they will take your money and not give you the service. They are refusing to refund, does anyone know what can be done? And the manager has not called back. I find it strange that every person I spoke to is from India... is this outsourcing?
I was booking a hotel in Barcelona for my parents & I needed to make some changes to my initial booking so I called the customer services. They were really helpful & extremely accommodating.
My parents really enjoyed the Hotel & the overall package they got from lastminute.com was great value for money.
I would never book through this website again!!! Booked flights to Australia today, waited for the confirmation email and when it came it said order declined, please email their security at the email address at the end of the cancellation notice. Text fro cancellation email is as follows,

What happens next?

Rang the help line number, they were no help! No explanation was given for the cancellation, I rang my bank to find out if my account had been refunded, it had, guy on the phone said I was lucky it normally takes 3-5 days for a refund! Have now booked and paid for flights through airlines own website with absolutely no problems!!!! Will never use this site again, nor would I recommend it to anyone else.

I've just spent an hour deciding on a hotel for a holiday. I went through the whole process, entered my card details and hit submit. I come across an error screen
'We have had a problem processing your hotel booking
Sorry there seems to have a problem completing your order. Please do not click back or try again.'
I check my bank account and money has been taken even though for some reason it didn't go through which is a disgrace.
I then call support and am told firstly I tried it twice which is why it was taken. This is incorrect as I clearly read the instructions saying don't try again so called straight away. I called customer support and was put on hold for about 10 minutes which I wasn't happy about as I was paying 14p a minute from a mobile. Then I'm told it will take 2-3 days for my money to be back into my account meaning I now can't try and book a holiday 'lastminute' for another 3-4 days as I now have no money in my bank account.
When I asked why an error came up I was told because prices fluctuate, well why is the website showing a price that I have gone through agreeing to pay? Why are you taking my money when my holiday hasn't gone through? When I asked this to your customer service guy, he couldn't provide an answer.
My first experience of lastminute.com has left a very sour taste in my mouth and I'm now, when I get my money back, probably going to go elsewhere to try and book it again. Seeing as I have to wait another 2-3 days, the hotel will probably now be sold out.
I bought 2 tickets and rented a car. When i checked out they charged me 70 euros.
In their FAQ states:
The credit card fee for website bookings is 2% of the total price, up to a maximum of £15.00 per booking.
When i contacted their support they said it is normal. As i remember they never charged me that much before. But they said it is a new rule.
I will never use their service again.
