Used this site a couple of times and they have always found what I wanted at the right price.
You can find deals, but used to be better!

I've had a few great deals of this site for both flights and hotels and also car hire. It doesn't always seem to be the cheapest these days as much as it used to be though, but the site itself and it's customer service are great.
I have used this site quite a few times and have often booked the "secret hotels" I have never been dissapointed.
Booked one of their secret London 4 star hotels and was not sure what to expect but was nicely surprised. Very good hotel.
Good transaction from lastminute as usual.
My boyfriend booked us a room in Paris recently - cannot fault it for price, ease of access, size, facilities & customer service. Will use again
Last minute suggests deals but its cheaper if you shop around.

Used them many times and very much like their price finding feature. Something that Opodo or Expedia lack... All around, good service.
I bought the experience for "Afternoon Tea at Kensington Palace" and found that:
a) They send you a voucher in the post, which may take up to 5 days. So if you are looking for something last minute, do not buy from lastminute.com.
b) The price "on the door" is actually cheaper than buying with lastminute.com. You also have more choice if you pay "on the door" as there are numerous different types of tickets, and afternoon teas.
The experience itself was great, but I would not buy from lastminute.com again.

Use this site every time I need accommodation booked at the last minute. I always choose their top secret hotels and they are always great.
The site's quick and easy to use, takes all the hassle out of finding accommodation and is a community based site so you get honest reviews from other users.
I've stayed in lots of their top secret hotels and they've always been great and you get a substantial discount. Happy all round!
Ordered plane and hotel. One flight was changed, but it was impossible to get the confirmation for the new flight by e-mail, so we spent quite a long time with support, before this was done. This change also resulted in us being late for the next flight and we missed it and had to wait untill the next day for another flight.
When we arrived at the destination, the hotel informed us that the reservation of the hotel had been cancelled by lastminute 4 days after it was booked. (trip was booked about 6 weeks before) lastminute never informed us about this.
But still they had charged us for the hotel and the flights and we got on the plane and got to our destination, but because of a problem with the credit card (they said) our hotel reservation had been cancelled. So the credit card was ok to pay for the flights but not the hotel???
Spoke to them on the phone for dont know how long and they could not find our reservation, not the hotel, not the flights. So at 02.00 at night after about traveling for 20 hours, we decided to pay for a room and see if we could get things fixed in the morning.
Next morning we spoke to the chat support and they found the reservation and finally things were fixed so we did not have to pay for the hotel again.
So after missing more than a day of our vacation and spending dont know how long talking to their support and spending money on calling (roaming) support in our home country etc. we finally got to enjoy almost 2 weeks of vacation.
I think we will order our vacation somewhere else next time.

Booked an experience with them, after receiving the voucher through the post it became apparent that it was actually cheaper to book said experience without their voucher. After speaking to their 3rd party booking agent, Acorne Plc, I was left feeling like I've been taken advantage of. They are truly awful. Lastminute really screws you, by not making it obvious what you actually pay. If you are going to book with them, read descriptions very very carefully and check with the experience company directly, before you buy. Otherwise you'll end up like I did, ripped off.

I've just got the worst experience in my entire life with "last minute"! No other services were so poor and non-professional and representative+supervisor were so ignorant! They sent me email two days prior the trip (international destination) that the reservation was canceled without any apparent reason! Honestly, neither the rep nor the supervisor did explain me what was the reason.... They claimed that they called me, but it's far from truth as I did not receive any voicemail. They started giving some other stupid excuse saying my bank was closed on the weekend! My bank - TD - is the only one that actually is open 7 DAYS a WEEK! And there is always a representative who will assist you on the phone even during the weekend! So what they say it's B.S. And lie!!!! When I spoke to supervisor she put the phone away and so when I didn't speak there was silence!no answer! After sometime you could hear her picking up the phone from the table and saying repeat it again.... This is soooooooo beyond my understanding! Now the tickets are much more expensive as the date of the trip is soooo close ( 2 days away). No one will pay me a difference! So you guys make your mind and don't use that poor service!!!!!!!

