Can definitely recommend this company, the money was in my account two days after I send them the currency, excellent service, fair rates
Leftover currency is brilliant so easy to do and they are very efficent, money was in our bank when they said and no delays
I had some reservations as to whether this was a bona-fide service as I got the details from the internet. However, I needn't have worried as the service provided by Leftover Currency was absolutely first-class.
They provided plenty of on-line advice for sending currency, particularly coins, in the post and this was extremely useful. The form for sending with currency was clear and concise and easy to print and complete. They acknowledged receipt of my currency almost immediately by email and the money was in my bank account within a day or two.
Just can't recommend this service highly enough. Absolutely excellent!!
Fantastic idea - great service - easy to do! I was really impressed with everything about left over currency and have been telling everyone about it and recommend they have a go. I had random bits and bobs left over from holidays and business trips that I thought I would never be able to use but also felt I couldn't throw away. I got over £50 for very little effort. Very impressed, very happy!
For years have had odd bits of currency around the house and not known what to do with it, other than give to charity. This got me thinking that if charities could find a way of converting then so could I.
Didn't really know what to expect and as I had Cyrpriot Pounds and Portuguese Escudos totalling no more than £20 I didn't feel I had anything to lose by popping it in the post. I was amazed how quickly I received an email advising my currency had been received with a very fair offer of around £18. I accepted this and within a day the money was in my paypal account.
I was pleased to be able to get some money for some outdated notes.
I received the cash on my bank account promptly.
I had these expired currencies from various parts of the world, not perhaps worth a fortune but not worth anything in the drawer! Sent them off to Leftover Currency and got a payment for all very quickly. Well worth the small effort to send them.
Easy website, simple form to download, prompt reply, cheque in post by return of mail. No hassle. Brilliant.
Easy to use, and it's possible to do as I did and take the currency to the London office. This avoids the postage charge but of course is only a viable option if you live close enought to London to make it economical. The money was paid into my account very promptly and I was kept updated by email. Thoroughly recommended: go through your pockets and cupboards now and get some free money.
very quick to answer my request and exchanged my old notes for a fair price would recommend them and use them again.
Was very happy with the service. I had a lot of different currencies and couldnt be bothered to count it so just bundled it all up. Wasnt sure if I would ever hear from them again but low and behold I received a cheque in the post and was very happy. Would certainly use them again.
After an elderly relative passed away we found old currency from Greek and Turkish Cyprus. Google came up with Leftover Currency and the website was clear offering pictures of the notes that could be changed. I felt it was too good to be true and rang the office and a very pleasant member of the staff explained how it works, giving advice on how to address the envelopes to avoid theft and how to package the money. The forms were easy to fill in and the money was paid into the bank account as requested in a matter of days. I would recommend them wholeheartedly.

Thank you for a great and speedy service
I sent the notes off on the Thursday and the cheque arrived on the following Tuesday
Thank you very much
Alternative to handing over your loose change and never-to-be-used-again currency to the charities that collect through air travel. If you want the cash for yourself they seem pretty decent too.
Really good service, website is a little clunky but its worth the work!
Having found some old currency left over from long passed trips I sent it to Leftovercurrency.com. They responded very promptly with a valuation, I accepted this as a good offer, and the money was in my bank in a couple of days. Highly recommended for a fair fast and efficient service.
I was suspicious in the first place but decided to go for it based on reviews I was able to find at that time.
Service was very quick, I got clearly notified via email on all details regularly during the process and I got the payment on my account quickly.
I was wondering about this service a bit, but got my £ immediately, following a very professional & quick communication. Highly recommended.
I had Cypriot pounds that I had not exchanged since visiting Cyprus 7 years ago and had endeavoured to but was informed that it was only possible to exchange them at the Bank of Cyprus in Nicosia. I therefore searched the internet and fortunately came across the Left Over Currency site and rather apprehensively sent off the Cypriot bank notes and to my delight I received acknowledgement of their receipt and quikly followed receipt of the sterling pound notes.
I sent my Cyprus Pounds to Leftover Currency thinking that it was quite possible that I would never hear from them. Almost as soon as I posted the currency I received an email from them saying my cheque in Sterling was in the post and true to their word 2 days later it arrived. I would use them again
no problems at all dealing with this company in fact they where faster than they advertised , 100% satisfied.
I used Leftover Currency for exchanging pre-Euro currency notes found in a deceased friend's house which would not otherwise have been very easily redeemed for cash. I was pleasantly surprised by the simple claiming process via the UK post. The exchange was done in a very short time - less than a week. The service is friendly and prompt with reasonable rates. I can thoroughly recommend Leftover Currency to anyone.
I had very old currency and they were the only ones I could find to exchange it. My experience was very good.
Excellant efficient service, justb three days from sending notes to receiving cheque with an acknowledgment email between. First rate service have no hesitation in giving a full endorsement.
Send in your left over currency after checking what notes and coins can be exchanged...........and exactly as stated a cheque will arrive back in the post very promptly.
Prompt reliable service.
Wow what a great service I have just changed a few gruby old holiday notes all no longer legal tender into £34.00 cash. I just put it into an envelope posted it off and three days later the cash was in my paypal account. Great service and easy to do.
They delivered was promised. I would use them again.
Excellent service. Fast and very efficient.
Glad I found you guys this is a really valuable service, highly recommended, very professional and thanks!
Very prompt service and good email communications
I was sceptical when I came across this website that the currency would be sent off and I would not hear from them again, however, I was very happy to find that the process proved to be very efficient, I received a prompt reply with a cheque sent out by return.
Needed to get the best from old currency left my father for my mother.
Website easy to use, and money arrived as promised.
I was tidying up my desk and found some Potuguese, Belgium and French out of date money. Two days later I found this web site and decided to send the money which, I must admit I didn't think I would ever see again. Surprise, within 10 days I received a cheque, so I can only say it was not a waste of time but time well taken.
Thank you.
I was hesitant dealing with an online overseas company but they handled my transaction totally professionally and quickly. I was actually surprised at how easy it was.
When I was living in Spain I brought an old 5000 peseta note to my bank and was informed by the manager that it was not worth the hassle as there was only one bank in Spain that would exchange Pesetas. The bank was in Madrid and as I lived some 600 kilometers away this was a no no.
I found Left Over Currency on the web and sent them the Pesetas and within a week i received payment into my account. They managed to do what the Banks in Spain could not be bothered to do
It's so easy to do. Check the website for what coins and notes they accept. Send it all off (they even tell you how to best secure the parcel/envelope!). Then pop it in the post and days later there is a credit in your Bank Account. Only word of caution is that when you use the FX rates from the website it doesn't seem to quite equal what you were expecting but only marginal, I assume the fluctuations come into play on current currency.
