A week out from wanting to stay in Melbourne we made a booking through this website with an email confirmation. The next day the hotel called to confirm the booking only to have Late Bookings call the following day and say the hotel was now booked out and our reservation was obsolete. Confused, I called the hotel and they said there was a system glitch and their staff were ill informed when they called me. I called Late Bookings to be told they would sort it out and get back to me via email or phone call. It's now been two days and I haven't heard a word. All accommodation in Melbourne under $500 is fully booked due to sporting events and we are forced to find accommodation outside of Melbourne. I understand errors occur but am disappointed with the lack of customer service in both Late Bookings and Easy Stay Apartments in St Kilda.