I have used lastminute for a number of things ranging from flights and accomodation abroad to booking a hotel room in the UK.
On all occassions i must admit I have never had a problem with them. THe prices are clear and concise, it is clear what you are paying for. E-tickets are delivered promptly to my inbox. There was only one issue once and that was to do with paying using my debit card, although I think it was just a one off bug in the system which was soon resolved.
All in all i think a very good website that can be used to compare with similar services other providers may offer.
I recently tried to book a hotel in Budapest. I went to lastminute.com's web site. There seemed to be some good deals, but the web site did not contain enough information about the price and location of car parking, price of breakfast, whether wifi was free etc. I emailed two separate queries via email several days ago. The first response I got was for me to call their customer service on their premium rate number and the second email has just been ignored. I called their premium rate number and I was told that they could not give me any more information, as the hotels concerned were "Top Secret Hotels". How ridiculous is that? The information I needed was basic. What's the point in providing an email address if you cannot get support from it? Anyway, never again, and I made my reservation with Booking.com, where I got the answers I needed quickly and efficiently.

Very rare that I use a travel agent anymore, been booking holiday flights through lastminute.com for the last 6 or 7 years and never had an issue yet.
Only minor problem is the website doesn't remember your date inputs when your trying to do another search with similar requirements.
Apart from that the search tools and products have been faultless in my experience.
got in my opinion some bargain weekend breaks to spend with my partner with lastminute.com. fast and reliable, i use them a few times a year when i need to get away.
i would not recommened park resorts holidays as you dont get good service,i was given a caravan with black mould in bedrooms caravan gold plus at highfield grange was very poor in april easter holidays 2011.
We used last minute.com a few times. Found very good hotels, and flights with regular airlines e.g: BA etc, and the one time we had to cancel a few days before holiday because of hospitalization Lastminute.com refunded hotel charges without any problems. Was able to put together flights and hotel easily, and the hotels we have found were very good quality, and would never have been able to afford them otherwise.
Recently I had to book a hotel in London for a short-notice business appointment, the hotel that was recommended was a bit too far from anywhere, although it was a bit 'cheaper' for London standards the quality was very low, incredibly small rooms (misleading pics) and very cold. We tried to get in touch with lastminute and pass some feedback on that particular promoted hotel but we never heard back from them nor the hotel. It's disappointing when custom support is so scarce when there are many other alternatives around.
We decided at the last moment to take a short break to scotland stopping at various cities on the way, we used Lastminute.com for hotels on the way they really did us proud. We stopped at the Hallmark Hotel in Carlisle, then onto Stirling's Highland hotel which was impressive as long as you don't mind the climb on cobbled streets, but this meant you were conveniently located for the tourist attactions of the Auld Jail and the Castle in one direction and the town centre in the other, then we travelled onto Edinburgh where we stayed at the Royal Overseas League Club right on Princes street where our rooms had a view of the Royal Mile, The Castle, The Camera Obscura and the Hub it was conveniently located for restaurants and shopping only draw back was parking, but all in all Lastminute.com came up trumphs.
Still the best place to find cheap deals on everything from flights and hotels to spa treatments.
No complaints at all - had a small issue with a hotel overcharging us in Berlin last year (claiming not to have received the money through lastminute) - Lastminute customer services dealt with it all very promptly and pleasantly so we had the money back within a couple of days.
booked my hotel here when i went to Cannes last September. Got a better rate than on Expedia or hotels.com.
I always check lastminute.com before other sites for booking hotels in the UK, and have had some real bargains, especially out of season.
I was visiting friends in Holland and wanted a short break deal and found lastminute.com to be the best out of all the holiday sites I visited. Everything was straight forward and I was able to get a 3 day break with hotel and flights for an incredibly cheap price....so cheap I thought there would be issues when we arrived at the hotel yet everything was wonderful from start to finish. Definitely give these chaps the once over if you're looking for a good deal.
I have to say I can always get a deal on here, i prefer them to expedia and they always seem to be easy to deal with, good work.
