Have now ordered several times from Lightbulbs Direct and have had excellent service in quality and despatch. Last order had a slight problem with delivery and contacted them. Their staff were very helpfull and the problem turned out to be the local carrier but was resolved the next day.
Its good to know that you can go to a site with variety of products to choose from at reasonable prices and well packed goods with efficient delivery system.
Upon receiving my products, I noticed that one of the blubs ordered was not working and I immediately called the customer services, and a replacement was sent within few days, first class.
Been looking for some under cupboard small tubes for ages, but never been able to identify the type, quote old. The pics on the website are great compared to similar sites, so i was able to find them easily. Ordered (great price too) turned up in time quoted and were exactly the right thing. Brilliant ! FOr a lamp replacement which all local suppliers had not seen before the girls recognition of what I required was outstanding., but not cheap but I can't suppose that is your objective when service is your criteria
I really can't praise Light Bulbs Direct enough. I was looking to replace 50 or so light bulbs and these guys came in at the best value for money so I placed an order. They dispatched it perfectly - on time, well boxed and marked with fragile. Alas, there was an issue in transit and a number of the bulbs were broken. Light Bulbs Direct took this in their stride, offered to replace the entire order and shipped it to me with expedited shipping. I find the true measure of a retailer is how they handle things when something goes wrong and these guys dealt with everything brilliantly.
I have ordered countless bulbs from LightBulbs Direct over the last few years with no issues until last week when one of the bulbs they shipped to me was faulty.
Normally I would just throw it away but it was an eco strip light which, whenm you add delivery and VAT cost me £10
I am deliberating whether to use their returns policy but it means getting a returns number, re-packaging it (of course I disposed of the original packaging), walking to the post office and paying for return postage.
Given that I am a regular customer I would have expected to be able to simply make a call and get a refund against my card.
I had reason to E mail to ask advise as I could not find the right bulb.
The E mail back from you was so helpful and even gave the link to the
item I wanted.
Delivery was the very next day.
I was very please with the rapidity of my delivery, the packaging was very safe. The product is very good with a good price too. I really recommended to anyone.

As a retailer Lightbulbs Direct offers a 1 year guarantee on all non-filament* light bulbs and a 2 year guarantee on LEDs. We will either replace the bulb or offer a full refund to cover the original cost of the bulb. All we ask is that you report the fault to us so we can issue a returns authorisation number and organise free postage for return of the faulty bulb. *Filament bulbs include domestic Incandescents & Tungsten Halogen bulbs. Extended warranties for LEDs are available direct from most Manufacturers.
